ver_fw-la 5._o so_o that_o the_o sum_n of_o these_o two_o verse_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o a_o pitiful_a complaint_n of_o the_o lord_n for_o the_o stubbornness_n and_o rebellion_n of_o the_o jew_n that_o can_v not_o by_o any_o mean_v the_o lord_n use_v be_v reclaim_v verse_n the_o sum_n of_o these_o two_o verse_n o_o ephraim_n what_o shall_v i_o do_v unto_o thou_o o_o judah_n how_o shall_v i_o entreat_v thou_o for_o your_o goodness_n be_v as_o the_o morning_n cloud_n and_o as_o the_o morning_n dew_n it_o go_v away_o second_o the_o just_a punishment_n of_o almighty_a god_n upon_o they_o person_n of_o who_o the_o lord_n complain_v thus_o ephraim_n judah_n 3._o the_o cause_n of_o the_o complaint_n or_o the_o thing_n whereof_o the_o lord_n complain_v your_o goodness_n be_v as_o the_o morning_n cloud_n and_o as_o the_o morning_n dew_n it_o go_v away_o in_o the_o second_o we_o be_v to_o note_v 4_o thing_n 1._o who_o be_v the_o author_n of_o their_o punishment_n and_o do_v inflict_v it_o i_o have_v cut_v etc._n etc._n 2._o the_o greatness_n of_o it_o i_o have_v cut_v down_o and_o slay_v they_o 3._o the_o mean_n or_o instrument_n god_n use_v in_o punish_v they_o by_o my_o prophet_n &_o the_o word_n of_o my_o mouth_n 4._o the_o equity_n of_o this_o judgement_n and_o punishment_n inflict_v upon_o they_o for_o thy_o judgement_n be_v as_o the_o light_n so_o clear_a and_o so_o manifest_a that_o no_o man_n can_v complain_v or_o excuse_v themselves_o by_o ignorance_n they_o be_v in_o the_o view_n of_o all_o man_n of_o these_o in_o order_n and_o first_o to_o begin_v with_o the_o complaint_n what_o shall_v i_o do_v unto_o thou_o how_o shall_v i_o entreat_v thou_o these_o word_n contain_v in_o they_o the_o complaint_n the_o lord_n take_v up_o against_o these_o rebellious_a jew_n &_o it_o be_v as_o much_o as_o if_o he_o shall_v have_v say_v i_o have_v for_o my_o part_n use_v all_o the_o mean_v that_o possible_a i_o can_v to_o humble_v you_o and_o to_o bring_v you_o to_o repentance_n but_o now_o alas_o i_o know_v not_o what_o to_o do_v unto_o thou_o more_o or_o what_o course_n to_o take_v to_o do_v thou_o good_a &_o yet_o i_o can_v bring_v thou_o to_o no_o good_a pass_n but_o all_o be_v in_o vain_a that_o ever_o i_o have_v do_v unto_o thou_o and_o therefore_o in_o great_a grief_n pity_v thy_o wretched_a and_o forlorn_a estate_n i_o can_v but_o mourn_v for_o thy_o misery_n doct._n 1_o hence_o we_o see_v in_o the_o deal_n of_o god_n with_o this_o people_n the_o wonderful_a mercy_n of_o god_n towards_o
lord_n thus_o love_v mercy_n and_o brotherly_a kindness_n use_v 1_o betwixt_o neighbour_n and_o neighbour_n that_o he_o prefer_v it_o before_o all_o our_o outward_a show_n of_o religion_n nay_o all_o that_o we_o do_v be_v but_o abomination_n without_o it_o oh_o how_o shall_v this_o affect_v we_o all_o how_o shall_v it_o inflame_v we_o to_o love_v one_o another_o to_o pardon_v one_o another_o to_o show_v mercy_n one_o to_o another_o will_v you_o do_v that_o which_o please_v god_n which_o he_o desire_v so_o much_o it_o be_v this_o that_o thou_o show_v mercy_n to_o thy_o brother_n 5._o mat._n 5._o to_o pardon_v he_o to_o forgive_v he_o to_o show_v thy_o love_n to_o he_o be_v you_o merciful_a as_o your_o heavenly_a father_n be_v merciful_a some_o there_o be_v who_o in_o the_o outward_a exercise_n of_o religion_n be_v very_o diligent_a in_o repair_v to_o the_o congregation_n in_o hear_v god_n word_n and_o conform_v themselves_o indifferent_o upon_o the_o sabbath_n day_n to_o other_o christian_a duty_n but_o look_v on_o they_o concern_v their_o duty_n to_o man_n