for_o i_o thus_o you_o see_v the_o ground_n here_o be_v no_o time_n for_o application_n i_o shall_v add_v a_o four_o particular_a and_o that_o be_v this_o which_o will_v yet_o make_v the_o point_n more_o useful_a before_o i_o leave_v it_o what_o do_v god_n require_v of_o his_o people_n when_o he_o work_v such_o deliverance_n for_o they_o and_o how_o shall_v the_o servant_n of_o the_o lord_n express_v their_o thankfulness_n for_o such_o mercy_n when_o god_n do_v so_o and_o so_o rescue_v the_o life_n of_o his_o people_n first_o of_o all_o take_v heed_n that_o we_o neither_o forget_v the_o mercy_n nor_o the_o god_n of_o the_o mercy_n i_o say_v forget_v not_o the_o mercy_n nor_o the_o god_n of_o the_o mercy_n we_o be_v very_o apt_a to_o look_v upon_o our_o mercy_n with_o a_o slight_a of_o we_o do_v god_n remember_v we_o in_o low_a condition_n and_o shall_v we_o forget_v he_o shall_v we_o forget_v he_o when_o he_o have_v raise_v we_o up_o will_v not_o this_o be_v horrible_a to_o express_v thankfulness_n have_v god_n give_v we_o life_n let_v we_o give_v it_o back_o again_o to_o he_o have_v god_n give_v we_o strength_n we_o shall_v give_v it_o back_o again_o to_o god_n we_o shall_v lay_v out_o all_o our_o strength_n for_o
god_n before_o the_o soul_n have_v try_v he_o before_o he_o have_v have_v experience_n this_o be_v a_o honour_n a_o great_a honour_n that_o be_v do_v to_o god_n and_o this_o be_v the_o faith_n that_o will_v hold_v out_o this_o will_v last_v this_o kind_n of_o faith_n it_o will_v uphold_v the_o soul_n in_o the_o great_a strait_n in_o the_o low_a condition_n when_o sense_n fail_v and_o when_o experience_n be_v go_v out_o of_o sight_n why_o then_o this_o kind_n of_o faith_n will_v hold_v up_o the_o soul_n when_o the_o soul_n can_v trust_v the_o lord_n though_o he_o have_v not_o try_v he_o trust_v he_o though_o god_n have_v not_o give_v experience_n trust_v he_o first_o of_o all_o because_o of_o his_o word_n because_o of_o the_o word_n of_o his_o grace_n that_o be_v give_v forth_o to_o the_o soul_n as_o a_o foundation_n to_o build_v upon_o this_o be_v a_o honour_n indeed_o to_o god_n second_o be_v careful_a throughout_o all_o your_o 2._o caution_n 2._o whole_a course_n of_o life_n that_o you_o rely_v more_o upon_o the_o word_n of_o the_o lord_n then_o upon_o your_o experience_n throughout_o the_o whole_a course_n of_o your_o life_n you_o will_v find_v this_o more_o beneficial_a to_o rely_v upon_o the_o word_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o here_o i_o beseech_v you_o to_o remember_v that_o this_o life_n it_o be_v the_o life_n of_o faith_n it_o be_v the_o life_n of_o faith_n and_o not_o the_o life_n of_o sense_n in_o heaven_n the_o saint_n shall_v live_v by_o sense_n they_o shall_v have_v no_o need_n of_o faith_n the_o life_n of_o faith_n be_v not_o proper_a for_o they_o but_o the_o life_n of_o faith_n be_v proper_a to_o god_n people_n on_o earth_n to_o believe_v and_o not_o see_v faith_n be_v the_o evidence_n of_o thing_n nâ—t_v see_v it_o be_v take_v up_o with_o thing_n not_o see_v i_o say_v this_o life_n it_o shall_v be_v a_o life_n of_o faith_n unto_o the_o saint_n it_o be_v not_o a_o life_n of_o sense_n and_o consider_v moreover_o if_o god_n