bless_v god_n for_o then_o cross_n be_v light_a crosses_z be_v no_o cross_n then_o that_o be_v the_o reason_n that_o the_o apostle_n and_o holy_a man_n so_o stir_v up_o their_o heart_n to_o praise_n and_o thansgiving_n that_o they_o may_v feel_v their_o cross_n the_o less_o that_o they_o may_v be_v less_o sensible_a of_o their_o discomfort_n for_o undoubted_o when_o we_o search_v for_o matter_n of_o praise_v god_n in_o any_o affliction_n and_o when_o we_o see_v there_o be_v some_o mercy_n yet_o reserve_v that_o we_o be_v not_o consume_v the_o consideration_n that_o there_o be_v always_o some_o mercy_n that_o we_o be_v yet_o unthankful_a for_o will_v enlarge_v our_o heart_n and_o god_n when_o he_o have_v thanks_o and_o praise_n from_o we_o he_o give_v we_o still_o more_o matter_n of_o thankfulness_n and_o the_o more_o we_o thank_v he_o and_o praise_v he_o the_o more_o we_o have_v matter_n of_o praise_n
he_o may_v grow_v humble_a and_o be_v abase_v more_o and_o more_o a_o man_n can_v give_v no_o one_o direction_n better_o than_o this_o to_o consider_v how_o god_n have_v be_v good_a continual_o how_o he_o have_v be_v patient_a and_o good_a and_o upon_o what_o ground_n we_o hope_v that_o he_o will_v be_v so_o and_o to_o consider_v the_o disposition_n of_o our_o own_o droop_n drowsy_a soul_n if_o this_o will_v not_o abase_v a_o soul_n that_o have_v taste_v the_o love_n and_o mercy_n of_o god_n nothing_o in_o the_o world_n will_v do_v it_o there_o never_o be_v a_o child_n of_o god_n of_o a_o dull_a temper_n and_o disposition_n but_o he_o be_v ashamed_a that_o be_v under_o such_o a_o covenant_n of_o favour_n that_o he_o shall_v yet_o not_o have_v a_o heart_n more_o enlarge_v to_o bless_v god_n to_o stir_v we_o up_o to_o this_o duty_n for_o argument_n to_o persuade_v we_o what_o need_v we_o thankfulness_n use_v many_o it_o shall_v be_v our_o duty_n in_o this_o world_n to_o be_v as_o much_o in_o heaven_n and_o heavenly_a employment_n our_o conversation_n be_v in_o heaven_n say_v the_o apostle_n heaven_n how_o can_v we_o be_v in_o heaven_n more_o than_o by_o practise_v of_o that_o which_o the_o saint_n and_o angel_n and_o the_o cherubin_n and_o seraphin_n spend_v all_o their_o strength_n in_o there_o how_o do_v they_o spend_v all_o that_o bless_a strength_n with_o chearfulnesse_n and_o joy_n that_o be_v in_o that_o place_n of_o joy_n how_o do_v they_o spend_v it_o but_o in_o set_v forth_o the_o praise_n of_o god_n the_o wonderful_a goodness_n of_o god_n that_o this_o duty_n the_o object_n of_o praise_n here_o be_v god_n clothe_v with_o a_o comfortable_a description_n praise_n not_o god_n simple_o for_o alas_o we_o have_v no_o heart_n to_o praise_n god_n he_o be_v fill_v first_o with_o all_o grace_n and_o we_o be_v fill_v from_o he_o of_o his_o fullness_n we_o receive_v grace_n for_o grace_n he_o be_v first_o acquit_v of_o our_o sin_n as_o our_o surety_n and_o then_o we_o be_v justify_v because_o he_o be_v justify_v from_o our_o sin_n be_v our_o surety_n he_o be_v ascend_v into_o heaven_n we_o shall_v ascend_v he_o sit_v at_o the_o right_a hardly_o be_v believe_v that_o a_o mother_n shall_v forget_v her_o child_n yet_o notwithstanding_o i_o will_v not_o forget_v you_o you_o be_v write_v upon_o the_o palm_n of_o my_o hand_n that_o be_v chastize_v not_o be_v a_o bastard_n have_v you_o forget_v insinuate_a that_o if_o they_o have_v remember_v this_o it_o will_v have_v comfort_v they_o have_v you_o forget_v and_o then_o one_o cross_n as_o they_o be_v irksome_a in_o suffer_v so_o they_o be_v likewise_o disgraceful_a and_o as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o cross_n of_o christ_n there_o be_v two_o thing_n torment_n and_o shame_n the_o one_o he_o feel_v himself_o the_o other_o he_o have_v from_o other_o those_o two_o disgrace_n be_v proper_a to_o the_o cross_n so_o it_o be_v in_o all_o the_o cross_n that_o we_o suffer_v
