speak_v no_o answer_n to_o your_o prayer_n the_o language_n of_o his_o action_n speak_v thus_o pray_v on_o cry_v on_o and_o lift_v up_o your_o voice_n on_o high_a christ_n hold_v the_o door_n close_o not_o that_o he_o may_v keep_v you_o out_o but_o that_o he_o may_v make_v you_o knock_v the_o more_o christ_n let_v you_o continue_v pray_v not_o because_o he_o do_v not_o regard_v your_o prayer_n but_o because_o he_o love_v your_o prayer_n so_o well_o that_o he_o will_v hear_v your_o prayer_n again_o and_o again_o christ_n know_v that_o strength_n come_v in_o wrestle_v observe_v it_o be_v no_o new_a thing_n then_o for_o believer_n to_o have_v no_o present_a visible_a answer_n to_o their_o prayer_n but_o mark_v although_o they_o have_v no_o visible_a answer_n to_o their_o prayer_n they_o have_v invisible_a strength_n he_o answer_v she_o not_o a_o word_n to_o her_o prayer_n but_o he_o assi_v she_o all_o that_o while_n in_o pray_v he_o give_v she_o no_o answer_n to_o her_o prayer_n but_o he_o give_v her_o prayer_n he_o give_v her_o faith_n to_o continue_v in_o prayer_n so_o long_o therefore_o as_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n do_v send_v down_o his_o spirit_n upon_o your_o heart_n in_o prayer_n though_o you_o have_v no_o visible_a answer_n unto_o your_o prayer_n yet_o if_o he_o uphold_v your_o heart_n in_o believe_v still_o to_o hang_v upon_o he_o still_o to_o wait_v upon_o he_o your_o condition_n be_v not_o new_a it_o be_v no_o other_o than_o that_o which_o befall_v the_o best_a of_o god_n child_n and_o true_a believer_n thus_o it_o befall_v this_o woman_n if_o this_o temptation_n do_v befall_v any_o of_o you_o as_o it_o befall_v this_o woman_n to_o have_v no_o visible_a answer_n unto_o your_o prayer_n pray_v do_v as_o this_o woman_n do_v what_o do_v she_o first_o he_o answer_v she_o not_o a_o word_n but_o still_o she_o do_v acknowledge_v that_o he_o be_v able_a to_o help_v she_o do_v acknowledge_v his_o deity_n and_o say_v lord._n so_o do_v you_o second_o she_o do_v acknowledge_v that_o it_o be_v his_o office_n for_o to_o help_v and_o therefore_o she_o say_v thou_o son_n of_o david_n so_o do_v you_o also_o say_v in_o your_o heart_n though_o i_o have_v not_o help_v for_o the_o present_a it_o be_v the_o office_n of_o christ_n to_o help_v i_o he_o be_v the_o son_n of_o david_n three_o she_o do_v not_o rest_n upon_o she_o own_o duty_n or_o her_o own_o righteousness_n but_o she_o come_v unto_o mere_a mercy_n and_o she_o wait_v on_o that_o so_o do_v you_o also_o four_o she_o do_v propound_v her_o misery_n leave_v her_o misery_n at_o the_o own_o mean_n so_o do_v you_o also_o five_o she_o continue_v yet_o pray_v yea_o when_o the_o disciple_n have_v do_v the_o disciple_n they_o say_v send_v she_o away_o at_o the_o 23._o verse_n for_o she_o cry_v after_o we_o christ_n make_v a_o answer_n to_o they_o and_o you_o hear_v no_o more_o of_o the_o disciple_n they_o have_v do_v thus_o do_v you_o also_o as_o this_o woman_n do_v though_o say_v i_o be_o not_o send_v but_o unto_o the_o lose_a sheep_n of_o the_o house_n of_o israel_n here_o now_o be_v the_o second_o temptation_n and_o this_o indeed_o seem_v to_o be_v great_a than_o the_o former_a before_o he_o answer_v she_o not_o a_o word_n and_o now_o here_o be_v denial_n seem_v denial_n i_o be_o not_o send_v but_o unto_o the_o lose_a sheep_n of_o the_o house_n