do_v give_v any_o spiritual_a sense_n or_o if_o he_o do_v give_v any_o experience_n of_o his_o love_n it_o be_v give_v for_o this_o end_n that_o so_o he_o may_v help_v the_o faith_n of_o his_o people_n that_o he_o may_v help_v their_o faith_n and_o strengthen_v their_o faith_n that_o so_o he_o may_v encourage_v they_o for_o the_o future_a to_o trust_v in_o he_o to_o trust_v in_o he_o when_o they_o see_v he_o not_o when_o all_o be_v dark_a and_o sad_a when_o god_n seem_v to_o be_v out_o of_o sight_n i_o say_v god_n give_v encouragement_n for_o this_o end_n that_o so_o he_o may_v encourage_v they_o to_o believe_v and_o therefore_o it_o be_v that_o oftentimes_o he_o train_v up_o his_o people_n in_o this_o way_n he_o will_v strike_v the_o crutch_n out_o of_o their_o hand_n he_o will_v put_v they_o to_o and_o many_o time_n experience_n by_o which_o he_o will_v seal_v up_o his_o word_n and_o his_o grace_n to_o they_o yet_o it_o be_v a_o great_a mercy_n that_o god_n have_v give_v a_o word_n of_o promise_n to_o rely_v upon_o that_o be_v the_o great_a mercy_n in_o the_o world_n asurer_n foundation_n of_o hope_n and_o that_o which_o will_v stand_v a_o poor_a creature_n in_o stead_n when_o it_o be_v in_o the_o dark_a when_o all_o the_o sense_n will_v be_v in_o the_o dark_a and_o experience_n out_o of_o sight_n but_o then_o the_o word_n oâ—_n the_o lord_n will_v endure_v for_o ever_o and_o so_o then_o to_o have_v a_o word_n of_o grace_n to_o rely_v upon_o a_o word_n of_o promise_n this_o be_v the_o great_a mercy_n that_o god_n can_v show_v to_o poor_a creature_n my_o brethren_n if_o it_o be_v not_o for_o this_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o the_o soul_n shall_v be_v at_o any_o certainty_n though_o god_n have_v give_v never_o so_o many_o experience_n of_o his_o love_n though_o the_o soul_n have_v see_v and_o though_o it_o have_v feel_v and_o taste_v of_o love_n and_o though_o it_o have_v lie_v in_o the_o bosom_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o be_v refresh_v with_o his_o â—ove_n yet_o if_o the_o lord_n have_v not_o give_v a_o word_n of_o grace_n to_o rely_v upon_o aword_n of_o promise_n to_o rely_v upon_o it_o will_v be_v impossible_a but_o that_o â—t_a some_o time_n or_o other_o they_o will_v call_v all_o in_o question_n for_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o otherwise_o the_o soul_n shall_v be_v support_v in_o dark_a condition_n for_o why_o when_o the_o soul_n begin_v to_o look_v towards_o god_n why_o it_o be_v fill_v with_o the_o sense_n of_o his_o own_o vileness_n with_o the_o sense_n of_o his_o own_o unworthiness_n oh_o that_o â—s_v one_o of_o the_o great_a discovery_n that_o the_o lord_n make_v show_v the_o soul_n how_o vile_a it_o be_v in_o itself_o and_o therefore_o i_o say_v the_o soul_n be_v ready_a to_o question_v all_o all_o that_o god_n have_v do_v for_o it_o though_o it_o have_v see_v god_n walk_v in_o a_o way_n of_o love_n to_o he_o yet_o still_o oh_o it_o be_v too_o good_a for_o i_o too_o good_a for_o such_o a_o â—ile_a creature_n as_o i_o be_o again_o the_o desire_n of_o the_o soul_n be_v carry_v mighty_o after_o god_n when_o god_n come_v once_o to_o set_v his_o face_n towards_o heaven_n it_o be_v fill_v