XIX THe pleasant heaveÌ„s that are abâ— Gods glorie do declare The firmament doth also shew his handie work most rare verse 2 Day unto day through all the earth still uâ—treth speach aright And al 's the knowledge of the same night sheweth unto night verse 3 Among men there no language is nor any kinde of speach Wherein a most clear way their voice is not well heard to teach verse 4 Their line throgh all the earth is gone and al 's their words do run Unto the worlds end he in them a tent set for the Sun verse 5 Which as a bridgrome is that comes out from his chambers place And as a strong man doth rejoice most swift to run a race verse 6 From heav'ns end is his going forth his circuit al 's made meet Unto its end is and nothing can be hid from his heat verse 7 The law of God is most perfect converting Soules alwayes Gods testimony is right sure it makes the simple wise verse 8 The statutes of the Lord are rigâ—â— rejoicing heart and minde The Lords commandment is most 〈◊〉 inlightning eves most blind verse 9 The fear of God the Lord is cleaâ— enduring fast for ever The judgements of the Lord are 〈◊〉 and righteous altogether verse 10 They more to be desired are then gold yea much fine gold Then hony and the hony combe I sweeter do them hold verse 11 Moreover thy servant by them is warn'd to have regard And in the keeping of the same there is a great reward verse 12 Who among men can understanâ— what have his errours beene From my most vile and secret faultâ— in mercy make me cleane verse 13 Keep me so that presumptuous sins reigne not now over me Then upright I and innocent from the great sin shall be verse 14 The words al of my mouth thoghts that are within mine heart Accept O Lord who both my strength and my redeemer art PSAL. THe Lord thee hear even in the day when he doth troubles send The glorious name of Jacobs God in mercy thee defend verse 2 And from the Sanctuary send thee help by his good will And out of Sions holy place thee alwayes strengthen still Thy offrings all which thou dost bring let God remember now And also thy burnt sacrifice accept and well allow According also to thine heart thee grant things great or small And by his loving kindnesse al 's fulfill thy counsell all verse 5 In thy salvation wee 'l rejoice in our Gods Name we will Set up our banners high the LORâ— thy prayers all well fulfill verse 6 Now know I that the Lord doth even his Anointed dear With saving strength of his right from heav'n he will him heaâ— verse 7 In charets some and some like trust in their horses still But we all of the LORD our Gâ—â— the Name remember will verse 8 They are brought down fall rise and stand upright all verse 9 Lord save us let the King also now hear us when we call PSAL. XXI THE King in thy great strengâ—â— shall joy with heart and â— How in thy dear Salvation shall he greatly now rejoice verse 2 His hearts desire most lovinglie unto him giv'n thou hast And also hast not of his lips withholden the request verse 3 For with blessings of goodnesse him thou didst prevent with speed A crown of pure and finest gold thou settest on his head verse 4 He humblie asked life of thee and thou it gav'st yea more Even length of dayes aboundantly and that for evermore verse 5 In thy salvation now is great his glory by thine aid Both honour high and Majestie thou hast upon him laid verse 6 For thou for ever constantly most blessed hast him made Thou hast even with thy countenance him made exceeding glade verse 7 For in the Lord the King doth trust and through the mercy great Of the most High he shall not be once moved from his seat verse 8 Thy mighty hand shall find out thine en'mies round about Those that in malice still thee hate thy right hand shall finde out verse 9 Thou shalt them as a fiery oven make in thine anger sore The Lord them swallow shall in wâ— the fire shall them devore verse 10 Their fruit quite from the earth thou shalt destroy indeed And from among the sons of men their most ungodly seed verse 11 For they ' gainst thee intended a mischievous devise They did imagine but can not performe their enterprise verse 12 Therfore shalt thou make theÌ„ to their back with great disgrace When thou shalt arrows on thy strâ— make ready ' gainst their face verse 13 In thine

XXVI â—Udge me O Lord for walk'd I have in mine integrity I trusted al 's have in the Lord therefore slide shall not I. verse 2 Examine me O LORD and al 's me prove in every part Try thou like wise most narrowly my reins and al 's my heart verse 3 For thy most loving kindnesse is alwayes before mine eyes And in thy truth I constantly have walked thee to please verse 4 With persons vaine I surely have not sit in companie Nor will I once go with those meâ— that false dissemblers be verse 5 Of ill doers I hated have the congregation great With wicked men in companie at all I will not sit verse 6 I carefully will wash mine hanâ— in innocency still So I thine Altar with respect O LORD now compasse will That I may publish with the voice of thanks most heartilie And