there_o you_o shall_v find_v they_o exceed_v guilty_a proud_a disdainful_a malicious_a cruel_a oppressor_n all_o for_o themselves_o without_o any_o respect_n to_o other_o oh_o let_v we_o look_v unto_o it_o that_o we_o separate_v not_o those_o thing_n which_o god_n have_v join_v together_o holiness_n towards_o god_n and_o righteousness_n towards_o man_n be_v thou_o a_o lover_n of_o godâ—_n word_n delight_v in_o the_o public_a duty_n of_o god_n worship_n and_o service_n thou_o do_v well_o it_o shall_v be_v thy_o comfort_n in_o life_n thy_o comfort_n in_o death_n and_o thy_o joy_n and_o rejoice_v after_o death_n well_o then_o look_v unto_o this_o that_o thou_o make_v conscience_n of_o equity_n towards_o man_n do_v to_o other_o as_o thou_o will_v have_v another_o do_v unto_o thou_o else_o all_o thy_o devotion_n be_v but_o hypocrisy_n for_o god_n have_v join_v these_o two_o together_o see_v the_o lord_n compare_v yea_o prefer_v mercy_n use_n 2_o before_o sacrifice_n that_o be_v love_n and_o delight_n in_o merciful_a deal_n and_o honest_a and_o faithful_a deal_n more_o than_o in_o all_o outward_a sacrifice_n yea_o he_o so_o esteem_v of_o it_o that_o they_o which_o want_v mercy_n towards_o their_o neighbour_n they_o can_v please_v god_n how_o do_v this_o condemn_v those_o which_o be_v so_o hard-hearted_a and_o so_o straight_o lace_v that_o they_o can_v show_v no_o dram_n of_o mercy_n to_o their_o brethren_n but_o boil_v in_o malice_n and_o be_v so_o inflame_v with_o anger_n and_o revenge_n that_o they_o can_v show_v any_o mercy_n not_o speak_v a_o kind_a word_n nor_o think_v one_o good_a thought_n of_o their_o neighbour_n mark_v what_o the_o lord_n say_v i_o will_v have_v mercy_n and_o not_o sacrifice_n i_o have_v rather_o have_v thou_o show_v merciful_a and_o kind_a deal_n then_o to_o have_v sacrifice_n and_o outward_a ceremony_n nay_o thou_o may_v offer_v thy_o sacrifice_n with_o cain_n but_o if_o thou_o have_v a_o bloody_a 4.5_o gen_n 4.5_o a_o cruel_a and_o malicious_a heart_n the_o lord_n care_v no_o more_o for_o thou_o or_o for_o thy_o sacrifice_n then_o if_o thou_o shall_v kill_v a_o man_n how_o can_v thou_o hear_v the_o word_n and_o receyve_v the_o sacrament_n how_o can_v thou_o pray_v forgive_v i_o as_o i_o forgive_v my_o brother_n do_v thou_o not_o crave_v a_o judgement_n yea_o a_o plague_n from_o god_n upon_o thy_o own_o soul_n that_o as_o thou_o will_v not_o pardon_v thy_o brother_n so_o god_n shall_v never_o pardon_v thou_o oh_o then_o remember_v what_o christ_n say_v if_o you_o love_v they_o which_o love_v you_o 5.46_o mat._n 5.46_o what_o reward_n shall_v you_o have_v do_v not_o the_o publican_n even_o the_o same_o let_v we_o go_v beyond_o the_o publican_n inloving_a even_o our_o enemy_n and_o show_v mercy_n unto_o they_o for_o this_o be_v that_o which_o god_n be_v well_o please_v withal_o verse_n 7._o but_o they_o like_o man_n have_v transgress_v the_o covenant_n there_o have_v they_o trespass_v against_o i_o in_o this_o verse_n and_o the_o rest_n that_o follow_v to_o the_o end_n of_o the_o chapter_n chapt._n the_o sum_n of_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o chapt._n the_o lord_n begin_v to_o lay_v they_o out_o in_o their_o colour_n and_o to_o paint_v out_o their_o rebellion_n and_o first_o in_o this_o seven_o verse_n he_o show_v in_o general_a that_o they_o have_v break_v that_o league_n and_o holy_a covenant_n which_o he_o have_v make_v betwixt_o he_o and_o they_o that_o holy_a covenant_n which_o have_v be_v so_o solemn_o agree_v upon_o 19.5.6_o gen._n 17.7_o exod._n 19.5.6_o wherein_o the_o lord_n have_v promise_v he_o will_v