countenance_n or_o credit_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o the_o world_n yet_o notwithstanding_o he_o obtain_v true_a righteousness_n will_v not_o lift_v up_o his_o eye_n to_o heaven_n c._n the_o meaning_n of_o chryste_n here_o to_o geve_v a_o general_n rule_n as_o though_o it_o be_v needful_a to_o cast_v down_o our_o eye_n towards_o the_o earth_n so_o often_o as_o we_o pray_v but_o have_v only_o give_v we_o here_o sign_n of_o humility_n the_o which_o virtue_n he_o commend_v unto_o his_o disciple_n and_o in_o this_o humility_n consist_v if_o so_o be_v we_o forget_v not_o our_o sin_n but_o in_o condempn_v ourselves_o prevent_v the_o judgement_n of_o god_n and_o do_v also_o confess_v our_o own_o unrighteousness_n that_o we_o may_v be_v reconcile_v unto_o god_n and_o to_o this_o end_n of_o mercy_n see_v that_o man_n which_o be_v give_v to_o cruelty_n by_o importunate_a call_n upon_o will_v yield_v the_o wicked_a and_o hard_a heart_a judge_n can_v not_o abide_v the_o importunate_a vengeance_n it_o signify_v also_o to_o restore_v a_o man_n to_o his_o right_n or_o to_o deliver_v from_o injury_n in_o the_o which_o sense_n also_o the_o latin_n use_v the_o word_n vindicare_fw-la which_o though_o it_o proper_o signyfi_v to_o revenge_n yet_o it_o be_v often_o use_v for_o to_o deliver_v from_o oppression_n or_o wrong_n but_o if_o a_o man_n will_v stand_v upon_o the_o interpretation_n and_o will_v expound_v it_o to_o revenge_n yet_o notwithstanding_o there_o can_v nothing_o be_v gather_v out_o of_o this_o parable_n but_o that_o which_o luke_n have_v put_v down_o in_o the_o first_o verse_n which_o be_v and_o he_o put_v forth_o unto_o they_o a_o parable_n to_o this_o end_n that_o man_n ought_v always_o to_o pray_v and_o not_o to_o be_v weary_a therefore_o we_o their_o oppressor_n and_o we_o must_v note_v that_o chryste_n applyinge_v this_o simillitude_n to_o his_o purpose_n do_v not_o make_v god_n like_a unto_o a_o wicked_a and_o cruel_a judge_n but_o show_v another_o manner_n of_o cause_n why_o god_n differ_v his_o faithful_a for_o a_o long_a time_n and_o do_v not_o reach_v out_o his_o hand_n at_o the_o first_o unto_o they_o namely_o because_o he_o be_v patient_a wherefore_o if_o at_o any_o time_n god_n suffer_v we_o to_o be_v oppress_v long_o than_o we_o will_v let_v we_o know_v that_o the_o same_o be_v dom_n by_o his_o fatherly_a counsel_n and_o wisdom_n to_o teach_v we_o patience_n &_o sufferance_n for_o the_o long_a sufferance_n of_o god_n towards_o the_o wicked_a be_v not_o a_o eternal_a and_o general_n quietus_n est_fw-fr
