marie_n before_o she_o have_v take_v the_o pain_n of_o martha_n if_o our_o lord_n himself_o be_v please_v that_o we_o be_v marry_o there_o will_v be_v nothing_o to_o be_v fear_v though_o it_o shall_v be_v upon_o the_o very_a first_o day_n of_o our_o do_v he_o service_n but_o yet_o let_v we_o consider_v well_o of_o the_o matter_n as_o i_o think_v i_o be_v say_v before_o for_o this_o small_a moat_n of_o little_a humility_n will_v make_v a_o shift_n to_o do_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o hurt_n against_o profit_v in_o the_o way_n of_o contemplation_n but_o to_o return_v now_o to_o the_o second_o as_o i_o be_v be_v a_o kind_n of_o folly_n or_o madness_n but_o our_o thought_n in_o the_o ordinary_a way_n have_v need_n of_o a_o kind_n of_o lean_v or_o restingplace_n though_o yet_o sometime_o the_o soul_n may_v go_v so_o out_o of_o herself_o yea_o and_o many_o time_n may_v be_v so_o full_a of_o almighty_a god_n that_o perhaps_o she_o have_v no_o neęd_n to_o recollect_v herself_o by_o mean_n of_o any_o thing_n create_v but_o this_o be_v not_o a_o thing_n so_o ordinary_a and_o in_o business_n and_o persecution_n and_o trouble_n when_o she_o can_v enjoy_v so_o much_o quiet_a and_o in_o the_o time_n also_o of_o dryness_n and_o dulness_n christ_n our_o lord_n be_v wont_a to_o be_v a_o very_a good_a friend_n for_o we_o consider_v he_o as_o man_n and_o we_o behold_v he_o full_a of_o weakness_n and_o affliction_n and_o he_o be_v company_n fit_a for_o all_o good_a occasion_n and_o when_o once_o we_o be_v a_o little_a accustom_a we_o shall_v find_v he_o very_o easy_o keep_v close_a to_o we_o though_o yet_o some_o such_o time_n will_v occur_v as_o that_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v able_a to_o do_v neither_o the_o one_o nor_o the_o other_o upon_o this_o reason_n it_o will_v be_v well_o to_o do_v that_o whereof_o i_o have_v speak_v already_o namely_o not_o to_o pretend_v and_o procure_v any_o sensible_a consolation_n of_o spirit_n but_o let_v any_o thing_n arrive_v that_o will_v for_o it_o be_v no_o toy_n or_o trifle_n to_o embrace_v the_o cross_n of_o our_o lord_n this_o lord_n of_o we_o be_v forsake_v by_o all_o manner_n of_o comfort_n and_o they_o leave_v he_o all_o alone_a in_o his_o affliction_n but_o yet_o let_v not_o we_o do_v so_o for_o he_o will_v reach_v we_o his_o hand_n which_o can_v raise_v we_o better_o up_o than_o all_o our_o own_o diligence_n will_v have_v be_v able_a to_o do_v and_o yet_o he_o will_v absent_v himself_o also_o when_o he_o shall_v think_v fit_a and_o when_o he_o shall_v think_v it_o fit_a he_o will_v also_o draw_v the_o soul_n out_o of_o itself_o as_o i_o have_v say_v before_o our_o lord_n be_v very_o well_o please_v to_o see_v a_o soul_n with_o humility_n introduce_v his_o son_n for_o her_o intercessor_n and_o he_o love_v she_o so_o very_a much_o that_o even_o when_o his_o divine_a majesty_n shall_v have_v a_o inclination_n to_o raise_v herup_a to_o great_a contemplation_n the_o same_o soul_n may_v yet_o hold_v herself_o unworthy_a and_o cry_v out_o with_o s._n peter_n depart_v from_o i_o o_o my_o lord_n for_o i_o be_o a_o sinful_a man_n i_o have_v try_v this_o very_a thing_n by_o experience_n and_o thus_o have_v god_n conduct_v my_o soul_n let_v other_o therefore_o go_v by_o some_o other_o short_a cut_n as_o they_o please_v but_o that_o which_o i_o have_v be_v able_a to_o understand_v be_v that_o all_o this_o cement_n of_o prayer_n be_v ground_v upon_o humility_n and_o truth_n that_o the_o more_o the_o soul_n be_v abase_v in_o that_o holy_a exercise_n the_o more_o be_v it_o exalt_v by_o almighty_a god_n nor_o do_v i_o remember_v that_o ever_o he_o show_v i_o any_o of_o those_o singular_a mercy_n of_o which_o i_o shall_v speak_v afterward_o but_o when_o i_o find_v my_o soul_n even_o as_o it_o be_v annihilate_v with_o observe_v myself_o to_o be_v so_o very_o wicked_a yea_o and_o sometime_o his_o divine_a majesty_n take_v care_n to_o give_v i_o to_o understand_v certain_a thing_n towards_o
