what_o kind_n so_o ever_o or_o by_o what_o mean_v soever_o here_o be_v comfort_n and_o consolation_n for_o they_o as_o a_o manuscript_n send_v from_o heaven_n to_o certify_v they_o that_o the_o lord_n be_v very_o pitiful_a of_o they_o quest_n but_o here_o a_o question_n may_v be_v ask_v by_o some_o afflict_a soul_n how_o it_o can_v be_v that_o the_o lord_n be_v thus_o pitiful_a of_o they_o see_v that_o many_o time_n he_o let_v they_o alone_o a_o long_a time_n in_o great_a affliction_n even_o to_o the_o reproach_n of_o the_o world_n and_o the_o pleasure_n of_o their_o enemy_n answ_n alas_o poor_a soul_n be_v thou_o bring_v to_o that_o estate_n that_o thou_o think_v his_o mercy_n be_v clean_o go_v that_o he_o have_v forget_v to_o be_v merciful_a or_o that_o he_o have_v break_v covenant_n with_o thou_o and_o that_o he_o have_v quite_o forsake_v thou_o it_o be_v but_o thy_o own_o thought_n to_o think_v so_o yet_o be_v not_o discourage_v it_o be_v but_o the_o same_o that_o have_v befall_v the_o very_o best_a of_o god_n servant_n as_o david_n and_o christ_n for_o david_n be_v so_o afflict_v and_o so_o long_o that_o he_o think_v the_o mercy_n of_o god_n be_v clean_o go_v and_o that_o he_o have_v forget_v to_o be_v merciful_a and_o have_v quite_o break_v covenant_n with_o they_o and_o christ_n in_o his_o agony_n think_v that_o god_n have_v utter_o forsake_v he_o psal_n 77._o 8_o 9_o &_o 89._o 39_o 49._o math._n 27._o 46._o but_o they_o be_v but_o word_n of_o passion_n for_o god_n be_v as_o pitiful_a of_o they_o in_o their_o great_a affliction_n and_o love_v they_o as_o at_o other_o time_n and_o this_o christ_n know_v when_o he_o call_v he_o my_o god_n my_o god_n and_o david_n when_o he_o have_v remember_v the_o year_n of_o the_o right_a hand_n of_o the_o most_o high_a and_o meditate_a of_o his_o work_n and_o devise_v of_o all_o his_o act_n then_o he_o can_v say_v thy_o way_n o_o god_n be_v in_o the_o sanctuary_n that_o be_v that_o it_o be_v too_o high_a for_o flesh_n and_o blood_n to_o conceive_v of_o but_o only_o by_o faith_n therefore_o if_o thou_o think_v through_o thy_o great_a affliction_n that_o the_o lord_n have_v forget_v to_o be_v merciful_a
