and_o it_o be_v well_o for_o we_o that_o it_o be_v so_o for_o this_o sin_n be_v root_v as_o it_o be_v in_o our_o very_a bone_n in_o so_o much_o that_o if_o god_n tell_v we_o not_o that_o he_o can_v away_o with_o idolatry_n and_o that_o he_o wound_v we_o not_o with_o that_o threat_n there_o be_v none_o of_o we_o all_o which_o will_v not_o forge_v infinite_a idol_n to_o himself_o and_o by_o that_o mean_v the_o honour_n of_o y_fw-fr e_o living_n god_n shall_v be_v convey_v over_o unto_o our_o own_o imagination_n wherefore_o let_v we_o mark_v well_o that_o here_o we_o be_v convince_v to_o have_v a_o froward_a and_o curse_a nature_n which_o draw_v always_o to_o superstition_n and_o that_o it_o be_v requisite_a for_o we_o to_o be_v restrain_v after_o a_o violent_a manner_n for_o of_o our_o intentes_fw-la serve_v us._n for_o if_o there_o be_v any_o thing_n wherein_o man_n may_v excuse_v themselves_o by_o imagine_v that_o they_o do_v well_o it_o be_v in_o forge_v of_o idol_n for_o to_o &_o that_o just_o for_o as_o i_o have_v show_v afore_o it_o be_v a_o disguise_n of_o his_o majesty_n to_o make_v any_o visible_a image_n unto_o he_o therefore_o this_o text_n teach_v we_o to_o forbear_v to_o do_v the_o thing_n that_o seem_v good_a to_o ourselves_o and_o special_o that_o when_o god_n service_n come_v in_o question_n we_o must_v not_o attempt_v any_o thing_n upon_o our_o own_o head_n but_o in_o all_o simplicity_n follow_v that_o which_o he_o ordain_v by_o his_o word_n which_o tout_fw-fr put_v any_o thing_n at_o all_o thereto_o for_o look_v how_o soon_o we_o swerve_v always_o set_v this_o threat_n of_o god_n before_o our_o eye_n that_o we_o take_v not_o upon_o we_o to_o mingle_v any_o thing_n with_o his_o word_n or_o to_o devise_v any_o worship_v of_o image_n that_o be_v speak_v for_o it_o seem_v to_o be_v to_o no_o purpose_n that_o god_n shall_v promise_v to_o accept_v they_o for_o righteous_a which_o keep_v his_o law_n and_o yet_o notwithstanding_o needs_o see_v a_o great_a number_n of_o manifest_a example_n whereby_o we_o ought_v to_o take_v warning_n to_o live_v wary_o and_o advise_o we_o see_v how_o whole_a nation_n and_o country_n be_v not_o spare_v and_o we_o see_v the_o like_a in_o private_a person_n all_o be_v full_a of_o sigh_v and_o cry_v and_o it_o be_v all_o one_o as_o if_o god_n shall_v sound_v a_o trumpet_n to_o the_o punish_v of_o some_o offender_n that_o every_o man_n may_v be_v warn_v to_o take_v example_n by_o he_o we_o see_v these_o thing_n but_o how_o do_v we_o benefit_n ourselves_o by_o they_o let_v we_o not_o our_o fault_n we_o shall_v â—t_z leastwise_o prevent_v his_o anger_n and_o see_v there_o be_v so_o many_o that_o suffer_v yea_o and_o which_o suffer_v to_o serve_v for_o our_o instruction_n the_o same_o shall_v be_v as_o a_o school_n unto_o we_o that_o when_o we_o see_v our_o lord_n utter_v his_o rigour_n after_o that_o sort_n and_o show_v himself_o to_o be_v a_o judge_n we_o shall_v not_o tarry_v till_o he_o smite_v we_o on_o the_o head_n but_o come_v meek_o unto_o he_o acknowledge_v our_o fault_n and_o take_v good_a heed_n that_o we_o wrap_v not_o ourselves_o in_o his_o curse_n with_o those_o against_o who_o he_o have_v show_v himself_o such_o a_o enemy_n and_o adversary_n that_o be_v the_o thing_n which_o we_o have_v to_o bear_v in_o mind_n and_o moses_n say_v express_o beware_v be_v double_o condemn_v at_o god_n hand_n because_o our_o hypocrisy_n blind_v we_o and_o we_o look_v not_o into_o ourselves_o to_o correct_v our_o own_o misdoing_n moses_n therefore_o speak_v here_o express_o of_o the_o snare_n that_o the_o canaanite_n be_v fall_v into_o as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v whatsoever_o you_o see_v in_o any_o unbeliever_n be_v all_o one_o as_o if_o god_n warn_v you_o and_o show_v thyself_o a_o father_n towards_o we_o in_o adopt_v we_o and_o we_o lord_n likewise_o have_v follow_v the_o calling_n whereunto_o thou_o call_v we_o we_o have_v endeavour_v to_o show_v that_o thy_o bountiful_a liberality_n towards_o we_o be_v not_o utter_o misbestowed_a now_o therefore_o continue_v thou_o thy_o good_a do_v towards_o us._n to_o be_v short_a this_o case_n admit_v so_o and_o therefore_o god_n can_v well_o root_v we_o out_o of_o the_o world_n at_o this_o day_n and_o on_o the_o otherside_n he_o can_v well_o make_v the_o papist_n dumb_a and_o altogether_o senseless_a or_o else_o he_o can_v make_v they_o block_n or_o stone_n or_o else_o he_o can_v utterlie_o overwhelm_v they_o so_o as_o his_o name_n shall_v not_o be_v blaspheme_v by_o they_o and_o