tell of all the wondrous works that have been done by thee The habitation of thy house LORD I have loved well And also the most glorious place where doth thine honour dwell O gather not my soul with those that grievous sinners be Nor yet my life likewise with men whom bloody still we see verse 10 In whose most cruel hands alwayes mischief is ever still And their right hand against all right great bribes do alwayes fill verse 11 Put as for me I will now walk in mine integritie Redeeme thou me and of thy grace be mercifull to me verse 12 In an even place my fixed foot most stedfast standeth still Even in the congregations great the LORD now blesse I will PSAL. LXXV TO thee O God do we give thaâ— we doe give thankes thee â—or that thy wondrous works declare thy great Name neer to be When I the congregation great to govern shall receive â— all affaires as Judge I will me uprightly behave The earth and the inhabitants that in the same appeare â—â—gether now dissolved are its pillars I up bear I surely said unto the fools Deal not thus foolishly â—â—d to the wicked men also Lift not the horn so hie Lift ye not up your horn on high speak not with stiffe neck thus For not from th' east nor from the west nor south promotion is But God 's the Iudge he puts down one and sets another up For in the hand ev'n of the Lord of red wine is a cup. LXXVIII MY people now attentive ear give to my law divine And to the words al 's of my mouth see ye your eares incline verse 2 My mouth a parable shall speak and sayings dark of old verse 3 Which we they by asking meat for their most filthie lust verse 19 Yea they against GOD foolishly spake with unthankfulnesse Can GOD a table furnish us ev'n in the wildernesse verse 20 The rock he smote loe waters out gush'd streams ov'rflow'd afresh Can he give bread also can he provide his people flesh verse 21 GOD heard this therefore was â— wroâ—â— a fire ' gainst Jacob so Was kindled and great wrath came â— against Isral also verse 22 Because they foolish not beleev'd in GOD who is most just And al 's in his salvation dear they faithlesse did not trust verse 23 Though he most mighty from aboâ—â— And in the midst al 's of their camp in heaps he let it fall With great abundance round about their habitations all verse 29 So they did eat and also were well fill'd as they did crave For unto them their owne desire in anger then he gave verse 30 They were not from their filthie lust estrang'd while they did eat But while within their greedy mouths contained was their meat verse 31 The wrath of God upon them came and all the fattest slew And smote down the most chosen men of Israel not a few verse 32 For all this they most wickedly still sinning did him grieve And for his great and wondrous worâ— they did him not believe verse 33 Therefore their dayes in vanitie he from his justice seat Then did consume and al 's likewise their years in troubles great verse 34 When in his fierce wrath he theâ— sleâ— they sought him with desire And they returnd and after GOD most early did enquire verse 35 And they remembred theÌ„ that God their rock was every way And al 's that their redeemer was the most hie GOD alway verse 36 Neverthelesse they foolish him did flatter craftilie And unto him they with their tongue most falsly then did lie verse 37 For their deceitfull heart with him not stable was and right Nor yet they in his cov'nant still were stedfast and upright verse 38 But being of compassion full their sins he great and small Freely forgave and in his wrath them not destroy'd at all Yea many a time in mercy he his anger turn'd away And did not fiercely all his wrath ' gainst them stir up alway verse 39 For he remembred that they were but flesh that is most vain A wind that passeth soon away and cometh not again verse 40 How oft did they provoke him in the barren wildernesse And in the desart also him grieve by their wickednesse verse 41 Yea to their sins they turned back and tempted GOD anone And of Isra'l they limited the just and holy One verse 42 They did not his almighty hand remember thankfully Nor yet the day he saved them from the fierce enemy verse 43 How he had in strong Egypt lanâ— that stubborn would not yeeld Wrought his great signes and wondâ— had done in Zoan field verse 44 And how he had by his great powâ— their rivers turn'd in blood And spoil'd their waters so that they could not drink of their flood verse 45 He diverse sorts of flies did send among them to devore And filthy frogs which them also destroyed more and more verse 46 Unto the Caterpillar he gave likwise their increase And to the greedy locust al 's their labour more and lesse verse 47 By hail which with great weight â— doâ— their vines destroy'd were lost And their most pleasant Sycomores were withred all with frost verse 48 He to the hail which fearfull was gave up their cattell all And flocks unto the thunder bolts which hote on them did fall verse 49 His fierce wrath his anger great upon them he did cast By sending Angels that were ill among them