be_v their_o god_n and_o they_o have_v promise_v to_o be_v his_o people_n this_o covenant_n they_o have_v wilful_o break_v &_o cast_v it_o behind_o their_o back_n and_o shake_v off_o the_o yoke_n of_o their_o obedience_n in_o the_o eight_o verse_n the_o lord_n come_v unto_o they_o more_o particular_o and_o name_v gilead_n which_o be_v one_o of_o the_o city_n of_o refuge_n 20.8.9_o josu_fw-la 20.8.9_o this_o city_n have_v inhabit_v of_o the_o levite_n and_o the_o priest_n and_o therefore_o shall_v have_v be_v a_o mother_n city_n a_o nurse_n to_o religion_n and_o piety_n and_o these_o priest_n and_o levite_n shall_v have_v shine_v as_o star_n by_o holy_a life_n and_o pure_a doctrine_n but_o the_o lord_n complain_v that_o even_o gilead_n be_v a_o city_n full_a of_o all_o impiety_n full_a of_o blood_n and_o cruelty_n and_o if_o it_o fare_v thus_o with_o gilead_n what_o can_v be_v hope_v for_o of_o other_o place_n but_o that_o they_o do_v match_v she_o or_o be_v far_o worse_o than_o she_o in_o the_o nine_o verse_n the_o prophet_n do_v not_o only_o complain_v of_o the_o common_a people_n but_o show_v the_o miserable_a impiety_n of_o the_o priest_n who_o he_o compare_v to_o murderer_n and_o robber_n because_o they_o be_v full_a of_o cruelty_n and_o oppression_n covetous_a and_o give_v to_o all_o manner_n of_o vile_a deal_n none_o the_o prophet_n spare_v none_o but_o especial_o they_o may_v be_v compare_v to_o robber_n and_o murderer_n because_o they_o do_v murder_v the_o poor_a soul_n of_o man_n and_o woman_n and_o in_o the_o two_o last_o verse_n he_o sharp_o reprove_v the_o idolatry_n of_o the_o people_n which_o be_v establish_v hy_z jeroboam_fw-la and_o his_o counsellor_n so_o as_o we_o see_v the_o prophet_n he_o spare_v no_o estate_n he_o begin_v with_o the_o common_a people_n then_o come_v to_o the_o priest_n and_o now_o he_o lay_v open_v the_o vile_a deal_n of_o the_o king_n and_o his_o noble_n who_o neglect_v the_o true_a worship_n of_o god_n and_o set_v up_o idolatry_n and_o worship_v baal_n in_o this_o seven_o verse_n we_o have_v three_o thing_n to_o be_v consider_v of_o we_o divide_v the_o text_n divide_v first_o their_o sin_n they_o have_v transgress_v the_o covenant_n a_o great_a sin_n to_o break_v covenant_n with_o god_n second_o the_o manner_n of_o it_o namely_o like_o man_n that_o be_v when_o i_o mean_v in_o good_a earnest_n to_o make_v my_o covenant_n with_o you_o and_o promise_v that_o i_o will_v be_v your_o god_n and_o give_v you_o my_o law_n you_o must_v unfaithful_o and_o rebellious_o have_v cast_v oft_o the_o yoke_n of_o obedience_n have_v break_v my_o covenant_n and_o reject_v my_o law_n &_o will_v not_o stand_v to_o your_o promise_n as_o i_o think_v you_o will_v three_o wherein_o they_o sin_v namely_o in_o that_o they_o do_v most_o glory_n and_o most_o of_o all_o rely_v upon_o there_o have_v they_o transgress_v against_o i_o that_o be_v even_o in_o your_o very_a sacrifice_n to_o the_o which_o you_o stick_v and_o think_v that_o i_o be_o behold_v unto_o you_o for_o they_o your_o sacrifice_n of_o lamb_n and_o beast_n be_v the_o thing_n i_o desire_v be_v do_v in_o a_o holy_a manner_n but_o you_o boast_v yourselves_o of_o these_o outward_a ceremony_n as_o though_o you_o be_v as_o good_a worshipper_n of_o god_n as_o can_v be_v even_o in_o this_o i_o condemn_v you_o because_o whereas_o i_o give_v they_o unto_o you_o to_o help_v your_o blindness_n and_o rudeness_n and_o to_o lead_v you_o to_o christ_n the_o true_a sacrifice_n you_o cast_v aside_o repentance_n and_o duty_n of_o faith_n and_o amendment_n of_o life_n think_v that_o these_o outward_a thing_n the_o blood_n of_o bull_n and_o sheep_n may_v satisfy_v my_o anger_n and_o purge_v you_o from_o your_o sin_n without_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o you_o have_v grievous_o break_v my_o covenant_n break_v my_o law_n and_o utter_o abuse_v my_o ordinance_n thus_o much_o of_o the_o sense_n now_o of_o the_o doctrine_n but_o they_o like_o man_n have_v break_v my_o covenant_n q._n d._n i_o give_v they_o my_o covenant_n &_o promise_v they_o
