communion_n of_o the_o sick_a for_o as_o much_o as_o all_o mortal_a man_n be_v subject_a to_o many_o sudden_a peril_n disease_n and_o sickness_n and_o ever_o uncertain_a what_o time_n they_o shall_v depart_v out_o of_o this_o life_n therefore_o to_o the_o intent_n they_o may_v be_v always_o in_o a_o readiness_n to_o die_v whensoever_o it_o shall_v please_v almighty_a god_n to_o call_v they_o the_o curate_n shall_v diligent_o from_o time_n to_o time_n but_o special_o in_o the_o plague_n time_n exhort_v their_o parishioner_n to_o the_o oft_o receive_v in_o the_o church_n of_o the_o holy_a communion_n of_o the_o body_n and_o blood_n of_o our_o saviour_n christ_n which_o if_o they_o do_v they_o shall_v have_v no_o cause_n in_o their_o sudden_a visitation_n to_o be_v unquiet_a for_o lack_v of_o the_o same_o but_o if_o the_o sick_a person_n be_v not_o able_a to_o come_v to_o the_o church_n and_o yet_o be_v desirous_a to_o receive_v the_o communion_n in_o his_o house_n then_o he_o must_v give_v knowledge_n over_o night_n or_o else_o early_o in_o the_o morning_n to_o the_o curate_n signify_v also_o how_o many_o be_v appoint_v to_o communicate_v with_o he_o 1_o b._n of_o edw._n 6._o and_o if_o the_o same_o day_n there_o be_v a_o celebration_n of_o the_o holy_a communion_n in_o the_o church_n w_n then_o shall_v the_o priest_n reserve_v at_o the_o open_a communion_n so_o much_o of_o the_o sacrament_n of_o the_o body_n and_o blood_n as_o shall_v serve_v the_o sick_a person_n and_o so_o many_o as_o shall_v communicate_v with_o he_o if_o there_o be_v any_o and_o so_o soon_o as_o convenient_o he_o may_v after_o the_o communion_n end_v in_o the_o church_n shall_v go_v and_o minister_v the_o same_o first_o to_o those_o that_o be_v appoint_v to_o communicate_v with_o the_o sick_a if_o there_o be_v any_o and_o last_v of_o all_o to_o the_o sick_a person_n himself_o but_o before_o the_o curate_n distribute_v the_o holy_a communion_n the_o appoint_a general_a confession_n must_v be_v make_v in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o communicant_n the_o curate_n add_v the_o absolution_n with_o the_o comfortable_a sentence_n of_o scripture_n follow_v in_o the_o open_a communion_n and_o after_o the_o communion_n end_v the_o collect._n almighty_a and_o and_o everliving_a god_n we_o most_o hearty_o thank_v thou_o etc._n etc._n but_o if_o the_o day_n be_v not_o appoint_v for_o the_o open_a communion_n in_o the_o church_n than_o upon_o convenient_a warning_n give_v the_o curate_n shall_v come_v and_o visit_v the_o sick_a person_n aforenoon_n common_a prayer_n 1_o b._n of_o edw._n 6._o and_o have_v a_o convenient_a place_n in_o the_o sick_a man_n house_n where_o the_o curate_n may_v reverent_o minister_v and_o a_o good_a number_n to_o receive_v the_o communion_n with_o the_o sick_a person_n with_o all_o thing_n necessary_a for_o the_o same_o he_o shall_v there_o minister_v the_o holy_a communion_n and_o have_v a_o convenient_a place_n in_o the_o sick_a man_n house_n where_o he_o may_v reverent_o celebrate_v with_o all_o thing_n necessary_a for_o the_o same_o and_o not_o be_v otherwise_o let_v with_o the_o bublick_a service_n or_o any_o other_o just_a impediment_n he_o shall_v there_o celebrate_v the_o holy_a communion_n after_o such_o form_n and_o sort_n as_o hereafter_o be_v appoint_v the_o celebration_n of_o the_o holy_a communion_n for_o the_o sick_a
then_o i._n shall_v they_o call_v upon_o i_o say_v the_o lord_n but_o i_o will_v not_o hear_v they_o shall_v seek_v i_o early_o but_o they_o shall_v not_o find_v i_o and_o that_o because_o they_o hate_v knowledge_n and_o receive_v not_o the_o fear_n of_o the_o lord_n but_o abhor_v my_o counsel_n and_o despise_v my_o correction_n then_o shall_v it_o be_v to_o late_o to_o knock_v when_o the_o door_n shall_v be_v shut_v and_o to_o late_o to_o cry_v for_o mercy_n when_o it_o be_v the_o time_n of_o justice_n o_o terrible_a voice_n of_o most_o just_a judgement_n which_o shall_v be_v pronounce_v upon_o they_o when_o it_o shall_v be_v say_v unto_o they_o go_v you_o curse_v into_o the_o twenty-five_o fire_n everlasting_a which_o be_v prepare_v for_o the_o devil_n and_o his_o angel_n therefore_o brethren_n vi_o take_v we_o heed_v be_v time_n while_o the_o day_n of_o salvation_n last_v for_o the_o night_n come_v ix_o when_o none_o can_v work_v but_o let_v we_o while_o we_o have_v the_o light_n believe_v in_o the_o light_n and_o walk_v as_o the_o child_n of_o the_o light_n that_o we_o be_v not_o cast_v into_o the_o utter_a darkness_n where_o be_v weep_v and_o gnash_n of_o tooth_n let_v we_o not_o abuse_v the_o goodness_n of_o god_n which_o twenty-five_o call_v we_o merciful_o to_o amendment_n and_o of_o his_o endless_a pity_n promise_v we_o forgiveness_n of_o that_o which_o be_v past_a if_o with_o a_o whole_a mind_n and_o true_a heart_n we_o return_v unto_o he_o for_o though_o our_o sin_n be_v as_o red_a as_o scarlet_a they_o shall_v be_v as_o white_a as_o snow_n and_o though_o they_o be_v like_o purple_a yet_o shall_v they_o be_v as_o white_a as_o wool_n turn_v you_o i._n xxviii_o clean_o say_v the_o lord_n from_o all_o your_o wickedness_n and_o your_o sin_n shall_v not_o be_v your_o destruction_n cast_v away_o from_o you_o all_o your_o ungodliness_n that_o you_o have_v do_v make_v you_o new_a heart_n and_o a_o new_a spirit_n wherefore_o will_v you_o make_v i_o hear_v of_o joy_n and_o gladness_n that_o the_o bone_n which_o thou_o have_v break_v may_v rejoice_v turn_v thy_o face_n from_o my_o sin_n and_o put_v out_o all_o my_o mis-deed_n make_v i_o
