a_o man_n will_v be_v reconcile_v unto_o his_o son_n easy_o and_o will_v spare_v his_o son_n though_o he_o be_v a_o prodigal_a yet_o a_o father_n will_v pass_v by_o and_o cover_v all_o so_o i_o pray_v to_o a_o father_n do_v i_o pray_v to_o a_o judge_n that_o will_v condemn_v i_o or_o a_o enemy_n that_o will_v not_o be_v reconcile_v to_o i_o little_a hope_n i_o have_v to_o speed_v because_o i_o god_n pity_v they_o that_o fear_v he_o he_o be_v my_o child_n say_v god_n though_o stubborn_a and_o i_o must_v look_v to_o he_o when_o a_o man_n rebellion_n witness_v against_o he_o and_o satan_n stranger_n but_o will_v go_v to_o his_o father_n so_o we_o pray_v to_o our_o father_n that_o be_v more_o willing_a to_o hear_v and_o grant_v than_o we_o be_v to_o ask_v 15._o luke_n 15._o i_o will_v brother_n as_o though_o he_o have_v never_o sin_v against_o he_o we_o say_v we_o forgive_v he_o but_o not_o forget_v he_o this_o be_v not_o to_o forgive_v but_o between_o who_o and_o i_o there_o be_v nothing_o to_o stop_v i_o that_o be_v to_o forgive_v he_o only_o remember_v this_o that_o a_o man_n do_v sin_n in_o some_o kind_n so_o that_o the_o lord_n do_v not_o require_v that_o a_o man_n shall_v forgive_v he_o as_o if_o a_o man_n that_o flatter_v i_o to_o my_o face_n and_o back_o bite_v i_o i_o be_o not_o bind_v to_o trust_v he_o again_o he_o that_o bear_v fire_n in_o one_o hand_n and_o water_n in_o another_o if_o he_o sin_n against_o i_o once_o god_n forgive_v he_o but_o if_o he_o sin_n against_o i_o the_o second_o time_n and_o i_o forgive_v he_o god_n forgive_v he_o and_o i_o when_o a_o man_n cheat_v i_o i_o will_v never_o trust_v he_o again_o till_o i_o see_v good_a and_o yet_o i_o forgive_v he_o when_o i_o be_o as_o willing_a to_o do_v he_o good_a as_o though_o he_o have_v never_o offend_v i_o and_o withal_o entreat_v the_o lord_n to_o pardon_v he_o if_o he_o have_v a_o lot_n in_o christ_n seek_v for_o the_o pardon_n of_o those_o sin_n whereby_o he_o have_v do_v we_o wrong_n this_o our_o saviour_n do_v father_n forgive_v they_o they_o know_v not_o what_o they_o do_v so_o also_o stephen_n act_v 7.12_o thus_o we_o shall_v do_v so_o far_o as_o it_o concern_v we_o whether_o be_v a_o man_n bind_v to_o forgive_v punishment_n to_o another_o quest_n quest_n as_o when_o one_o have_v steal_v any_o thing_n from_o we_o shall_v we_o not_o follow_v the_o law_n on_o not_o to_o forgive_v it_o but_o to_o punish_v it_o and_o a_o man_n shall_v sin_v deep_o in_o the_o neglect_n of_o it_o if_o one_o have_v murder_v another_o a_o man_n be_v bind_v to_o follow_v the_o law_n on_o he_o and_o to_o give_v he_o the_o punishment_n due_a to_o the_o fact_n how_o far_o may_v a_o man_n go_v in_o this_o case_n quest_n quest_n it_o appear_v in_o these_o particular_n first_o answ_n answ_n when_o all_o thing_n consider_v in_o all_o a_o man_n see_v it_o may_v do_v good_a than_o a_o man_n be_v bind_v to_o give_v punishment_n when_o there_o be_v nothing_o but_o a_o bridewell_n will_v do_v a_o servant_n good_a give_v it_o he_o when_o a_o child_n be_v stubborn_a give_v he_o correction_n and_o spare_v he_o not_o it_o be_v as_o good_a as_o his_o meat_n if_o a_o wretch_n belch_v out_o his_o malice_n if_o a_o man_n can_v reform_v he_o by_o punishment_n give_v it_o he_o for_o who_o know_v but_o it_o may_v be_v the_o best_a physic_n that_o