throw_v his_o child_n into_o continual_a misery_n and_o affliction_n answer_v continual_a poverty_n and_o sickness_n all_o their_o day_n and_o the_o pain_n of_o a_o wound_a conscience_n and_o trouble_a spirit_n till_o their_o last_o end_n yet_o it_o be_v for_o their_o good_a for_o by_o this_o mean_n the_o lord_n will_v purge_v their_o corrupt_a &_o canker_a heart_n to_o humble_v they_o thorough_o and_o to_o exercise_v their_o faith_n and_o patience_n to_o mortify_v their_o carnal_a heart_n to_o make_v they_o more_o earnest_a with_o god_n in_o prayer_n and_o by_o their_o continual_a affliction_n to_o preserve_v and_o keep_v they_o and_o prevent_v they_o from_o manifold_a sin_n and_o rebellion_n and_o yet_o notwithstanding_o god_n hear_v his_o child_n in_o their_o misery_n and_o forsake_v they_o not_o but_o in_o two_o day_n or_o at_o the_o most_o in_o three_o day_n that_o be_v in_o a_o very_a short_a time_n send_v they_o comfort_n though_o he_o take_v not_o their_o affliction_n away_o yet_o he_o give_v they_o that_o which_o be_v better_o for_o they_o our_o saviour_n christ_n pray_v unto_o his_o father_n most_o earnest_o with_o cry_n and_o tear_n to_o be_v free_v from_o death_n 5.7_o heb._n 5.7_o and_o be_v hear_v in_o that_o he_o fear_v how_o be_v our_o saviour_n christ_n hear_v in_o his_o petition_n pray_v to_o be_v free_v from_o death_n and_o yet_o he_o must_v needs_o taste_v of_o the_o bitter_a cup_n of_o death_n ans_fw-fr he_o be_v hear_v on_o this_o manner_n first_o in_o that_o he_o be_v strengthen_v not_o only_o to_o bear_v and_o suffer_v the_o death_n upon_o the_o cross_n but_o to_o overcome_v it_o and_o to_o vanquish_v it_o his_o father_n send_v a_o angel_n to_o comfort_v he_o and_o afterward_o he_o be_v free_v from_o the_o sorrow_n of_o death_n and_o so_o it_o be_v with_o the_o poor_a member_n of_o christ_n they_o be_v afflict_v they_o live_v in_o sorrow_n in_o poverty_n in_o sickness_n in_o grief_n of_o mind_n well_o the_o lord_n he_o give_v they_o patience_n to_o suffer_v this_o affliction_n so_o as_o it_o be_v not_o tedious_a and_o grievous_a unto_o they_o and_o by_o his_o continual_a afflict_v of_o they_o he_o humble_v they_o and_o purge_v they_o of_o their_o canker_a corruption_n and_o stir_v up_o in_o they_o the_o fervency_n of_o prayer_n make_v they_o out_o of_o love_n with_o the_o world_n and_o make_v they_o more_o to_o hunger_n after_o his_o mercy_n and_o to_o depend_v on_o his_o fatherly_a goodness_n and_o thus_o though_o man_n think_v god_n forget_v we_o in_o our_o affliction_n yet_o he_o do_v remember_v we_o and_o give_v we_o that_o which_o be_v better_o for_o we_o then_o if_o he_o shall_v altogether_o remove_v his_o correction_n jacob_n serve_v seven_o year_n for_o rahel_n and_o it_o seem_v unto_o he_o but_o a_o few_o day_n because_o he_o love_v she_o 29.20_o gen._n 29.20_o and_o sure_o if_o we_o be_v persuade_v of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n that_o though_o he_o afflict_v we_o seven_o time_n seven_o year_n we_o shall_v think_v it_o but_o a_o short_a time_n but_o the_o child_n of_o god_n oft_o complain_v that_o they_o be_v afflict_v not_o only_o with_o