of_o israel_n this_o temptation_n be_v great_a for_o now_o in_o this_o his_o deal_n his_o way_n seem_v to_o run_v cross_a unto_o promise_n the_o promise_n be_v make_v unto_o the_o gentile_n the_o old_a testament_n be_v full_a of_o it_o 42._o of_o esay_n and_o the_o 1._o verse_n he_o shall_v bring_v forth_o judgement_n unto_o the_o gentile_n verse_n 6._o i_o have_v give_v thou_o for_o a_o covenant_n of_o the_o her_o temptation_n rise_v after_o prayer_n yet_o her_o prayer_n right_a and_o her_o faith_n right_o second_o observe_v this_o that_o god_n deal_n or_o christ_n deal_n with_o a_o man_n may_v sometime_o seem_v to_o run_v cross_a to_o his_o very_a promise_n and_o yet_o a_o man_n condition_n right_a so_o here_o with_o this_o woman_n three_o that_o it_o may_v be_v the_o case_n of_o some_o of_o god_n child_n to_o be_v exercise_v about_o their_o election_n and_o predestination_n and_o temptation_n concern_v election_n and_o predestination_n throw_v in_o upon_o they_o four_o that_o in_o case_n any_o poor_a believer_n that_o be_v a_o weak_a person_n weak_a in_o the_o faith_n be_v tempt_v and_o try_v about_o election_n or_o predestination_n the_o best_a way_n for_o the_o present_a be_v to_o lay_v that_o dispute_n by_o and_o to_o run_v to_o mercy_n
and_o say_v lord_n help_v i_o and_o for_o the_o present_a not_o to_o dispute_v whether_o he_o be_v a_o sheep_n or_o no_o elect_v or_o no_o predestinate_v or_o no_o but_o run_v to_o christ_n and_o go_v to_o prayer_n and_o say_v lord_n help_v i_o and_o lay_v the_o dispute_n by_o again_o as_o our_o temptation_n increase_v so_o our_o faith_n shall_v increase_v the_o woman_n temptation_n rise_v so_o do_v her_o faith_n too_o she_o come_v and_o worship_v he_o say_v lord_n help_v i_o still_o she_o hold_v on_o and_o hang_v upon_o jesus_n christ_n according_a to_o the_o increase_v of_o our_o temptation_n so_o shall_v the_o increase_v of_o our_o faith_n be_v if_o all_o this_o will_v not_o do_v behold_v now_o a_o three_o and_o a_o great_a temptation_n he_o answer_v and_o say_v it_o be_v not_o meet_v to_o take_v the_o child_n bread_n and_o to_o cast_v it_o to_o dog_n it_o be_v not_o meet_v to_o cast_v child_n bread_n to_o dog_n the_o word_n in_o the_o original_n be_v a_o whelp_n a_o dog_n grow_v or_o a_o mastiff_n may_v be_v &_o be_v good_a for_o something_o of_o great_a use_n but_o what_o be_v a_o whelp_n good_a for_o for_o the_o present_a of_o what_o use_n it_o be_v not_o meet_v to_o cast_v child_n bread_n unto_o whelp_n to_o castanna_n child_n bread_n it_o intimate_v thus_o much_o that_o god_n do_v cast_v some_o outward_a blessing_n upon_o wicked_a man_n that_o be_v even_a dog_n but_o the_o bread_n of_o child_n be_v so_o dispense_v gospel-bread_n be_v so_o dispense_v as_o nothing_o shall_v be_v lose_v here_o be_v a_o very_a great_a temptation_n and_o great_a than_o the_o other_o dog_n be_v most_o unworthy_a when_o the_o scripture_n will_v set_v out_o the_o unworthiness_n of_o a_o man_n and_o the_o abject_a condition_n of_o any_o he_o be_v call_v a_o dog_n goliath_n can_v understand_v this_o be_o i_o a_o dog_n that_o thou_o come_v out_o thus_o against_o i_o 17.43_o 1_o sam._n 17.43_o be_o i_o so_o base_a vile_a and_o unworthy_a be_o i_o a_o dog_n and_o so_o mephibosheth_n when_o he_o will_v acknowledge_v his_o own_o unworthiness_n to_o david_n he_o call_v himself_o a_o dog_n and_o