meat-offering_n and_o drink-offering_n and_o these_o be_v usual_o of_o wine_n as_o be_v evident_a numb_a 15.5_o and_o deut._n 32.37_o 38._o where_o be_v their_o god_n etc._n etc._n which_o do_v eat_v the_o fat_a of_o their_o sacrifice_n and_o drink_v the_o wine_n of_o their_o drink-offering_n and_o the_o offerer_n use_v first_o to_o drink_v some_o part_n of_o they_o and_o the_o rest_n they_o use_v to_o pour_v upon_o their_o sacrifice_n to_o which_o the_o apostle_n seem_v to_o allude_v in_o that_o 1_o cor._n 10_o 21._o you_o can_v drink_v of_o the_o cup_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o the_o cup_n of_o devil_n but_o what_o then_o be_v mean_v here_o by_o their_o drink-offering_n of_o blood_n i_o answer_v some_o think_v that_o thereby_o be_v mean_v sacrifice_n get_v by_o rapine_n and_o blood_n and_o other_o think_v that_o it_o be_v the_o blood_n of_o their_o slay_a sacrifice_n that_o be_v here_o call_v drink-offering_n of_o blood_n but_o because_o many_o writer_n testify_v that_o the_o heathen_n use_v to_o pour_v out_o drink-offering_n of_o the_o blood_n of_o man_n or_o because_o they_o use_v to_o pour_v the_o blood_n of_o the_o beast_n they_o slay_v upon_o their_o sacrifice_n which_o must_v needs_o be_v a_o abomination_n to_o the_o jew_n who_o may_v not_o eat_v any_o blood_n it_o seem_v most_o probable_a that_o these_o be_v the_o drink-offering_n of_o blood_n of_o which_o david_n here_o speak_v only_o we_o must_v remember_v that_o under_o this_o one_o particular_a he_o protest_v against_o have_v communion_n with_o they_o in_o any_o of_o their_o idol-service_n and_o that_o this_o he_o allege_v too_o as_o a_o argument_n to_o move_v god_n to_o preserve_v he_o to_o which_o purpose_n also_o the_o next_o clause_n be_v add_v nor_o take_v up_o their_o name_n into_o my_o lip_n for_o upon_o occasion_n whereof_o this_o psalm_n be_v compose_v &_o wherein_o it_o be_v unquestionable_o clear_a that_o god_n alone_o have_v save_v they_o by_o his_o almighty_a power_n as_o haply_o that_o
