nothing_o but_o the_o favour_n of_o god_n will_v he_o sufficient_a for_o their_o happiness_n but_o we_o can_v never_o get_v they_o to_o lay_v it_o to_o heart_n many_o a_o time_n do_v we_o entreat_v they_o to_o think_v sober_o of_o this_o life_n and_o the_o life_n to_o come_v and_o to_o compare_v they_o together_o with_o the_o faith_n of_o christian_n and_o the_o reason_n of_o man_n but_o they_o adventure_n but_o we_o can_v not_o prevail_v we_o entreat_v they_o to_o lay_v all_o other_o business_n aside_o a_o little_a while_n in_o the_o world_n and_o to_o inquire_v by_o the_o direction_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n what_o will_v become_v of_o they_o in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v and_o to_o judge_v themselves_o before_o god_n come_v to_o judge_v they_o see_v they_o have_v the_o law_n and_o the_o rule_n of_o judgement_n before_o they_o but_o their_o mind_n be_v blind_v and_o their_o heart_n be_v harden_v and_o the_o profit_n and_o pleasure_n and_o honour_n of_o this_o world_n do_v eâ—ther_o stop_v their_o ear_n or_o quick_o steal_v away_o their_o heart_n so_o that_o we_o can_v never_o get_v they_o to_o a_o sober_a consideration_n nor_o ever_o win_v their_o heart_n to_o god_n this_o will_v be_v the_o witness_n that_o many_o a_o hundred_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n must_v give_v in_o against_o the_o soul_n of_o their_o people_n at_o that_o day_n alas_o that_o ever_o you_o shall_v cast_v this_o upon_o we_o for_o the_o lord_n sake_n sir_n pity_v your_o poor_a teacher_n if_o you_o pity_v not_o yourselves_o we_o have_v rather_o go_v a_o 1000_o mile_n for_o you_o we_o endeavour_v to_o walk_v in_o holiness_n before_o they_o but_o alas_o the_o most_o do_v but_o mock_v they_o and_o call_v they_o puritan_n and_o precise_a fool_n and_o think_v they_o make_v more_o ado_n than_o need_v for_o their_o salvation_n they_o must_v be_v force_v to_o testify_v lord_n we_o will_v fain_o have_v draw_v they_o with_o we_o to_o hear_v the_o word_n and_o to_o read_v it_o and_o to_o pray_v in_o their_o family_n and_o to_o sanctify_v thy_o holy_a day_n and_o take_v such_o happy_a opportunity_n for_o their_o soul_n but_o we_o can_v not_o get_v they_o to_o it_o we_o do_v in_o our_o place_n what_o we_o be_v able_a to_o give_v they_o

than_o many_o such_o thing_n may_v be_v bring_v for_o aggravation_n of_o the_o fault_n so_o a_o twofold_a evidence_n will_v be_v bring_v against_o the_o sinner_n from_o these_o thing_n one_o to_o prove_v he_o guilty_a of_o the_o fact_n the_o other_o to_o aggravate_v the_o fault_n and_o prove_v that_o his_o sin_n be_v very_o great_a for_o the_o former_a 1._o the_o very_a creature_n which_o sinner_n abuse_v to_o sin_n may_v be_v bring_v in_o against_o they_o to_o their_o conviction_n and_o condemnation_n for_o though_o these_o creature_n shall_v be_v consume_v with_o the_o last_o commit_v wickedness_n the_o thief_n and_o deceiver_n will_v remember_v the_o time_n place_n the_o person_n they_o wrong_v and_o the_o thing_n which_o they_o rob_v or_o deceive_v they_o of_o the_o worldling_n will_v remember_v the_o business_n which_o he_o prefer_v before_o the_o service_n of_o god_n the_o worldly_a matter_n which_o have_v more_o of_o his_o heart_n than_o his_o maker_n and_o redeemer_n have_v the_o work_n which_o he_o be_v do_v when_o he_o shall_v have_v be_v pray_v or_o read_v or_o catechise_v his_o family_n or_o think_v sober_o of_o his_o latter_a end_n a_o thousand_o so_o many_o evidence_n against_o he_o so_o will_v the_o abuse_n of_o his_o own_o reason_n the_o entice_n of_o other_o to_o the_o same_o sin_n and_o harden_v they_o by_o his_o example_n one_o covetous_a unmerciful_a landlord_n do_v keep_v a_o hundred_o or_o many_o hundred_o person_n or_o family_n in_o so_o great_a necessity_n and_o care_n and_o labour_n that_o they_o be_v tempt_v by_o it_o to_o overpass_v the_o service_n of_o god_n as_o have_v scarce_o time_n for_o it_o or_o any_o room_n for_o it_o in_o their_o trouble_a thought_n all_o these_o miserable_a family_n and_o person_n and_o all_o the_o soul_n that_o be_v undo_v by_o this_o temptation_n will_v be_v so_o many_o evidence_n against_o such_o