work_n of_o god_n spirit_n be_v from_o the_o first_o to_o the_o last_o and_o the_o conversion_n of_o a_o sinner_n from_o the_o corruption_n and_o pollution_n of_o the_o flesh_n in_o which_o he_o wallow_v and_o to_o this_o purpose_n have_v i_o choose_v this_o place_n of_o scripture_n wherein_o we_o be_v encourage_v by_o god_n bless_a word_n that_o whatever_o we_o be_v though_o accurse_a and_o the_o great_a sinner_n in_o the_o world_n and_o that_o whatever_o we_o want_v we_o shall_v come_v to_o god_n throne_n of_o grace_n and_o we_o be_v to_o think_v that_o whatever_o sin_n be_v or_o have_v be_v commit_v and_o though_o our_o sin_n be_v never_o so_o great_a yet_o that_o they_o be_v not_o so_o great_a as_o the_o infiniteness_n of_o god_n mercy_n especial_o have_v such_o not_o only_o a_o intercessor_n but_o advocate_n to_o plead_v the_o right_n of_o our_o cause_n so_o that_o christ_n come_v and_o he_o plead_v payment_n and_o that_o however_o our_o debt_n be_v great_a and_o we_o run_v far_o in_o score_n yet_o he_o be_v our_o ransom_n and_o therefore_o now_o god_n justice_n be_v satisfy_v why_o shall_v not_o his_o mercy_n have_v place_n and_o free_a course_n this_o be_v the_o great_a comfort_n that_o a_o christian_n have_v that_o he_o may_v come_v free_o and_o bold_o to_o god_n because_o he_o come_v but_o as_o for_o a_o acquittance_n of_o what_o be_v already_o pay_v as_o bring_v to_o see_v he_o stand_v in_o great_a need_n of_o god_n mercy_n and_o christ_n blood_n so_o that_o the_o sinner_n cry_v out_o lord_n i_o stand_v in_o great_a want_n of_o mercy_n his_o eye_n follow_v another_o comparison_n of_o it_o it_o be_v as_o the_o sow_n that_o be_v wash_v and_o return_n to_o she_o wallow_v in_o the_o mire_n see_v another_o loathsome_a resemblance_n of_o this_o temporary_a faith_n the_o sow_n be_v wash_v but_o how_o she_o swinish_a nature_n be_v not_o wash_v from_o she_o as_o long_o as_o the_o sow_n be_v keep_v from_o the_o mire_n in_o a_o fair_a meadow_n to_o a_o puddle_n the_o sheep_n will_v not_o go_v in_o because_o it_o have_v no_o swinish_a nature_n but_o the_o other_o retain_v its_o swinish_a nature_n though_o before_o in_o outward_a appearance_n as_o clean_o as_o the_o sheep_n be_v yet_o she_o go_v again_o to_o her_o wallow_n in_o the_o mire_n there_o may_v be_v the_o cast_v away_o of_o a_o man_n sin_n and_o yet_o no_o new_a creature_n wrought_v in_o he_o that_o i_o may_v show_v this_o to_o you_o take_v this_o example_n a_o man_n know_v to_o be_v as_o covetous_a a_o man_n as_o live_v he_o love_v his_o money_n as_o well_o as_o his_o god_n yet_o perchance_o this_o man_n be_v bring_v in_o danger_n of_o the_o law_n and_o must_v be_v hang_v for_o some_o misdemeanour_n commit_v this_o man_n to_o save_v his_o life_n will_v part_v with_o all_o he_o have_v what_o be_v his_o disposition_n change_v no_o not_o a_o whit_n he_o be_v as_o covetous_a as_o before_o he_o be_v the_o same_o man_n he_o do_v it_o to_o save_v his_o life_n the_o apostle_n speak_v heb._n 6.4_o it_o be_v impossible_a for_o those_o who_o be_v once_o enlighten_v and_o have_v taste_v of_o the_o heavenly_a gift_n and_o be_v make_v partaker_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n etc._n etc._n there_o be_v a_o supernatural_a work_n wrought_v in_o they_o and_o they_o have_v taste_v the_o good_a word_n of_o the_o lord_n they_o begin_v to_o have_v some_o hope_n and_o where_o we_o have_v another_o instance_n of_o this_o temporary_a believer_n you_o will_v think_v they_o seek_v in_o god_n in_o a_o good_a sort_n and_o in_o as_o good_a a_o manner_n as_o one_o can_v desire_v well_o but_o how_o do_v they_o seek_v he_o it_o be_v only_o upon_o occasion_n in_o time_n of_o affliction_n i_o will_v go_v and_o return_v to_o my_o place_n until_o they_o acknowledge_v the_o application_n of_o our_o redemption_n that_o justice_n shall_v not_o be_v swallow_v up_o of_o mercy_n but_o even_o as_o that_o woman_n 2_o king_n 4._o who_o have_v nothing_o to_o pay_v be_v threaten_v by_o her_o creditor_n to_o take_v away_o her_o two_o son_n to_o put_v they_o in_o prison_n so_o though_o we_o have_v nothing_o to_o pay_v the_o law_n be_v let_v loose_a upon_o we_o to_o
