place_n 10_o 2._o cor._n 4_o 10_o and_o namely_o to_o the_o corinthian_n as_o touch_v the_o bear_n of_o the_o cross_n after_o which_o follow_v the_o participation_n of_o eternal_a life_n newness_n of_o life_n must_v be_v follow_v after_o of_o christian_n the_o whole_a course_n of_o their_o whole_a life_n for_o if_o they_o ought_v to_o represent_v in_o themselves_o by_o the_o mortification_n of_o the_o flesh_n the_o image_n of_o christ_n and_o life_n of_o the_o spirit_n that_o must_v be_v do_v once_o for_o all_o but_o this_o must_v continue_v still_o not_o as_o though_o the_o flesh_n be_v mortify_v in_o we_o in_o a_o moment_n but_o because_o we_o must_v not_o revolt_v or_o go_v back_o in_o mortify_v the_o flesh_n for_o if_o we_o turn_v back_o unto_o our_o filthiness_n we_o deny_v christ_n 8.10_o ro._n 8.10_o of_o who_o we_o can_v be_v partaker_n but_o by_o newness_n of_o life_n 111_o god_n be_v not_o the_o author_n of_o sin_n although_o god_n give_v the_o first_o move_v in_o the_o end_n to_o his_o glory_n and_o the_o benefit_n of_o his_o elect_a as_o we_o see_v in_o the_o persecution_n of_o the_o wicked_a and_o the_o infirmity_n of_o the_o godly_a 19.9_o ps_n 19.9_o yet_o be_v he_o by_o no_o mean_n to_o be_v charge_v as_o the_o author_n and_o cause_n of_o sin_n and_o evil_n when_o it_o please_v the_o almighty_a to_o show_v forth_o his_o infinite_a power_n wisdom_n &_o goodness_n in_o the_o creation_n of_o thing_n visible_a and_o invisible_a bodily_a and_o spiritual_o it_o please_v he_o for_o the_o illustration_n and_o set_v forth_o of_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o goodness_n to_o ordain_v that_o evil_a shall_v proceed_v out_o of_o the_o freewill_n of_o his_o reasonable_a creature_n and_o this_o his_o ordinance_n be_v good_a for_o although_o evil_a be_v naught_o and_o curse_a be_v he_o that_o say_v evil_a be_v good_a 5.20_o esay_n 5.20_o yet_o that_o there_o shall_v be_v evil_a which_o be_v god_n ordinance_n it_o be_v excellent_a good_a the_o shine_v in_o contrary_n as_o to_o the_o intent_n that_o the_o beauty_n and_o glory_n of_o light_n shall_v be_v see_v and_o know_v to_o be_v such_o as_o it_o be_v he_o have_v ordain_v darkness_n for_o if_o he_o have_v create_v light_a to_o be_v perpetual_a without_o any_o change_n of_o darkness_n how_o have_v it_o be_v possible_a for_o man_n although_o live_v in_o the_o light_n to_o have_v know_v the_o excellency_n of_o light_n and_o so_o shall_v god_n have_v be_v defraud_v of_o the_o glory_n of_o so_o beautiful_a profitable_a and_o comfortable_a a_o creature_n therefore_o even_o as_o by_o darkness_n we_o learn_v how_o to_o esteem_v light_n and_o by_o bitter_a that_o which_o be_v sweet_a and_o every_o other_o thing_n by_o his_o contrary_n even_o so_o by_o the_o deformity_n of_o evil_a we_o be_v teach_v how_o great_a be_v the_o excellent_a comeliness_n of_o that_o which_o be_v good_a and_o so_o the_o ordinance_n of_o god_n that_o there_o shall_v be_v evil_a be_v perfect_a good_a 112_o god_n can_v be_v account_v the_o cause_n of_o sin_n that_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n mercy_n may_v appear_v in_o the_o salvation_n of_o his_o elect_a and_o his_o justice_n in_o the_o condemnation_n of_o the_o reprobate_n 9.22.23_o ro._n 9.22.23_o it_o be_v necessary_a that_o there_o shall_v be_v evil_a and_o so_o necessary_a that_o otherwise_o there_o shall_v have_v be_v no_o