oppressor_n yea_o the_o poor_a who_o they_o have_v neglect_v to_o relieve_v when_o they_o may_v the_o sick_a who_o they_o have_v neglect_v to_o visit_v when_o they_o may_v will_v all_o witness_n then_o against_o the_o unmerciful_a matth._n 25._o the_o many_o ignorant_a worldly_a careless_a sinner_n that_o have_v perish_v under_o a_o idle_a unfaithful_a minister_n will_v be_v so_o many_o witness_n against_o he_o to_o his_o condemnation_n they_o may_v then_o cry_v out_o against_o he_o to_o his_o face_n i_o be_v ignorant_a lord_n and_o he_o never_o do_v so_o much_o as_o teach_v i_o catechise_v i_o nor_o tell_v i_o of_o these_o thing_n i_o be_v careless_a and_o mind_v their_o use_n all_o these_o may_v rise_v up_o against_o they_o to_o their_o condemnation_n and_o the_o judge_n may_v thus_o expostulate_v with_o they_o do_v all_o these_o mercy_n deserve_v no_o more_o thanks_o shall_v you_o not_o have_v serve_v he_o that_o so_o liberal_o maintain_v you_o god_n think_v not_o all_o these_o too_o good_a for_o you_o and_o do_v you_o think_v your_o heart_n and_o and_o confound_v they_o on_o this_o supposition_n do_v the_o apostle_n reprove_v such_o rom._n 2.4_o 5_o 6._o despise_v thou_o the_o riches_n of_o his_o goodness_n and_o forbearance_n and_o long_o condemnation_n to_o everlasting_a punishment_n the_o sentence_n on_o each_o of_o these_o contain_v both_o the_o state_n which_o they_o be_v judge_v to_o and_o the_o reason_n or_o cause_n of_o the_o judgement_n to_o that_o state_n for_o as_o god_n will_v not_o judge_v any_o to_o life_n or_o death_n without_o just_a cause_n so_o he_o will_v publish_v this_o cause_n in_o his_o sentence_n as_o it_o be_v the_o manner_n of_o judge_n to_o do_v if_o you_o say_v christ_n will_v not_o use_v a_o voice_n let_v it_o satisfy_v that_o though_o we_o know_v not_o the_o manner_n yet_o if_o he_o do_v it_o but_o by_o mental_a discovery_n as_o he_o show_v man_n what_o shall_v everlasting_o befall_v they_o so_o he_o will_v show_v they_o why_o it_o shall_v so_o befall_v they_o 1._o the_o sentence_n on_o they_o on_o the_o right_a hand_n will_v contain_v 1._o their_o justification_n and_o adjudication_n to_o blessedness_n and_o that_o both_o as_o general_o denominate_v and_o as_o particular_o determine_v and_o describe_v 2._o and_o the_o cause_n of_o this_o judgement_n 1._o in_o general_a they_o shall_v be_v pronounce_v bless_v satan_n will_v have_v have_v they_o curse_a and_o miserable_a the_o law_n do_v curse_v they_o to_o misery_n many_o a_o fearful_a thought_n have_v possess_v their_o own_o breast_n lest_o they_o shall_v prove_v at_o last_o accurse_v and_o miserable_a but_o now_o they_o hear_v the_o contrary_a from_o their_o judge_n all_o the_o promise_n in_o the_o gospel_n can_v not_o perfect_o overcome_v those_o their_o fear_n all_o the_o comfortable_a word_n of_o the_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n can_v not_o perfect_o subdue_v they_o all_o the_o tender_a mercy_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n do_v not_o perfect_o subdue_v they_o but_o now_o they_o be_v vanquish_v all_o for_o ever_o he_o that_o once_o have_v hear_v his_o redeemer_n in_o judgement_n call_v he_o bless_v will_v never_o fear_v be_v curse_v more_o for_o he_o that_o christ_n bless_v shall_v be_v bless_v indeed_o the_o description_n of_o their_o blessedness_n follow_v come_v inherit_v the_o kingdom_n prepare_v for_o you_o from_o the_o foundation_n of_o the_o world_n and_o also_o they_o be_v call_v bless_v of_o the_o father_n here_o be_v the_o fountain_n of_o their_o blessedness_n the_o father_n and_o the_o state_n of_o their_o blessedness_n in_o be_v the_o father_n for_o i_o suppose_v they_o be_v call_v the_o bless_a of_o the_o father_n both_o because_o the_o father_n bless_v they_o that_o be_v make_v they_o happy_a and_o because_o these_o bless_a one_o be_v the_o father_n own_o and_o so_o christ_n will_v publish_v it_o to_o the_o world_n in_o judgement_n that_o he_o come_v to_o glorify_v the_o father_n and_o will_v proclaim_v he_o the_o principal_a efficient_a and_o ultimate_a end_n of_o his_o work_n of_o redemption_n and_o the_o blessedness_n of_o his_o saint_n and_o that_o himself_o be_v as_o