with_o vast_a desire_n to_o god_n that_o it_o can_v never_o have_v enough_o never_o be_v satisfy_v and_o though_o god_n do_v come_v and_o manifest_v himself_o by_o gracious_a experience_n yet_o still_o it_o desire_v more_o of_o god_n it_o be_v apt_a to_o question_v have_v i_o any_o thing_n of_o god_n or_o no_o have_v i_o see_v god_n or_o no_o it_o be_v very_o solicitous_a when_o it_o be_v once_o set_v towards_o heaven_n god_n make_v it_o very_o solicitous_a concern_v the_o great_a matter_n of_o eternity_n it_o be_v fill_v with_o the_o weighty_a thingsof_n eternity_n and_o the_o weighty_a business_n of_o eternity_n so_o though_o god_n have_v come_v and_o have_v speak_v and_o the_o soul_n have_v see_v god_n and_o experience_n of_o god_n yet_o because_o it_o apprehend_v such_o great_a weighty_a matter_n concern_v the_o soul_n for_o eternity_n all_o experience_n be_v call_v in_o question_n of_o god_n love_n and_o his_o favour_n to_o he_o a_o man_n be_v so_o careful_a in_o this_o case_n that_o he_o will_v scarce_o believe_v himself_o nay_o though_o he_o have_v see_v christ_n and_o though_o he_o have_v feel_v he_o and_o see_v his_o go_n still_o he_o will_v hardly_o believe_v himself_o whether_o he_o have_v see_v he_o or_o no_o you_o know_v mary_n magdalâ—u_n she_o be_v very_o solicitous_a she_o stand_v weep_v she_o see_v he_o and_o she_o will_v not_o believe_v she_o own_o sense_n and_o so_o it_o be_v with_o a_o poor_a child_n of_o god_n oh_o it_o be_v so_o solicitous_a that_o though_o it_o have_v see_v christ_n and_o experience_n of_o his_o goodness_n and_o his_o favour_n and_o love_n yet_o it_o will_v scarce_o believe_v his_o own_o sense_n and_o he_o be_v apt_a to_o call_v all_o in_o question_n whether_o he_o have_v see_v the_o lord_n or_o no_o so_o that_o still_o i_o say_v after_o all_o experience_n and_o the_o manifestation_n of_o love_n the_o soul_n will_v call_v all_o in_o question_n many_o and_o many_o a_o time_n if_o iâ—_n have_v not_o a_o word_n of_o grace_n to_o trust_v to_o and_o therefore_o the_o saint_n be_v more_o beholden_a to_o the_o lord_n for_o his_o word_n of_o gruce_n to_o they_o then_o for_o all_o experience_n and_o remember_v this_o that_o though_o god_n have_v do_v vever_o so_o much_o for_o you_o and_o you_o have_v see_v hiâ—_n go_n in_o your_o heart_n yet_o do_v not_o you_o make_v your_o experience_n the_o first_o ground_n oâ—_n your_o trust_n and_o do_v not_o trust_v to_o your_o experience_n so_o but_o look_v to_o the_o promise_n as_o thâ—_n promise_v as_o the_o only_a foundation_n that_o will_v â—ear_v up_o your_o heart_n for_o ever_o through_o all_o dark_a condition_n and_o so_o for_o experience_n look_v upon_o they_o as_o crutch_n to_o lead_v you_o to_o the_o word_n of_o his_o grace_n but_o they_o be_v not_o to_o be_v rest_v in_o the_o four_o sermon_n on_o dan_n iii_o xxv_o he_o answer_v and_o say_v lo_o