continual_a poverty_n and_o sickness_n but_o that_o they_o be_v torment_v with_o grief_n of_o soul_n and_o feel_v the_o heavy_a burden_n of_o their_o sin_n and_o the_o anger_n of_o god_n against_o they_o for_o the_o same_o yet_o remember_v what_o befall_v thy_o lord_n and_o master_n jesus_n christ_n when_o he_o go_v to_o execution_n the_o cruel_a jew_n make_v he_o carry_v his_o own_o cross_n on_o his_o back_n so_o long_o till_o he_o can_v carry_v it_o no_o long_o he_o be_v so_o faint_a then_o behold_v the_o lord_n send_v a_o good_a simon_n of_o siren_n to_o carry_v his_o cross_n for_o he_o so_o be_v thou_o cross_v with_o affliction_n be_v thy_o soul_n wound_v with_o the_o grief_n and_o smart_n of_o sin_n and_o do_v thou_o pant_v and_o breath_n under_o the_o heavy_a burden_n of_o the_o cross_n remember_v what_o thy_o saviour_n say_v unto_o thou_o come_v unto_o i_o all_o you_o that_o travel_n and_o be_v heavy_a lade_v 11.28_o mat._n 11.28_o and_o i_o will_v refresh_v you_o if_o thou_o can_v run_v to_o jesus_n christ_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o thy_o grief_n and_o misery_n by_o true_a repentance_n and_o earnest_a prayer_n than_o he_o will_v become_v a_o bless_a simon_n to_o bear_v thy_o cross_n for_o as_o jeremy_n see_v if_o there_o be_v ever_o any_o sorrow_n like_o my_o sorrow_n and_o as_o the_o prophet_n david_n complain_v have_v god_n forget_v to_o be_v gracious_a and_o have_v he_o shut_v up_o his_o love_a kindness_n in_o displeasure_n yet_o they_o must_v know_v and_o confess_v that_o god_n do_v in_o a_o short_a time_n comfort_v his_o child_n and_o that_o his_o affliction_n be_v neither_o troublesome_a nor_o tedious_a for_o though_o they_o last_o for_o the_o space_n of_o a_o man_n life_n what_o be_v a_o man_n life_n but_o a_o span_a long_a and_o a_o thousand_o year_n with_o god_n be_v but_o as_o a_o day_n again_o when_o they_o be_v past_a and_o go_v though_o they_o last_v many_o year_n it_o seem_v but_o a_o short_a time_n and_o what_o be_v twenty_o year_n affliction_n in_o comparison_n of_o eternal_a joy_n and_o happiness_n in_o heaven_n who_o have_v not_o rather_o lead_v their_o life_n in_o misery_n here_o then_o in_o eternal_a torment_n in_o hell_n fire_n in_o the_o life_n to_o come_v well_o see_v the_o affliction_n of_o god_n child_n be_v use_v 2_o but_o light_n and_o moment_n any_o and_o last_v but_o for_o a_o few_o day_n we_o must_v learn_v that_o lesson_n which_o saint_n paul_n teach_v we_o namely_o to_o rejoice_v in_o affliction_n know_v 5.3_o rom._n 5.3_o that_o affliction_n bring_v forth_o patience_n patience_n in_o suffering_n bring_v forth_o experience_n of_o god_n love_n and_o favour_n and_o experience_n hope_v and_o hope_n make_v we_o rest_v ourselves_o whole_o content_a to_o wait_v the_o lord_n leisure_n and_o be_v it_o not_o for_o this_o hope_n that_o god_n will_v one_o day_n ease_v we_o the_o heart_n of_o god_n child_n will_v burst_v in_o sunder_o and_o his_o hope_n make_v we_o not_o ashamed_a see_v that_o such_o be_v the_o love_n of_o god_n that_o he_o never_o fail_v nor_o forsake_v his_o child_n many_o indeed_o be_v our_o infirmity_n fear_n care_n sorrow_n and_o trouble_n here_o yet_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o they_o all_o we_o must_v say_v with_o the_o prophet_n 42.5_o psal_n 42.5_o why_o be_v thou_o cast_v down_o oh_o my_o soul_n and_o why_o be_v thou_o disquiet_v within_o i_o wait_v on_o god_n for_o i_o will_v have_v set_v it_o even_o so_o the_o lord_n he_o have_v prepare_v the_o help_n of_o his_o people_n and_o the_o devil_n nay_o all_o the_o devil_n in_o hell_n can_v hinder_v he_o