a_o dead_a dog_n so_o hasael_n be_o i_o a_o dog_n yet_o say_v our_o saviour_n here_o it_o be_v not_o meet_v to_o cast_v child_n bread_n unto_o dog_n this_o woman_n now_o her_o heart_n may_v have_v rise_v and_o she_o may_v have_v say_v thus_o one_o will_v think_v i_o be_o no_o dog_n i_o be_o a_o woman_n though_o a_o sinful_a woman_n but_o i_o be_o no_o dog_n i_o have_v now_o come_v &_o spread_v my_o condition_n and_o misery_n before_o you_o if_o you_o will_v not_o relieve_v i_o do_v not_o miscall_v i_o if_o you_o will_v not_o help_v i_o yet_o do_v not_o abuse_v i_o if_o you_o will_v not_o help_v i_o yet_o pity_v i_o do_v not_o call_v i_o dog_n i_o be_o no_o dog_n the_o jew_n that_o you_o call_v the_o child_n of_o the_o kingdom_n they_o indeed_o be_v dog_n they_o turn_v again_o and_o rend_v you_o but_o i_o do_v not_o turn_v again_o and_o rend_v you_o i_o be_o no_o dog_n her_o heart_n may_v have_v rise_v at_o this_o phrase_n here_o be_v a_o great_a temptation_n now_o a_o mighty_a trial_n here_o in_o this_o three_o thing_n observe_v observe_v it_o be_v i_o be_o unworthy_a of_o communion_n with_o the_o saint_n communion_n with_o god_n people_n with_o christ_n i_o be_o a_o dog_n i_o be_o most_o unworthy_a it_o be_v no_o new_a thing_n for_o true_a believer_n to_o have_v their_o own_o unworthiness_n object_v to_o they_o but_o mark_v how_o this_o woman_n faith_n work_v through_o this_o temptation_n say_v she_o true_a lord_n yet_o the_o dog_n eat_v of_o the_o crumb_n which_o fall_v from_o their_o master_n table_n true_o the_o word_n be_v the_o same_o that_o in_o the_o corinthian_n you_o translate_v 15.33_o 1_o cor._n 15.33_o protest_v i_o protest_v by_o our_o rejoice_v that_o i_o die_v daily_o and_o it_o shall_v rather_o be_v translate_v so_o yea_o by_o our_o rejoice_v we_o die_v daily_o rather_o than_o in_o the_o form_n of_o a_o dispraise_v themselves_o but_o if_o you_o dispraise_v they_o too_o than_o they_o will_v be_v angry_a if_o you_o fall_v in_o with_o their_o own_o dispraise_n and_o say_v it_o be_v true_a then_o they_o will_v be_v angry_a but_o a_o true_a believer_n you_o can_v speak_v or_o think_v so_o mean_o of_o he_o but_o he_o will_v say_v true_a lord_n true_a lord_n observe_v here_o she_o call_v christ_n lord_n when_o christ_n call_v she_o dog_n lord_n say_v she_o though_o thou_o speak_v dishonourable_o of_o i_o yet_o i_o will_v speak_v honourable_o of_o thou_o though_o i_o be_o a_o dog_n in_o thy_o mouth_n thou_o be_v a_o lord_n in_o my_o mouth_n a_o gracious_a heart_n and_o a_o true_a believer_n will_v speak_v and_o think_v honourable_o of_o jesus_n christ_n even_o then_o at_o that_o time_n when_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n shall_v suffer_v the_o great_a dirt_n and_o reproach_n to_o be_v throw_v upon_o he_o true_a lord._n but_o the_o dog_n eat_v the_o crumb_n three_o true_a faith_n find_v out_o a_o promise_n in_o the_o very_a refusal_n in_o christ_n refusal_n find_v out_o encouragement_n in_o the_o bowel_n of_o discouragement_n true_a lord_n bread_n be_v for_o child_n that_o be_v the_o put_v the_o soul_n away_o from_o he_o it_o make_v advantage_n of_o a_o discouragement_n and_o gather_v in_o upon_o jesus_n christ_n even_o by_o that_o hand_n that_o do_v thrust_v it_o away_o the_o high_o prize_n and_o value_v the_o least_o of_o christ_n a_o crumb_n a_o crumb_n oh_o if_o i_o may_v