they_o answer_v no._n then_o shall_v the_o priest_n say_v thus_o dear_a belove_a forasmuch_o as_o all_o man_n be_v conceyve_v and_o bear_v in_o sin_n and_o that_o no_o man_n bear_v in_o sin_n can_n entre_fw-fr into_o the_o kyngdom_n of_o god_n except_o he_o be_v regenerate_v and_o bear_v a_o new_a of_o water_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n i_o beseech_v you_o to_o call_v upon_o god_n the_o father_n through_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n that_o of_o his_o bounteouse_a mercy_n he_o will_v grant_v to_o these_o child_n that_o thing_n which_o by_o nature_n they_o can_v have_v that_o be_v to_o say_v they_o may_v be_v baptise_a with_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o receyve_v into_o christ_n holy_a church_n and_o be_v make_v lyvely_a membre_n of_o the_o same_o then_o the_o priest_n shall_v say_v let_v we_o pray_v almyghtie_a and_o everlasting_a god_n which_o of_o thy_o justice_n dyddest_n destroy_v by_o flood_n of_o water_n the_o whole_a world_n for_o sin_n except_o viii_o person_n who_o of_o thy_o mercy_n the_o same_o time_n thou_o do_v save_v in_o the_o ark_n and_o when_o thou_o dyddest_n drown_v in_o the_o read_v sea_n wicked_a king_n pharaoh_n with_o all_o his_o army_n yet_o at_o the_o same_o time_n thou_o do_v lead_v thy_o people_n the_o child_n of_o israel_n safe_o through_o the_o mydde_v thereof_o whereby_o thou_o do_v figure_v the_o wash_n of_o thy_o holy_a baptism_n &_o by_o the_o baptism_n of_o thy_o well-beloved_a son_n jesus_n christ_n thou_o do_v sanctify_v the_o flood_n jordan_n &_o all_o other_o water_n to_o this_o mystical_a wash_n away_o of_o sin_n we_o beseech_v thou_o for_o thy_o infinite_a mercy_n that_o thou_o will_v merciful_o look_v upon_o these_o child_n and_o sanctify_v they_o with_o thy_o holy_a ghost_n that_o by_o this_o wholesome_a laver_n of_o everlasting_a life_n with_o all_o thy_o holy_a and_o choose_a people_n this_o grant_v we_o we_o beseech_v thou_o for_o jesus_n christ_n sake_n our_o lord_n amen_o ¶_o here_o shall_v the_o priest_n ask_v what_o shall_v be_v the_o name_n of_o the_o child_n and_o when_o the_o godfather_n and_o godmother_n have_v tell_v the_o name_n than_o he_o shall_v make_v a_o cross_n upon_o the_o child_n forehead_n and_o breast_n say_v ¶_o n._n receyve_v the_o sign_n of_o the_o holy_a cross_n both_o in_o thy_o forehead_n and_o in_o thy_o breast_n in_o token_n that_o thou_o shall_v not_o be_v ashamed_a to_o confess_v thy_o faith_n in_o christ_n crucify_v and_o manful_o to_o fight_v under_o his_o banner_n against_o sin_n the_o world_n and_o the_o devil_n and_o to_o continewe_v his_o faithful_a soldier_n and_o servant_n unto_o thy_o life_n end_v amen_n and_o this_o he_o shall_v do_v and_o say_v to_o as_o many_o child_n as_o be_v present_a to_o be_v baptize_v one_o after_o another_o let_v we_o pray_v almighty_a and_o immortal_a god_n the_o aid_n of_o all_o that_o need_n the_o helper_n of_o all_o that_o flee_v to_o thou_o for_o succour_n the_o life_n of_o they_o that_o believe_v and_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o dead_a we_o call_v upon_o thou_o for_o these_o infant_n that_o they_o come_n to_o thy_o holy_a baptism_n may_v receyve_v remission_n of_o their_o sin_n by_o spiritual_a regeneration_n receyve_v they_o o_o lord_n as_o thou_o haste_v promise_v by_o thy_o well-beloved_a son_n say_v ask_v and_o you_o shall_v have_v seek_v and_o you_o shall_v find_v knock_v and_o it_o shall_v be_v open_v unto_o you_o so_o geve_v now_o unto_o we_o that_o ask_v let_v we_o that_o seek_v find_v open_v thy_o gate_n unto_o we_o that_o knock_v that_o these_o infant_n may_v enjoy_v the_o everlasting_a benediction_n of_o thy_o heavenly_a wash_n and_o may_v come_v to_o the_o eternal_a kingdom_n which_o thou_o haste_v promise_v by_o christ_n our_o lord_n amen_n then_o let_v the_o priest_n look_v upon_o the_o child_n say_v i_o command_v thou_o unclean_a spirit_n in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o father_n of_o the_o son_n and_o of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n that_o thou_o come_v out_o and_o depart_v from_o these_o infant_n who_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n have_v vouchesave_v to_o call_v to_o his_o holy_a baptism_n to_o be_v make_v membre_n of_o his_o body_n and_o of_o his_o holy_a congregation_n therefore_o thou_o curse_a spirit_n remember_v thy_o sentence_n remember_v thy_o judgement_n remember_v the_o day_n to_o be_v at_o hand_n wherein_o thou_o shall_v burn_v in_o fire_n everlasting_a prepare_v for_o thou_o and_o thy_o angel_n and_o presume_v not_o hereafter_o to_o exercise_v any_o tirannye_n toward_o these_o infant_n who_o christ_n have_v buy_v with_o his_o precious_a blood_n and_o by_o this_o his_o holy_a baptism_n call_v to_o be_v of_o his_o flock_n then_o shall_v the_o priest_n say_v the_o lord_n be_v with_o you_o the_o people_n and_o with_o thy_o spirit_n the_o minister_n ¶_o hear_v now_o the_o gospel_n write_v by_o s._n mark_n x._o at_o a_o certain_a time_n they_o bring_v child_n to_o christ_n that_o he_o shall_v touch_v they_o and_o his_o dysciple_n rebuke_v those_o that_o bring_v they_o but_o when_o jesus_n see_v it_o he_o be_v displease_v and_o say_v unto_o they_o suffer_v little_a child_n to_o come_v unto_o i_o and_o forbid_v they_o not_o for_o to_o such_o belong_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n very_o i_o say_v unto_o you_o whosoever_o do_v not_o receyve_v the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n as_o a_o little_a child_n he_o shall_v not_o entre_fw-fr therein_o and_o when_o he_o have_v take_v they_o up_o in_o his_o arm_n he_o