faith_n will_v make_v they_o present_a as_o thing_n new_a to_o come_v five_o mercy_n become_v helpful_a for_o the_o future_a when_o the_o soul_n be_v careful_a to_o keep_v up_o his_o communion_n with_o god_n when_o a_o man_n be_v careful_a to_o walk_v with_o god_n continual_o to_o fix_v his_o eye_n upon_o god_n and_o to_o follow_v god_n full_o in_o every_o thing_n to_o follow_v god_n wheresoever_o he_o lead_v he_o so_o long_o as_o god_n and_o the_o mercy_n be_v keep_v together_o there_o will_v be_v abundance_n of_o lustre_n and_o beauty_n in_o every_o mercy_n but_o when_o the_o soul_n be_v careless_a in_o maintain_v his_o communion_n with_o god_n it_o lose_v then_o the_o sense_n of_o all_o his_o goodness_n that_o former_o he_o taste_v in_o every_o mercy_n and_o they_o become_v useless_a even_o grace_n itself_o can_v comfort_v a_o man_n if_o god_n be_v not_o nigh_o if_o god_n by_o his_o spirit_n do_v not_o shine_v upon_o it_o and_o therefore_o mercy_n much_o less_o though_o they_o be_v never_o so_o great_a and_o precious_a mercy_n that_o a_o man_n have_v receive_v yet_o they_o can_v afford_v no_o present_a comfort_n nor_o be_v a_o support_n to_o he_o nor_o encouragement_n to_o wait_v upon_o god_n for_o the_o future_a but_o if_o so_o be_v god_n and_o the_o mercy_n be_v keep_v together_o than_o mercy_n become_v useful_a and_o a_o help_n to_o the_o soul_n to_o trust_v in_o god_n for_o the_o future_a six_o mercy_n be_v help_n for_o the_o future_a when_o as_o the_o soul_n be_v enable_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o prayer_n to_o urge_v god_n with_o former_a mercy_n and_o to_o lay_v they_o before_o the_o lord_n as_o engagement_n to_o help_v for_o the_o future_a there_o be_v such_o a_o improvement_n to_o be_v make_v of_o former_a mercy_n when_o god_n do_v pour_v a_o spirit_n of_o prayer_n upon_o his_o people_n and_o then_o and_o then_o only_o do_v mercy_n that_o be_v pass_v become_v a_o help_n to_o the_o soul_n or_o the_o future_a you_o shall_v see_v so_o the_o saint_n have_v urge_v this_o with_o god_n they_o have_v plead_v with_o god_n and_o put_v he_o in_o mind_n of_o his_o former_a kindness_n so_o you_o may_v see_v in_o the_o 51._o of_o isaiah_n about_o v._o 9_o awake_v awake_a put_v on_o strength_n oh_o aâ—m_n of_o the_o lord_n awake_v as_o in_o the_o ancient_a day_n etc._n etc._n and_o so_o in_o the_o 22._o psal_n the_o psalmist_n there_o do_v use_v the_o right_a argument_n witâ—_n god_n he_o turn_v former_a mercy_n into_o argument_n to_o engage_v god_n for_o the_o future_a in_o the_o 9_o &_o 10._o verse_n but_o thou_o be_v he_o that_o take_v i_o out_o of_o the_o womb_n thou_o do_v make_v i_o hope_v when_o i_o be_v upon_o my_o mother_n breast_n i_o be_v cast_v upon_o thou_o from_o the_o womb_n thou_o be_v my_o god_n from_o my_o mother_n belly_n thou_o be_v he_o that_o take_v care_n of_o i_o when_o i_o can_v not_o take_v care_n of_o myself_o and_o when_o the_o care_n of_o creature_n can_v do_v i_o no_o good_a without_o the_o care_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o see_v thou_o have_v do_v this_o for_o i_o i_o be_o still_o encourage_v to_o wait_v upon_o thou_o to_o trust_v in_o thou_o for_o future_a mercy_n thus_o you_o see_v when_o mercy_n and_o deliverance_n may_v be_v encouragement_n for_o the_o future_a and_o how_o the_o soul_n may_v make_v experience_n of_o they_o quest_n but_o you_o will_v say_v further_o how_o shall_v we_o look_v upon_o our_o mercy_n so_o as_o to_o make_v the_o best_a improvement_n of_o they_o to_o strengthen_v our_o faith_n in_o the_o lord_n for_o the_o