mediator_n but_o the_o way_n to_o the_o father_n it_o be_v the_o father_n that_o prepare_v the_o kingdom_n for_o they_o and_o from_o the_o foundation_n of_o the_o world_n prepare_v it_o both_o for_o they_o as_o choose_v one_o and_o for_o they_o as_o future_a believer_n and_o righteous_a one_o it_o be_v call_v a_o kingdom_n partly_o in_o respect_n to_o god_n the_o king_n in_o who_o glory_n we_o shall_v partake_v in_o our_o place_n and_o partly_o metaphorical_o from_o the_o dignity_n of_o our_o condition_n for_o so_o it_o be_v that_o ourselves_o be_v say_v to_o be_v make_v king_n rev._n 1.6_o and_o 5.1_o 1_o pet._n 2.9_o and_o not_o that_o we_o be_v proper_o king_n for_o than_o we_o must_v have_v subject_n who_o must_v be_v govern_v by_o we_o thus_o we_o see_v their_o blessedness_n in_o the_o fountain_n end_n and_o state_n of_o dignity_n as_o to_o the_o receptive_a act_n on_o their_o part_n it_o be_v express_v by_o two_o word_n one_o signify_v their_o first_o entrance_n on_o it_o come_v the_o other_o their_o possession_n inheritance_n that_o be_v possess_v it_o as_o give_v by_o the_o father_n and_o redeem_a by_o the_o son_n and_o hold_v it_o in_o this_o tenure_n for_o ever_o the_o true_a believer_n be_v convince_v in_o this_o life_n that_o indeed_o there_o be_v no_o true_a blessedness_n but_o this_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n the_o lord_n reveal_v this_o to_o his_o heart_n by_o his_o word_n and_o spirit_n and_o therefore_o he_o contemn_v the_o seem_a happiness_n on_o earth_n and_o lay_v up_o for_o himself_o a_o treasure_n in_o heaven_n and_o make_v he_o friend_n with_o the_o mammon_n of_o unrighteousness_n and_o venture_v all_o his_o hope_n in_o this_o vessel_n and_o now_o he_o find_v the_o wisdom_n of_o that_o choice_n in_o a_o rich_a return_n god_n make_v he_o so_o wise_a a_o merchant_n as_o to_o sell_v all_o for_o this_o pearl_n of_o great_a price_n and_o therefore_o now_o he_o shall_v find_v the_o gain_n as_o there_o be_v no_o other_o true_a happiness_n but_o god_n in_o glory_n so_o be_v there_o nothing_o more_o suitable_a and_o welcome_a to_o the_o true_a believer_n o_o how_o welcome_a will_v the_o face_n of_o that_o god_n be_v who_o he_o love_v who_o he_o seek_v who_o he_o long_v and_o wait_v for_o how_o welcome_a will_v that_o kingdom_n be_v which_o he_o live_v in_o hope_n of_o which_o he_o part_v with_o all_o for_o and_o suffer_v for_o in_o the_o flesh_n how_o glad_a will_v he_o be_v to_o see_v the_o bless_a face_n of_o his_o redeemer_n who_o by_o his_o manifold_a grace_n have_v bring_v hâ—m_n unto_o this_o i_o leave_v the_o believe_a soul_n to_o think_v of_o it_o and_o to_o make_v it_o the_o daily_a matter_n of_o his_o delightful_a meditation_n what_o a_o unconceivable_a joy_n in_o one_o moment_n this_o sentence_n of_o christ_n will_v fill_v his_o soul_n with_o redeem_v we_o in_o special_a it_o will_v lift_v up_o the_o head_n of_o the_o saint_n in_o that_o day_n after_o all_o the_o fear_n of_o our_o own_o heart_n and_o the_o slanderous_a accusation_n of_o satan_n and_o the_o world_n that_o we_o be_v either_o impenitent_a infidel_n or_o hypocrite_n christ_n will_v then_o justify_v we_o and_o pronounce_v we_o righteous_a so_o much_o for_o the_o condition_n to_o which_o they_o be_v judge_v 2._o the_o reason_n or_o cause_n of_o this_o justification_n of_o the_o saint_n be_v give_v we_o both_o 1._o in_o a_o general_a denomination_n and_o 2._o in_o a_o particular_a description_n 1._o in_o general_n it_o be_v because_o they_o be_v righteous_a as_o be_v evident_a mat._n 25.46_o the_o righteous_a shall_v go_v into_o life_n everlasting_a and_o of_o punishment_n for_o sin_n but_o that_o be_v because_o he_o first_o make_v they_o just_a and_o so_o justifiable_a by_o pardon_v their_o sin_n through_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n and_o its_o true_a also_o that_o he_o will_v justify_v those_o that_o be_v wicked_a but_o not_o those_o that_o be_v wicked_a but_o judgement_n find_v they_o as_o death_n leave_v they_o and_o he_o will_v not_o take_v they_o for_o wicked_a that_o be_v sanctify_v and_o cleanse_v of_o their_o former_a wickedness_n so_o that_o christ_n will_v first_o pardon_v they_o