no_o more_o than_o we_o can_v by_o all_o our_o skill_n and_o might_n hinder_v the_o rise_n of_o the_o sun_n and_o sure_o this_o be_v great_o for_o the_o comfort_n of_o god_n child_n that_o when_o the_o lord_n be_v once_o prepare_a and_o come_v to_o help_v they_o no_o creature_n in_o heaven_n or_o earth_n can_v stay_v or_o stop_v he_o three_o as_o the_o morning_n do_v not_o diffuse_v and_o spread_v his_o light_n over_o the_o earth_n all_o at_o once_o but_o by_o degree_n by_o little_a and_o little_a as_o the_o sun_n grow_v high_a and_o high_o even_o so_o the_o lord_n for_o the_o most_o part_n make_v his_o love_n obedience_n then_o let_v we_o learn_v hence_o not_o to_o content_v ourselves_o to_o come_v to_o church_n to_o hear_v the_o word_n to_o pray_v etc._n etc._n but_o especial_o let_v we_o look_v to_o our_o heart_n to_o reform_v they_o that_o we_o may_v do_v all_o in_o faith_n good_a conscience_n and_o obedience_n and_o join_v with_o our_o duty_n of_o piety_n to_o god_n love_n to_o man_n else_o the_o lord_n care_v not_o for_o they_o oh_o let_v not_o man_n then_o any_o long_o bless_v themselves_o in_o their_o fond_a devotion_n as_o to_o think_v when_o they_o have_v be_v at_o the_o church_n have_v hear_v the_o word_n receive_v the_o sacrament_n pray_v with_o the_o congregation_n that_o therefore_o they_o have_v please_v god_n as_o well_o as_o the_o best_a alas_o all_o this_o they_o may_v the_o mass_n prayer_n for_o the_o dead_a invocation_n of_o saint_n worship_v of_o image_n and_o a_o thousand_o the_o like_a all_o which_o as_o they_o have_v no_o footing_n nor_o warrant_n from_o the_o word_n of_o god_n be_v the_o chief_a part_n of_o their_o religion_n so_o they_o shall_v find_v that_o the_o lord_n will_v never_o put_v up_o this_o sacrilege_n at_o their_o hand_n and_o that_o they_o have_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o they_o all_o when_o they_o have_v be_v most_o devoute_a in_o the_o performance_n of_o these_o thing_n be_v so_o far_o from_o please_a god_n as_o that_o they_o have_v rather_o stir_v he_o up_o to_o wrath_n against_o they_o three_o and_o last_o see_v those_o man_n that_o have_v go_v use_v 3_o so_o far_o as_o to_o offer_v sacrifice_n unto_o the_o lord_n according_a to_o god_n commandment_n have_v notwithstanding_o be_v curse_a and_o miserable_a and_o even_o by_o their_o sacrifice_n have_v sin_v high_o and_o provoke_v the_o lord_n against_o they_o as_o we_o see_v here_o in_o this_o people_n oh_o then_o how_o miserable_a and_o wretched_a must_v the_o estate_n of_o those_o man_n be_v that_o have_v not_o yet_o proceed_v so_o far_o that_o be_v so_o far_o from_o offer_v sacrifice_n unto_o god_n themselves_o as_o that_o they_o despise_v those_o that_o do_v or_o if_o that_o they_o do_v it_o themselves_o it_o proceed_v from_o they_o but_o cold_o and_o careless_o this_o people_n here_o be_v very_o forward_o to_o perform_v the_o outward_a ceremony_n of_o god_n worship_n but_o they_o never_o look_v unto_o the_o right_a manner_n of_o do_v of_o they_o which_o make_v the_o same_o to_o be_v abomination_n unto_o the_o lord_n now_o if_o their_o fall_n shall_v be_v so_o horrible_a and_o fearful_a that_o build_v and_o that_o with_o the_o good_a word_n of_o god_n do_v those_o duty_n that_o god_n do_v require_v as_o this_o people_n do_v though_o they_o fail_v in_o the_o manner_n of_o do_v of_o they_o how_o terrible_a must_v their_o judgement_n need_v be_v that_o be_v so_o far_o from_o building_n as_o that_o they_o be_v rather_o puller_n down_o and_o come_v so_o far_o even_o behind_o these_o wicked_a jew_n themselves_o in_o the_o very_a show_n of_o
