one_o travel_v on_o his_o journey_n eternal_a and_o most_o love_a father_n like_v as_o this_o world_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o a_o continual_a pilgrimage_n and_o that_o a_o man_n while_o he_o be_v in_o this_o world_n do_v nothing_o else_o but_o still_o labour_n and_o travel_v to_o gather_v unto_o himself_o worldly_a riches_n and_o promotion_n and_o the_o more_o he_o have_v the_o more_o he_o put_v into_o it_o even_o so_o good_a lord_n i_o beseech_v thou_o give_v i_o grace_n to_o have_v such_o a_o earnest_a desire_n unto_o thou_o that_o i_o may_v continual_o all_o the_o day_n of_o my_o what_o a_o wretchedness_n be_v this_o that_o man_n will_v no_o better_o seek_v for_o the_o salvation_n of_o their_o soul_n but_o altogether_o for_o the_o vain_a pleasure_n of_o this_o life_n o_o lord_n i_o beseech_v thou_o thrust_v this_o worldly_a care_n out_o of_o my_o mind_n and_o let_v the_o care_n of_o heavenly_a thing_n take_v such_o deep_a root_n in_o my_o hart_n that_o it_o may_v evermore_o endure_v and_o continue_v so_o long_o as_o this_o earthly_a life_n do_v last_o another_o notable_a example_n of_o continuance_n do_v i_o find_v in_o thy_o faithful_a servant_n job_n in_o these_o word_n and_o the_o lord_n say_v unto_o sathan_n have_v thou_o not_o consider_v my_o servant_n job_n how_o none_o be_v like_o he_o in_o the_o earth_n an_o upright_o a_o just_a man_n and_o one_o that_o fear_v god_n and_o eschew_v evil_a for_o yet_o he_o continue_v in_o his_o uprightness_n although_o thou_o moove_v i_o against_o he_o to_o destroy_v he_o with_o out_o a_o cause_n here_o o_o lord_n
to_o take_v delight_n therein_o as_o in_o a_o most_o precious_a jewel_n for_o even_o as_o wine_n o_o lord_n be_v pleasant_a unto_o the_o taste_n and_o sense_n of_o man_n even_o so_o good_a lord_n let_v thy_o word_n be_v delectable_a unto_o my_o mind_n and_o soul_n for_o if_o i_o take_v pleasure_n in_o a_o worldly_a thing_n that_o be_v delightful_a and_o pleasant_a unto_o the_o body_n be_v here_o this_o day_n and_o go_v the_o next_o how_o much_o more_o ought_v i_o to_o take_v pleasure_n in_o that_o unspeakable_a treasure_n the_o delight_n and_o food_n of_o the_o soul_n which_o for_o holy_a word_n and_o to_o cast_v away_o and_o utter_o to_o eschew_v and_o abhor_v the_o dirty_a tradition_n the_o devilish_a dream_n the_o vain_a reliks_n &_o ceremony_n of_o that_o man_n of_o sin_n the_o pope_n of_o rome_n and_o all_o his_o balaamiticall_a shaveling_n which_o be_v utter_a enemy_n to_o thy_o cross_n kill_v thy_o innocent_a lamb_n convert_n the_o simple_a of_o we_o from_o thou_o my_o sweet_a saviour_n as_o much_o as_o in_o they_o lie_v unto_o their_o antichristian_a power_n teach_v they_o to_o come_v from_o thy_o merciful_a promise_n unto_o that_o man_n of_o sin_n for_o money_n to_o have_v their_o sin_n forgive_v they_o whereas_o my_o sweet_a saviour_n none_o be_v able_a to_o forgive_v sin_n but_o only_o thou_o much_o less_o oh_o lord_n he_o that_o be_v so_o great_a never_o shall_v be_v quench_v oh_o what_o a_o terror_n be_v this_o to_o the_o conscience_n of_o many_o which_o know_v themselves_o to_o