season_n so_o that_o you_o be_v in_o no_o wise_n in_o any_o thing_n the_o slack_a or_o more_o undevoute_a therein_o for_o these_o exercise_n for_o it_o can_v not_o be_v acceptable_a to_o god_n that_o which_o we_o offer_v unto_o he_o our_o duty_n undo_v no_o more_o than_o if_o you_o shall_v steal_v thereof_o to_o do_v alms_n the_o four_o ¶_o you_o shall_v not_o be_v the_o slack_a unto_o the_o common_a work_n and_o dede_n of_o obedience_n where_o soever_o you_o be_v call_v by_o custume_n or_o by_o word_n neither_o to_o help_v your_o even_a christian_a when_o he_o shall_v desire_v your_o you_o feel_v yourself_o draw_v by_o the_o holy_a goost_n to_o any_o better_a or_o to_o as_o good_a contemplation_n as_o your_o exercise_n be_v than_o you_o shall_v leave_v of_o your_o exercise_n and_o follow_v the_o tract_n of_o that_o good_a motion_n so_o long_o as_o it_o shall_v last_o and_o then_o return_v again_o unto_o that_o where_o you_o leave_v if_o it_o occupy_v all_o the_o time_n of_o your_o exercise_n then_o let_v it_o stand_v in_o stead_n of_o it_o for_o that_o tyme._n the_o syxte_v ¶_o you_o shall_v take_v to_o you_o some_o goostlye_o and_o discrete_a person_n to_o be_v your_o guide_n in_o these_o exercise_n to_o who_o you_o shall_v from_o time_n to_o time_n revele_v and_o open_v how_o you_o do_v feel_v yourself_o in_o these_o exercyse_n and_o what_o stir_v or_o motion_n you_o do_v feel_v in_o they_o that_o he_o may_v lead_v you_o by_o his_o discretion_n unto_o who_o also_o you_o shall_v declare_v what_o time_n you_o have_v and_o how_o you_o bestow_v it_o you_o and_o also_o you_o may_v most_o earnest_o long_a and_o desire_v to_o come_v to_o such_o point_n of_o perfection_n and_o virtue_n as_o they_o teach_v you_o the_o nynthe_n ¶_o you_o must_v have_v discrestion_n in_o the_o use_n of_o these_o exercise_n that_o you_o over_o labour_n not_o your_o labele_n and_o wytte_n for_o so_o may_v you_o have_v harm_n in_o your_o labele_n with_o to_o much_o vehement_a and_o violent_a meditation_n and_o special_o when_o you_o feel_v yourself_o undevout_a and_o dry_a of_o devotion_n for_o though_o you_o may_v move_v sometime_o yourself_o to_o tear_n or_o devotion_n yet_o you_o may_v not_o force_v yourself_o to_o vehement_o but_o mylde_o and_o gentlye_o do_v what_o you_o may_v without_o great_a violence_n the_o tenthe_n ¶_o if_o you_o can_v convenient_o and_o easy_o you_o shall_v perform_v your_o exercise_n for_o that_o day_n all_o together_o at_o one_o time_n if_o you_o can_v not_o then_o do_v it_o by_o portion_n as_o your_o time_n will_v suffer_v so_o you_o do_v it_o all_o in_o one_o day_n except_o as_o i_o have_v say_v you_o be_v let_v by_o obedience_n or_o charity_n the_o eleven_o ¶_o these_o exercyse_n must_v be_v use_v two_o hour_n of_o the_o day_n the_o exercise_n one_o hour_n in_o the_o morning_n before_o noon_n and_o their_o practice_n one_o hour_n after_o euensonge_n or_o toward_o night_n such_o that_o have_v not_o so_o much_o time_n they_o may_v use_v the_o exercyse_n one_o day_n and_o practice_n another_o day_n the_o aspiration_n you_o must_v have_v in_o your_o mind_n always_o that_o be_v to_o say_v oft_o time_n in_o that_o day_n that_o you_o use_v the_o exercise_n so_o long_o as_o you_o use_v the_o exercise_n