future_a i_o answer_v brief_o first_o look_v upon_o they_o all_o as_o the_o first_o fruit_n which_o god_n have_v promise_v to_o you_o this_o will_v mighty_o help_v to_o strengthen_v the_o faith_n of_o the_o soul_n for_o the_o future_a how_o to_o make_v the_o best_a improvement_n of_o mercy_n to_o strengthen_v our_o faith_n in_o the_o lord_n for_o the_o future_a future_a look_v upon_o all_o as_o beginning_n of_o that_o which_o god_n do_v intend_v to_o do_v for_o his_o people_n as_o a_o spark_n of_o that_o flame_n of_o love_n that_o be_v in_o the_o bosom_n of_o god_n towards_o his_o people_n as_o drop_n of_o the_o ocean_n of_o love_n drop_n of_o those_o river_n that_o run_v at_o god_n right_a hand_n which_o he_o have_v reserve_v for_o his_o people_n i_o say_v look_v upon_o all_o mercy_n that_o you_o have_v receive_v as_o fruit_n of_o that_o which_o god_n have_v reserve_v in_o glory_n for_o his_o people_n and_o this_o will_v mighty_o help_v to_o strengthen_v faith_n for_o the_o future_a second_o look_v upon_o they_o all_o as_o stay_v that_o god_n have_v give_v staff_n to_o hold_v in_o your_o hand_n for_o the_o present_a all_o mercy_n all_o deliverance_n all_o sight_n of_o â—od_a all_o manifestation_n of_o his_o love_n all_o experience_n of_o his_o goodness_n i_o say_v look_v upon_o they_o as_o stay_v and_o crutch_n that_o god_n have_v give_v into_o your_o hand_n for_o the_o present_a to_o lean_v upon_o while_o you_o be_v in_o this_o your_o pilgrimage_n do_v not_o build_v upon_o they_o you_o can_v build_v upon_o the_o best_a of_o your_o experience_n do_v not_o lay_v they_o as_o the_o foundation_n but_o only_o look_v upon_o they_o as_o help_n in_o your_o way_n and_o so_o use_v they_o as_o help_v for_o the_o present_a that_o god_n give_v you_o that_o you_o may_v experience_n two_o thing_n premise_v and_o a_o caution_n how_o to_o rest_v upon_o former_a experience_n more_o cheerful_o go_v on_o to_o his_o self_n and_o to_o his_o son_n to_o the_o rest_n in_o he_o where_o there_o be_v everlasting_a peace_n and_o therefore_o here_o will_v i_o premise_v two_o thing_n and_o give_v you_o a_o caution_n how_o to_o rest_v upon_o former_a experience_n and_o so_o i_o shall_v end_v the_o point_n 1._o know_v this_o that_o it_o be_v possible_a that_o the_o soul_n may_v loose_v the_o sight_n of_o all_o his_o experience_n they_o may_v be_v all_o out_o of_o sight_n it_o be_v possible_a that_o a_o man_n may_v call_v they_o all_o in_o question_n the_o soul_n may_v be_v bring_v into_o such_o a_o sad_a condition_n into_o such_o a_o dark_a condition_n that_o it_o may_v call_v in_o question_n all_o that_o ever_o it_o have_v see_v of_o god_n and_o those_o very_a thing_n that_o he_o do_v take_v as_o some_o special_a token_n of_o love_n all_o manifestation_n give_v forth_o of_o himself_o all_o communication_n of_o his_o presence_n of_o his_o grace_n i_o say_v all_o these_o they_o may_v be_v darken_v out_o of_o sight_n or_o second_o though_o they_o may_v be_v in_o sight_n yet_o god_n do_v many_o time_n bring_v his_o people_n into_o such_o condition_n as_o their_o former_a experience_n can_v reach_v they_o god_n may_v come_v still_o with_o further_a and_o further_a trial_n and_o such_o trial_n i_o say_v