be_v great_a and_o grevous_a offender_n and_o yet_o as_o this_o detestable_a doctrine_n of_o antichrist_n teach_v they_o must_v obtain_v salvation_n by_o their_o own_o merit_n or_o deserve_n oh_o what_o a_o hell_n have_v they_o in_o their_o conscience_n and_o except_o they_o fly_v speedy_o from_o that_o devilish_a doctrine_n and_o look_v upon_o thy_o most_o merciful_a and_o sweet_a promise_n and_o with_o a_o steadfast_a faith_n assure_o believe_v the_o same_o doubtless_o they_o must_v needs_o fall_v into_o the_o
be_v the_o grace_n of_o thy_o holy_a spirit_n here_o be_v the_o gift_n of_o continuance_n unto_o the_o end_n who_o although_o he_o have_v lose_v all_o worldly_a pleasure_n yet_o will_v he_o never_o start_v from_o the_o obedience_n of_o thy_o holy_a will_n yea_o although_o sathan_n that_o ancient_a enemy_n of_o all_o mankind_n seek_v all_o the_o mean_n that_o he_o can_v devise_v to_o plague_v the_o carcase_n of_o poor_a job_n yet_o do_v he_o remain_v constant_a unto_o the_o end_n for_o all_o the_o trouble_n and_o persecution_n that_o he_o abode_n if_o it_o be_v thy_o will_n good_a father_n i_o pray_v thou_o to_o imprint_v this_o gracious_a gift_n of_o continuance_n in_o my_o hart_n that_o whatsoever_o cross_n or_o tribulation_n i_o suffer_v i_o may_v patient_o abide_v the_o same_o for_o as_o our_o saviour_n christ_n say_v he_o that_o take_v not_o his_o cross_n and_o follow_v i_o be_v not_o worthy_a of_o i_o and_o again_o he_o that_o will_v save_v his_o life_n shall_v lose_v it_o and_o he_o that_o lose_v his_o life_n for_o my_o sake_n shall_v find_v it_o oh_o unhappy_a man_n that_o will_v seek_v to_o save_v his_o life_n in_o this_o world_n and_o lose_v it_o in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v and_o thrice_o happy_a be_v he_o that_o lose_v his_o life_n in_o this_o world_n for_o our_o saviour_n christ_n his_o sake_n for_o he_o sure_o shall_v find_v it_o in_o the_o world_n to_o christian_n life_n follow_v the_o example_n of_o marie_n magdalen_n out_o of_o who_o our_o saviour_n christ_n cast_v seven_o devil_n who_o in_o the_o beginning_n be_v a_o great_a and_o a_o grievous_a sinner_n but_o in_o the_o end_n confess_v her_o wickedness_n and_o sin_n obtain_v free_a remission_n at_o thy_o hand_n and_o become_v a_o new_a woman_n lead_v her_o life_n in_o holiness_n and_o righteousness_n and_o as_o the_o evangelist_n luke_n witness_v when_o our_o saviour_n christ_n enter_v into_o the_o house_n of_o one_o of_o the_o pharisy_n to_o dine_v with_o he_o behold_v a_o woman_n in_o the_o city_n which_o be_v a_o sinner_n when_o she_o know_v that_o jesus_n sit_v at_o the_o table_n in_o the_o pharisy_n house_n she_o bring_v a_o box_n of_o ointment_n and_o she_o stand_v at_o his_o foot_n behind_o he_o weep_v &_o begin_v to_o wash_v his_o foot_n with_o tear_n &_o do_v wipe_v they_o with_o the_o hair_n of_o her_o head_n and_o kiss_v his_o foot_n and_o anoint_v they_o with_o the_o ointment_n show_v the_o great_a humility_n and_o reverence_n which_o she_o bear_v unto_o our_o saviour_n good_a father_n i_o beseech_v thou_o give_v i_o such_o a_o contrite_a hart_n as_o have_v
