know_v it_o their_o soul_n abhor_v all_o manner_n of_o wholesome_a meat_n how_o many_o be_v there_o that_o relish_n poet_n and_o history_n any_o trifle_n that_o do_v but_o feed_v their_o vain_a fancy_n and_o yet_o can_v relish_v the_o bless_a truth_n and_o ordinance_n of_o god_n where_o be_v spiritual_a life_n when_o this_o spiritual_a sense_n be_v go_v when_o man_n can_v relish_v holy_a thing_n if_o they_o relish_v the_o ordinance_n of_o god_n it_o be_v not_o the_o spiritual_a part_n of_o it_o so_o far_o as_o the_o spirit_n touch_v the_o conscience_n but_o something_o that_o it_o may_v be_v be_v suitable_a to_o their_o conceit_n expression_n or_o phrase_n or_o the_o like_a but_o it_o be_v a_o symptom_n and_o sign_n of_o a_o fearful_a decline_a state_n when_o man_n do_v not_o let_v they_o search_v the_o cause_n appetite_n and_o labour_n for_o purge_v sharp_a thing_n that_o may_v procure_v a_o appetite_n let_v they_o judge_v themselves_o and_o see_v what_o be_v the_o matter_n that_o they_o do_v not_o delight_v more_o in_o heavenly_a thing_n let_v they_o purge_v themselves_o by_o confession_n to_o god_n and_o consideration_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o labour_n to_o recover_v their_o appetite_n for_o it_o be_v almost_o a_o desperate_a estate_n they_o be_v at_o the_o gate_n of_o death_n especial_o now_o when_o we_o come_v to_o the_o communion_n what_o do_v we_o here_o if_o we_o can_v relish_v the_o food_n of_o our_o soul_n let_v we_o examine_v if_o we_o desire_v to_o taste_v the_o love_n of_o god_n and_o to_o be_v acquaint_v with_o god_n here_o if_o not_o distemper_n what_o shall_v we_o do_v in_o these_o spiritual_a distemper_n desire_v of_o god_n cry_v to_o god_n that_o he_o will_v forgive_v our_o sin_n and_o heal_v our_o soul_n by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n that_o he_o will_v make_v we_o more_o spiritual_a to_o relish_v heavenly_a thing_n better_a than_o we_o have_v do_v before_o that_o as_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v heavenly_a be_v better_o in_o their_o kind_n than_o other_o thing_n be_v so_o they_o may_v be_v better_o to_o our_o taste_n a_o man_n may_v know_v the_o judgement_n of_o his_o state_n when_o he_o answer_v not_o the_o difference_n of_o thing_n what_o the_o difference_n be_v between_o the_o food_n of_o life_n and_o ordinary_a food_n what_o the_o difference_n be_v between_o the_o comfort_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o other_o comfort_n between_o the_o riches_n and_o pelf_n of_o the_o world_n and_o the_o riches_n of_o the_o spirit_n the_o grace_n of_o god_n that_o will_v cause_v a_o man_n to_o live_v and_o die_v with_o comfort_n the_o true_a riches_n that_o make_v the_o soul_n rich_a to_o eternity_n there_o be_v no_o comparison_n beg_v of_o god_n this_o spiritual_a relish_n to_o discern_v of_o thing_n that_o differ_v that_o we_o may_v recover_v our_o appetite_n god_n by_o his_o word_n and_o spirit_n can_v do_v it_o not_o only_o the_o word_n write_v but_o the_o in_o ward_n spiritual_a word_n write_v in_o our_o heart_n desire_v god_n to_o join_v his_o spirit_n with_o his_o word_n and_o sacrament_n and_o that_o will_v recover_v our_o taste_n and_o make_v we_o spiritual_a that_o we_o shall_v relish_v he_o that_o be_v both_o the_o feastmaker_n and_o the_o feast_n itself_o he_o be_v both_o the_o meat_n and_o the_o provider_n of_o the_o banquet_n for_o whence_o be_v it_o that_o all_o other_o thing_n be_v