that_o all_o a_o man_n former_a experience_n can_v reach_v they_o his_o trial_n and_o temptation_n may_v be_v above_o they_o all_o and_o therefore_o here_o take_v these_o two_o caution_n when_o as_o you_o be_v thus_o to_o follow_v experience_n and_o to_o make_v use_n of_o experience_n first_o of_o all_o take_v heed_n that_o you_o do_v not_o make_v your_o own_o experience_n the_o first_o ground_n of_o your_o trust_n make_v not_o i_o say_v any_o experience_n that_o you_o have_v have_v the_o first_o ground_n of_o your_o trust_n or_o confidence_n i_o say_v before_o experience_n be_v good_a help_n good_a crutch_n but_o they_o will_v make_v no_o foundation_n for_o the_o soul_n to_o build_v upon_o they_o be_v not_o the_o first_o foundation_n that_o be_v to_o be_v lay_v no_o you_o must_v learn_v to_o trust_n god_n when_o you_o see_v he_o not_o you_o must_v trust_v god_n before_o your_o trial_n for_o that_o be_v the_o most_o bless_a thing_n see_v what_o our_o saviour_n christ_n say_v concern_v thomas_n in_o that_o 20._o of_o joh._n 29._o jesus_n say_v to_o he_o thomas_n because_o thou_o have_v see_v thou_o have_v believe_v but_o bless_v be_v they_o that_o have_v not_o see_v and_o yet_o have_v believe_v the_o heart_n be_v so_o backward_o to_o faith_n that_o it_o be_v well_o if_o it_o be_v by_o any_o mean_n at_o last_o bring_v off_o to_o believe_v and_o therefore_o the_o lord_n have_v condescend_v to_o reveal_v himself_o to_o his_o people_n by_o experience_n but_o yet_o our_o saviour_n he_o say_v it_o be_v more_o bless_a to_o believe_v and_o not_o to_o see_v bless_a be_v they_o that_o belâ—eve_v and_o have_v not_o see_v this_o kind_n of_o faith_n be_v that_o which_o bring_v most_o glory_n to_o god_n to_o believe_v a_o man_n before_o he_o try_v he_o it_o be_v a_o great_a trust_n of_o he_o and_o so_o it_o be_v a_o honour_n put_v upon_o he_o now_o to_o believe_v in_o
there_o be_v not_o a_o thorough_a work_n of_o grace_n at_o this_o time_n wrought_v upon_o his_o heart_n many_o work_n he_o do_v but_o yet_o they_o seem_v to_o be_v effect_n of_o a_o temporary_a faith_n nebuchadnezzer_n notwithstanding_o all_o this_o he_o fall_v back_o again_o to_o his_o old_a way_n of_o supposition_n for_o in_o the_o four_o chapter_n you_o shall_v read_v there_o of_o his_o superstitious_a way_n he_o dream_v a_o dream_n and_o he_o fend_v for_o the_o sorcerer_n to_o tell_v his_o dream_n and_o he_o will_v have_v cut_v they_o off_o because_o they_o can_v not_o tell_v he_o and_o yet_o for_o the_o most_o part_n they_o be_v secure_a hard_a heart_a unbelieving_a people_n they_o be_v a_o burden_n to_o god_n and_o a_o provocation_n to_o his_o spirit_n all_o the_o time_n they_o be_v in_o the_o wilderness_n what_o miracle_n of_o judgmement_n do_v they_o see_v god_n smite_v some_o of_o they_o with_o fire_n from_o heaven_n and_o consume_v they_o god_n smite_v miriam_n with_o leprosy_n in_o the_o 12._o of_o number_n for_o her_o murmur_a and_o the_o lord_n consume_v corah_n dathan_n and_o abiram_n in_o number_n 16._o they_o be_v consume_v and_o yet_o the_o people_n angel_n food_n he_o give_v they_o water_n out_o of_o the_o rock_n moses_n smite_v the_o rock_n and_o the_o water_n come_v out_o he_o rain_v feather_v foul_a into_o