place_n to_o teach_v we_o above_o all_o thing_n to_o take_v heed_n unto_o the_o manner_n of_o our_o action_n that_o we_o content_v not_o ourselves_o with_o the_o outward_a matter_n of_o god_n worship_n and_o service_n but_o especial_o to_o look_v into_o our_o heart_n that_o we_o come_v unto_o they_o in_o true_a faith_n sound_a repentance_n and_o holy_a obedience_n for_o this_o be_v that_o that_o will_v cause_v the_o lord_n to_o approve_v of_o all_o we_o do_v in_o his_o service_n as_o the_o mite_n of_o the_o poor_a widow_n be_v account_v a_o marvelous_a great_a gift_n with_o our_o remorse_n of_o conscience_n without_o the_o sense_n and_o feel_n of_o sin_n or_o want_v of_o mercy_n this_o david_n and_o the_o rest_n of_o god_n servant_n know_v by_o woeful_a experience_n that_o if_o they_o have_v dye_v without_o repentance_n they_o have_v perish_v of_o all_o disease_n they_o be_v most_o dangerous_a that_o be_v least_o feel_v as_o a_o lethargy_n or_o dead_a palsy_n or_o the_o like_a so_o it_o be_v a_o most_o fearful_a estate_n for_o any_o man_n to_o lie_v in_o sin_n without_o the_o feel_n of_o it_o for_o â—â—at_n be_v a_o sign_n that_o the_o heart_n be_v harden_v in_o of_o god_n mercy_n of_o all_o man_n they_o be_v most_o to_o be_v pity_v they_o be_v in_o a_o most_o dangerous_a estate_n and_o condition_n and_o therefore_o we_o see_v that_o it_o be_v a_o great_a blessing_n of_o god_n to_o be_v tell_v of_o our_o sin_n and_o to_o be_v reprove_v for_o they_o that_o so_o see_v they_o and_o the_o danger_n into_o which_o they_o have_v plunge_v our_o poor_a soul_n make_v our_o punishment_n answerable_a to_o tyrus_n &_o sydon_n yea_o to_o sodom_n &_o gomer_n yea_o their_o judgement_n shall_v be_v light_a than_o we_o as_o our_o saviour_n say_v 16.46.53_o mat._n 11.20.21_o ezech._n 16.46.53_o it_o shall_v be_v easy_a for_o sodom_n in_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n then_o for_o you_o and_o the_o lord_n by_o the_o prophet_n ezechiel_n threaten_v thus_o that_o preach_v and_o teach_v among_o we_o almost_o these_o threescore_o year_n together_o now_o let_v we_o see_v whether_o our_o case_n be_v not_o like_o the_o state_n of_o gilead_n they_o be_v grievous_a sinner_n so_o be_v we_o among_o they_o be_v find_v many_o great_a and_o grievous_a sin_n a_o city_n that_o abound_v with_o all_o manner_n of_o iniquity_n as_o swear_v lie_a deceit_n murder_n to_o comfort_v our_o distress_a soul_n and_o in_o very_a deed_n if_o we_o consider_v god_n deal_v towards_o we_o we_o may_v see_v that_o these_o black_a stormy_a day_n be_v draw_v on_o do_v not_o the_o lord_n pick_v out_o from_o among_o we_o the_o most_o renown_a man_n from_o church_n and_o common_a wealth_n the_o pillar_n of_o the_o church_n and_o stay_v of_o religion_n do_v not_o the_o lord_n even_o by_o this_o mean_n give_v we_o a_o fair_a warning_n that_o unless_o we_o amend_v and_o become_v sincere_a christian_n and_o be_v zealous_a in_o his_o service_n and_o worship_n and_o more_o high_o
