it_o rest_v not_o only_o upon_o the_o power_n of_o god_n though_o these_o be_v two_o chief_a pillar_n of_o our_o faith_n also_o but_o especial_o and_o chief_o it_o rest_v upon_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n in_o christ._n

as_o the_o faithful_a again_o see_v the_o scripture_n and_o look_v to_o that_o perfection_n that_o be_v require_v therein_o look_v to_o the_o progress_n and_o increase_n of_o faith_n that_o be_v require_v therein_o and_o see_v on_o the_o other_o side_n their_o great_a want_n how_o far_o we_o be_v from_o this_o progress_n how_o be_v it_o possible_a but_o the_o soul_n must_v doubt_v again_o lay_v aside_o this_o trial_n and_o look_v down_o upon_o our_o behaviour_n to_o these_o sin_n that_o be_v in_o our_o flesh_n and_o to_o the_o lust_n whereunto_o our_o heart_n be_v incline_v and_o to_o the_o angry_a face_n of_o god_n against_o sin_n how_o be_v it_o possible_a but_o we_o must_v doubt_v therefore_o i_o conclude_v there_o be_v never_o a_o servant_n of_o god_n but_o in_o their_o soul_n they_o have_v this_o doubt_v look_v on_o themselves_o they_o doubt_v look_v on_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n jesus_n they_o believe_v that_o notable_a vessel_n acknowledge_v himself_o to_o goodness_n and_o kindness_n as_o i_o have_v find_v in_o my_o particular_a in_o this_o god_n of_o i_o i_o turn_v not_o so_o soon_o unto_o he_o and_o the_o tear_n distil_v not_o so_o soon_o from_o my_o eye_n but_o he_o accept_v my_o person_n he_o grant_v my_o health_n and_o promise_v i_o his_o favourable_a and_o merciful_a protection_n all_o the_o rest_n of_o my_o day_n how_o be_o i_o able_a to_o if_o any_o of_o these_o effect_n be_v but_o in_o a_o small_a measure_n you_o may_v be_v sure_a that_o christ_n dwell_v in_o your_o heart_n by_o faith_n and_o that_o the_o soul_n live_v you_o that_o feel_v this_o as_o i_o will_v that_o you_o all_o feel_v it_o press_v to_o nourish_v and_o strengthen_v this_o life_n not_o weary_a in_o well_o do_v but_o go_v forward_o in_o work_v the_o work_n of_o