ever_o he_o have_v and_o to_o let_v he_o go_v unpunished_a in_o such_o a_o case_n a_o man_n be_v guilty_a of_o his_o sin_n because_o he_o may_v have_v reform_v he_o by_o this_o mean_n second_o if_o this_o be_v a_o way_n and_o mean_n to_o bind_v a_o man_n hand_n and_o to_o hinder_v he_o from_o the_o practice_n of_o some_o sin_n as_o if_o a_o persecutor_n intend_v to_o persecute_v another_o if_o a_o man_n have_v a_o suit_n of_o law_n against_o he_o he_o be_v bind_v to_o cast_v he_o into_o prison_n for_o it_o keep_v he_o from_o persecute_v the_o saint_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o so_o from_o sin_v deep_o it_o be_v a_o work_n of_o mercy_n to_o take_v a_o knife_n from_o a_o mad_a man_n so_o to_o bind_v such_o a_o man_n hand_n that_o do_v so_o if_o god_n put_v forth_o a_o opportunity_n into_o a_o man_n hand_n he_o be_v bind_v to_o take_v the_o law_n and_o it_o be_v mercy_n to_o he_o thus_o to_o do_v three_o when_o a_o man_n can_v otherwise_o maintain_v his_o own_o honour_n or_o life_n or_o some_o other_o particular_a good_a for_o the_o take_n off_o of_o his_o own_o wrong_n a_o man_n be_v bind_v in_o justice_n to_o take_v punishment_n on_o such_o a_o one_o as_o thus_o if_o he_o shall_v raise_v a_o false_a report_n on_o a_o man_n it_o be_v not_o a_o work_n of_o tyranny_n but_o a_o work_n of_o mercy_n he_o ought_v to_o right_v his_o own_o wrong_n that_o be_v do_v unto_o he_o by_o punishment_n be_v not_o bind_v to_o be_v mealiemouthed_a but_o to_o make_v those_o black-mouthed_a wretch_n know_v to_o other_o that_o they_o may_v not_o dare_v to_o bring_v a_o scandal_n upon_o the_o glorious_a gospel_n of_o christ_n nor_o on_o the_o professor_n thereof_o thus_o a_o man_n must_v do_v and_o yet_o forgive_v a_o man_n for_o all_o this_o if_o his_o good_a or_o i_o or_o the_o profession_n of_o the_o gospel_n may_v be_v further_v hereby_o this_o shall_v be_v and_o thus_o a_o man_n may_v go_v to_o law_n in_o these_o case_n and_o the_o like_a now_o we_o come_v to_o the_o force_n of_o the_o argument_n how_o be_v this_o a_o argument_n to_o prevail_v with_o god_n to_o forgive_v we_o quest_n quest_n because_o we_o forgive_v other_o where_o lie_v the_o force_n of_o the_o argument_n what_o virtue_n be_v there_o in_o this_o it_o lie_v in_o 3._o particular_n and_o it_o be_v a_o special_a mean_n to_o obtain_v mercy_n answ_n answ_n lord_n i_o forgive_v other_o therefore_o forgive_v thou_o i_o first_o all_o the_o mercy_n i_o have_v it_o be_v not_o first_o in_o myself_o it_o be_v but_o a_o river_n and_o spring_n come_v from_o the_o sea_n but_o mercy_n be_v first_o in_o thyself_o the_o i_o that_o thou_o owe_v i_o now_o when_o the_o master_n of_o that_o servant_n hear_v of_o it_o he_o say_v oh_o thou_o wretch_n do_v thou_o deal_v thus_o with_o he_o when_o i_o deal_v so_o favourable_o with_o thou_o and_o if_o a_o sinner_n must_v forgive_v his_o fellow_n brother_n seventy_o seven_o time_n how_o much_o more_o the_o lord_n the_o god_n of_o mercy_n if_o he_o that_o have_v but_o some_o mercy_n receive_v from_o the_o fountain_n much_o more_o the_o lord_n the_o fountain_n itself_o second_o as_o we_o have_v not_o from_o ourselves_o but_o from_o god_n so_o also_o that_o we_o have_v be_v mix_v with_o a_o great_a deal_n of_o spleen_n though_o some_o compassion_n yet_o mingle_v with_o a_o great_a