have_v but_o a_o crumb_n a_o crumb_n shall_v be_v welcome_a lord_n a_o crumb_n of_o mercy_n be_v welcome_a the_o loaf_n be_v for_o child_n but_o if_o i_o can_v get_v a_o crumb_n i_o will_v praise_v god_n for_o it_o i_o will_v be_v content_v the_o least_o the_o worst_a of_o christ_n in_o the_o eye_n of_o a_o believer_n be_v high_o value_v and_o he_o set_v a_o great_a price_n upon_o it_o last_o all_o this_o be_v say_v by_o a_o woman_n woman_n usual_o be_v not_o of_o that_o boldness_n but_o more_o easy_o dash_v out_o of_o countenance_n faith_n rise_v above_o our_o nature_n and_o above_o our_o natural_a disposition_n faith_n have_v get_v into_o this_o woman_n heart_n and_o she_o forget_v she_o own_o disposition_n she_o come_v like_o any_o man_n with_o boldness_n upon_o jesus_n christ_n follow_v he_o and_o will_v never_o let_v he_o alone_o faith_n rise_v above_o our_o own_o woman_n great_a be_v thy_o faith_n be_v it_o unto_o thou_o even_o be_v thou_o will_v i_o come_v to_o the_o victory_n after_o this_o combat_n then_o jesus_n answer_v and_o say_v unto_o she_o o_fw-la woman_n great_a be_v thy_o faith_n be_v it_o unto_o thou_o even_o as_o thou_o will_v here_o now_o the_o lord_n do_v give_v a_o testimony_n of_o her_o faith_n and_o he_o do_v give_v she_o the_o mercy_n desire_v first_o he_o commend_v her_o faith_n and_o second_o he_o commend_v the_o greatness_n of_o her_o faith_n o_o woman_n great_a be_v thy_o faith_n quest_n why_o do_v he_o rather_o commend_v her_o faith_n than_o other_o grace_n she_o have_v other_o grace_n here_o be_v humility_n in_o this_o woman_n to_o be_v see_v here_o be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o wisdom_n in_o this_o woman_n to_o be_v see_v here_o be_v prayer_n here_o be_v perseverance_n in_o prayer_n christ_n commend_v none_o of_o these_o but_o commend_v her_o faith_n why_o do_v he_o rather_o commend_v her_o faith_n than_o any_o other_o grace_n answ_n faith_n do_v commend_v christ_n above_o all_o the_o other_o and_o therefore_o christ_n will_v commend_v faith_n above_o all_o other_o duty_n or_o grace_n i'faith_o honour_n christ_n and_o christ_n will_v honour_v faith_n it_o be_v faith_n that_o give_v a_o be_v to_o and_o be_v the_o root_n of_o all_o other_o grace_n he_o commend_v that_o it_o be_v only_a faith_n that_o bring_v christ_n and_o the_o soul_n together_o and_o therefore_o he_o do_v commend_v faith_n above_o all_o other_o grace_n if_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n do_v commend_v faith_n so_o why_o shall_v we_o not_o all_o labour_n especial_o to_o strengthen_v our_o faith_n get_v faith_n you_o that_o have_v it_o not_o &_o strengthen_v it_o you_o that_o have_v it_o get_v humility_n patience_n wisdom_n be_v be_v the_o greatness_n of_o her_o faith_n faith_n consist_v in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n assent_n unto_o the_o truth_n a_o rely_v upon_o god_n in_o christ_n in_o time_n of_o temptation_n it_o be_v a_o come_v to_o jesus_n christ_n a_o adherence_n to_o he_o but_o the_o greatness_n of_o her_o faith_n lie_v in_o this_o that_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o all_o these_o temptation_n yet_o she_o do_v hang_v on_o christ_n and_o will_v not_o be_v beat_v off_o by_o any_o of_o these_o discouragement_n or_o temptation_n here_o be_v the_o greatness_n of_o her_o faith_n observe_v the_o strength_n of_o