their_o camp_n that_o they_o all_o eat_v and_o wâ—re_o full_a and_o many_o other_o miracle_n of_o mercy_n they_o see_v many_o mercy_n which_o be_v express_v in_o the_o 78._o psalm_n but_o notwithstanding_o for_o all_o this_o you_o may_v see_v what_o this_o people_n be_v at_o the_o 8._o verse_n of_o the_o 78._o psalm_n a_o stuborn_v and_o rebellious_a generation_n a_o generation_n that_o set_v not_o their_o heart_n aright_o and_o who_o spirit_n be_v not_o steadfast_a with_o god_n this_o be_v the_o description_n that_o be_v give_v of_o their_o forefather_n they_o be_v a_o stubborn_a generaâ—ion_n rebellious_a a_o generation_n that_o set_v not_o their_o heart_n aright_o and_o who_o spirit_n be_v not_o steadfast_a with_o god_n second_o as_o we_o have_v instance_n to_o prove_v it_o so_o we_o have_v the_o word_n ten_o thousand_o that_o shall_v not_o come_v there_o that_o seek_v to_o enter_v in_o their_o own_o way_n and_o by_o their_o own_o work_n and_o their_o own_o righteousness_n and_o they_o be_v all_o shut_v out_o though_o he_o shall_v further_o declare_v that_o god_n have_v now_o set_v heaven_n door_n wide_o open_a and_o that_o he_o be_v willing_a that_o poor_a sinner_n the_o worst_a of_o sinner_n shall_v come_v to_o he_o by_o his_o son_n and_o they_o shall_v be_v accept_v and_o all_o their_o former_a iniquity_n shall_v be_v no_o block_n no_o rub_n in_o the_o way_n he_o will_v embrace_v they_o as_o free_o as_o if_o they_o have_v never_o sin_v against_o he_o i_o say_v if_o such_o a_o thing_n shall_v be_v it_o will_v be_v a_o miracle_n of_o mercy_n but_o yet_o for_o all_o this_o it_o will_v not_o persuade_v the_o heart_n of_o one_o sinner_n to_o submit_v to_o god_n this_o can_v not_o overcome_v the_o heart_n of_o man_n to_o jesus_n christ_n and_o again_o on_o the_o other_o side_n if_o one_o shall_v come_v from_o the_o dead_a god_n shall_v send_v one_o from_o the_o pit_n of_o destruction_n to_o declare_v to_o bear_v witness_n of_o the_o unspeakable_a torment_n that_o be_v there_o and_o shall_v declare_v that_o way_n be_v broad_a and_o many_o walk_n in_o the_o way_n to_o destruction_n and_o that_o unbelief_n it_o be_v the_o ready_a way_n though_o he_o shall_v declare_v that_o every_o man_n and_o woman_n live_v that_o seek_v not_o after_o jesus_n christ_n and_o have_v not_o a_o interest_n in_o he_o be_v like_a soon_o or_o late_a to_o come_v into_o the_o same_o lake_n of_o condemnation_n it_o will_v be_v a_o tirrable_a miracle_n of_o judgement_n but_o yet_o all_o this_o will_v not_o work_v upon_o the_o heart_n of_o one_o sinner_n no_o our_o saviour_n say_v to_o such_o man_n and_o woman_n that_o sit_v under_o the_o gospel_n and_o hear_v what_o i_o speak_v from_o day_n to_o day_n and_o thereby_o be_v not_o wont_a to_o submit_v to_o god_n why_o neither_o will_v they_o believe_v though_o one_o shall_v come_v from_o the_o dead_a three_o the_o point_n may_v be_v further_o clear_v by_o our_o own_o experience_n i_o say_v by_o experience_n of_o our_o own_o day_n be_v there_o not_o many_o poor_a creature_n that_o have_v see_v miracle_n of_o mercy_n that_o have_v see_v god_n many_o time_n in_o wonderful_a way_n of_o deliverance_n towards_o they_o at_o such_o a_o time_n they_o be_v in_o