not_o all_o at_o once_o but_o one_o or_o other_o of_o they_o and_o not_o continual_o nor_o by_o mouth_n sayinge_v it_o but_o as_o oft_o as_o you_o can_v call_v they_o to_o remembrance_n then_o devoute_o in_o your_o heart_n with_o very_a hartye_n affection_n and_o desire_v you_o may_v learn_v first_o to_o remember_v and_o have_v your_o aspyration_n thrice_o a_o day_n &_o then_o four_o time_n and_o untyll_o that_o you_o by_o custume_n can_v bear_v they_o very_o often_o in_o mind_n but_o how_o many_o day_n you_o shall_v use_v everye_o exercise_n herein_o you_o must_v counsel_v with_o your_o ghostly_a guide_n for_o at_o the_o jest_n you_o must_v use_v everye_o one_o of_o they_o seven_o or_o eight_o day_n and_o the_o last_o exercise_v you_o shall_v use_v xxxiij_o day_n so_o long_o our_o saviour_n christ_n be_v here_o in_o flesh_n &_o suffer_v great_a pain_n for_o our_o redemption_n and_o when_o you_o have_v go_v over_o they_o once_o if_o you_o feel_v not_o so_o much_o fruit_n in_o they_o as_o you_o will_v or_o think_v to_o have_v do_v then_o may_v you_o by_o the_o counsel_n of_o your_o ghostlye_o guide_n begin_v they_o all_o again_o or_o so_o many_o of_o they_o as_o you_o shall_v think_v best_a the_o twelve_o ¶_o you_o shall_v put_v in_o execution_n and_o must_v have_v a_o very_a good_a will_n and_o a_o unfeigned_a desire_n to_o follow_v and_o to_o express_v they_o in_o your_o life_n and_o deed_n to_o your_o power_n by_o god_n assistence_n the_o thurtenth_n ¶_o thouhg_n at_o the_o first_o you_o feel_v no_o swettnes_n in_o these_o exercise_n or_o perceive_v no_o fruit_n to_o grow_v in_o you_o by_o the_o use_n of_o they_o yet_o shall_v you_o in_o no_o wise_n be_v discourage_v or_o leave_v they_o but_o hold_v they_o steadfast_o and_o continue_v they_o faithful_o what_o temtacyon_n so_o ever_o or_o ghostly_a trouble_n you_o feel_v for_o if_o you_o use_v they_o only_o for_o the_o honour_n of_o god_n and_o take_v none_o other_o fruit_n of_o they_o yet_o you_o shall_v have_v great_a merit_n and_o a_o excellent_a reward_n of_o god_n for_o your_o diligent_a labour_n and_o travel_v but_o plain_o it_o be_v impossyble_a that_o a_o soul_n travel_v as_o dylygent_o and_o devout_o as_o it_o can_v in_o such_o excellent_a devout_a and_o moo_v godly_a medytacyon_n holy_a peticyon_n and_o dayely_a prayer_n shall_v not_o be_v hear_v of_o almyghtye_a god_n and_o take_v wonderful_a fruit_n and_o increase_n in_o virtue_n and_o perfeccyon_n yet_o more_o one_o than_o another_o and_o some_o in_o short_a time_n than_o other_o as_o it_o shall_v please_v the_o unsearchable_a wysdome_n and_o great_a mercy_n of_o god_n which_o gevyth_v free_o unto_o who_o he_o will_v how_o he_o will_v and_o how_o much_o he_o will_v you_o shall_v not_o be_v discourage_v in_o no_o wise_n neither_o by_o cause_n that_o you_o feel_v yourself_o very_o far_o shall_v do_v because_o i_o see_v not_o my_o great_a enormyte_v and_o detestable_a wickedness_n of_o my_o former_a life_n i_o beseke_v thy_o most_o bless_a mercy_n in_o the_o mercy_n of_o thy_o moost_n obedyente_a death_n help_v my_o imperfection_n that_o i_o may_v make_v full_a resignation_n unto_o thy_o only_a will_n in_o all_o thing_n to_o thy_o honour_n &_o glory_n amen_n though_o thou_o can_v
