heed_n not_o only_o that_o we_o do_v not_o abuse_v those_o sacrifice_n which_o the_o lord_n command_v by_o our_o evil_n do_v and_o perform_v of_o they_o but_o much_o more_o that_o we_o be_v not_o so_o bold_a at_o any_o time_n to_o offer_v unto_o the_o lord_n such_o sacrifice_n as_o be_v condemn_v in_o the_o word_n of_o god_n to_o offer_v with_o strange_a fire_n as_o nadab_n and_o abihu_n and_o such_o as_o paul_n call_v will-worship_n and_o christ_n call_v the_o invention_n of_o man_n for_o these_o the_o lord_n abhor_v use_v 2_o it_o condemn_v that_o bloody_a &_o beastly_a sacrifice_n of_o the_o papist_n who_o offer_v in_o mass_n christ_n daily_o for_o the_o quick_a and_o dead_a a_o horrible_a abuse_n of_o christ_n jesus_n for_o christ_n have_v by_o his_o own_o sufficient_a sacrifice_n of_o his_o body_n and_o blood_n on_o the_o cross_n appease_v his_o father_n anger_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o world_n and_o put_v a_o end_n to_o all_o these_o sacrifice_n and_o if_o they_o offer_v up_o christ_n in_o the_o mass_n for_o quick_a and_o dead_a than_o christ_n sacrifice_n be_v imperfect_a that_o must_v be_v patch_v up_o with_o that_o abominable_a idol_n concern_v these_o sacrifice_n which_o be_v lamb_n sheep_n goat_n or_o bullock_n and_o be_v all_o slay_v &_o offer_v to_o god_n in_o fire_n let_v we_o mark_v that_o they_o be_v all_o so_o many_o figure_n type_n and_o shape_n of_o that_o everlasting_a sacrifice_n of_o jesus_n christ_n which_o he_o offer_v upon_o the_o cross_n in_o his_o own_o person_n doctrine_n sacrifice_n christ_n a_o end_n of_o all_o other_o sacrifice_n then_o this_o do_v commend_v unto_o we_o that_o bless_a and_o most_o meritorious_a sacrifice_n of_o christ_n the_o lamb_n of_o god_n see_v there_o be_v so_o many_o prophecy_n of_o it_o even_o from_o the_o begin_n of_o the_o world_n and_o so_o many_o shadow_n and_o type_n of_o it_o as_o can_v not_o be_v number_v because_o there_o never_o pass_v one_o day_n among_o the_o jew_n from_o the_o time_n of_o the_o law_n till_o christ_n come_n but_o they_o offer_v at_o least_o morning_n and_o evening_n sacrifice_n as_o shadow_n of_o christ_n jesus_n to_o come_v and_o the_o people_n of_o god_n the_o believe_a jew_n and_o holy_a father_n and_o prophet_n do_v in_o they_o behold_v jesus_n christ_n as_o slay_v and_o crucify_v before_o their_o eye_n and_o as_o christ_n say_v the_o holy_a patriarch_n and_o prophet_n and_o famous_a king_n desire_v to_o see_v my_o day_n and_o will_v be_v glad_a to_o see_v and_o yet_o see_v it_o not_o use_v well_o see_v the_o sacrifice_n of_o jesus_n christ_n be_v so_o excellent_a &_o meritorious_a of_o endless_a worth_n to_o procure_v god_n favour_n to_o we_o how_o shall_v we_o often_o think_v upon_o it_o never_o let_v it_o depart_v out_o of_o our_o mind_n and_o to_o this_o end_n we_o shall_v be_v more_o willing_a to_o approach_v and_o come_v to_o the_o supper_n of_o the_o lord_n that_o so_o there_o as_o it_o be_v in_o a_o plain_a table_n and_o picture_n and_o not_o paint_v on_o a_o wooden_a cross_n as_o the_o papist_n do_v we_o may_v behold_v christ_n crucify_v and_o his_o blood_n shed_v for_o our_o sin_n so_o often_o as_o we_o see_v the_o bread_n break_v and_o the_o wine_n pour_v out_o so_o often_o as_o you_o do_v it_o 11._o 1._o cor._n 11._o do_v it_o in_o remembrance_n of_o i_o to_o show_v forth_o my_o death_n till_o i_o come_v for_o the_o remembrance_n of_o christ_n sacrifice_n it_o be_v a_o sweet_a comfort_n to_o all_o wound_a and_o distress_a soul_n it_o be_v sack_n and_o sugar_n to_o they_o all_o that_o true_o believe_v in_o he_o it_o be_v a_o excellent_a mean_n to_o kill_v sin_n and_o to_o humble_v our_o hard_a heart_n that_o we_o shall_v remember_v our_o sin_n be_v as_o the_o bloody_a nail_n and_o the_o spear_n which_o put_v he_o to_o death_n and_o a_o powerful_a bridle_n to_o restrain_v we_o from_o sin_n because_o so_o often_o as_o we_o sin_n we_o do_v as_o it_o be_v pierce_v his_o heart_n afresh_o and_o as_o for_o those_o that_o care_v not_o for_o come_v to_o the_o sacrament_n nor_o yet_o for_o the_o word_n wherein_o christ_n be_v lively_o crucify_v they_o show_v they_o have_v no_o benefit_n by_o this_o sacrifice_n of_o christ_n verse_n 17._o 17._o the_o sacrifice_n of_o god_n be_v a_o contrite_a spirit_n a_o contrite_a and_o break_a heart_n o_o god_n thou_o will_v not_o despise_v david_n have_v show_v what_o be_v those_o sacrifice_n wherein_o the_o lord_n god_n have_v no_o pleasure_n namely_o such_o as_o man_n shall_v offer_v with_o hope_n to_o merit_n or_o without_o faith_n and_o sin_n wound_v and_o pierce_v with_o fear_n of_o god_n anger_n grieve_v for_o offend_v so_o merciful_a a_o god_n and_o love_a father_n and_o do_v beg_v for_o mercy_n at_o his_o hand_n as_o for_o life_n and_o death_n beside_o the_o endless_a mercy_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n which_o break_v the_o heart_n of_o a_o poor_a sinner_n so_o then_o there_o be_v two_o thing_n that_o wound_n and_o bruise_v the_o heart_n of_o sinner_n first_o the_o sight_n of_o sin_n and_o knowledge_n of_o our_o misery_n by_o reason_n thereof_o second_o the_o endless_a mercy_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n so_o as_o it_o cut_v we_o at_o the_o heart_n to_o remember_v that_o we_o have_v offend_v so_o good_a and_o merciful_a a_o father_n doctrine_n find_v break_a hart_n most_o rare_a thing_n to_o be_v find_v see_v this_o be_v that_o break_a heart_n which_o be_v thus_o bruise_v with_o the_o sight_n of_o sin_n and_o be_v humble_v for_o they_o yea_o have_v a_o most_o low_a conceit_n of_o itself_o as_o most_o vile_a and_o unworthy_a we_o shall_v see_v that_o it_o be_v a_o most_o rare_a thing_n to_o be_v find_v for_o general_o man_n be_v so_o blind_v
