their_o labour_n also_o this_o be_v god_n order_n first_o be_v humble_a and_o break_a and_o then_o he_o will_v revive_v your_o spirit_n with_o his_o presence_n 2._o cor._n 6._o 19_o come_v out_o from_o among_o they_o and_o touch_v no_o unclean_a thing_n then_o i_o will_v receive_v you_o and_o be_v a_o father_n to_o you_o in_o a_o word_n strive_v to_o enter_v in_o at_o the_o straight_a gate_n of_o contrition_n and_o humiliation_n and_o then_o you_o will_v hit_v the_o right_a way_n to_o christ_n and_o eternal_a life_n the_o ten_o book_n act_n 2._o 37._o and_o when_o they_o hear_v this_o they_o be_v prick_v in_o their_o heart_n and_o say_v unto_o they_o man_n and_o brethren_n what_o shall_v we_o do_v there_o be_v two_o thing_n especial_o observable_a in_o that_o disposition_n of_o as_o that_o he_o think_v he_o need_v not_o change_v or_o if_o he_o must_v he_o be_v so_o confident_a of_o his_o own_o ability_n that_o he_o can_v change_v himself_o and_o out_o of_o himself_o and_o out_o of_o his_o own_o strength_n relieve_v himself_o he_o will_v never_o go_v out_o to_o another_o for_o succour_n and_o supply_v contrition_n loosen_v a_o man_n from_o his_o sin_n make_v he_o see_v a_o absolute_a necessity_n to_o be_v another_o man_n or_o else_o he_o be_v a_o damn_a man_n humiliation_n loosen_v a_o man_n from_o himself_o make_v he_o see_v a_o
but_o when_o the_o vessel_n be_v now_o carry_v into_o the_o main_a ocean_n that_o it_o shall_v then_o founder_v in_o the_o wave_n or_o be_v overwhelm_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o the_o sea_n they_o be_v whole_o without_o sight_n of_o land_n or_o least_o hope_v of_o any_o relief_n there_o be_v no_o eye_n to_o 〈◊〉_d they_o in_o their_o misery_n and_o therefore_o none_o to_o pity_v they_o nor_o any_o
