penitent_a heart_n god_n will_v always_o have_v the_o arm_n of_o his_o mercy_n wide_o open_a to_o receive_v he_o the_o thief_n crucify_v at_o our_o saviour_n side_n be_v at_o the_o last_o gasp_n when_o he_o be_v convert_v and_o when_o he_o utter_v this_o excellent_a expression_n remember_v i_o lord_n when_o thou_o come_v into_o thy_o kingdom_n luk_n 23._o our_o good_a and_o merciful_a saviour_n grant_v his_o request_n and_o encourage_v he_o with_o the_o most_o excellent_a and_o comfortable_a promise_n that_o we_o can_v imagine_v very_o i_o say_v unto_o thou_o to_o day_n shall_v of_o salvation_n and_o the_o time_n of_o god_n good_a pleasure_n see_v that_o this_o good_a god_n draw_v so_o near_o thou_o thou_o may_v with_o freedom_n draw_v near_o he_o and_o see_v that_o he_o beat_v and_o knock_v at_o the_o door_n of_o thy_o heart_n it_o be_v a_o infallible_a token_n that_o thou_o may_v also_o beat_v at_o the_o door_n of_o his_o eternal_a mercy_n and_o that_o he_o intend_v to_o open_v to_o satisfy_v thou_o in_o short_a at_o what_o hour_n soever_o we_o go_v unto_o god_n and_o appear_v before_o his_o throne_n he_o stretch_v out_o unto_o we_o the_o golden_a sceptre_n of_o his_o goodness_n that_o we_o shall_v obtain_v mercy_n and_o find_v grace_n to_o be_v help_v in_o time_n of_o need_n it_o be_v not_o needful_a that_o we_o shall_v prepare_v long_o and_o elaborate_v speech_n or_o prayer_n to_o persuade_v god_n to_o vouchsafe_v his_o grace_n and_o needful_a help_n in_o such_o a_o urgent_a necessity_n it_o be_v not_o necessary_a that_o we_o shall_v compose_v they_o with_o the_o art_n and_o industry_n of_o humane_a wisdom_n we_o need_v but_o pray_v unto_o god_n as_o unto_o our_o father_n and_o weep_v in_o his_o bosom_n we_o need_v but_o open_a unto_o he_o our_o heart_n and_o call_v ourselves_o his_o child_n that_o alone_o be_v sufficient_a to_o move_v he_o to_o compassion_n and_o to_o stir_v up_o his_o fatherly_a affection_n to_o appease_v his_o anger_n and_o to_o draw_v upon_o we_o his_o most_o excellent_a blessing_n the_o prophet_n isaiah_n the_o most_o eloquent_a of_o the_o man_n of_o his_o time_n seek_v no_o other_o argument_n to_o persuade_v god_n to_o have_v mercy_n and_o compassion_n but_o this_o look_v down_o from_o heaven_n and_o behold_v from_o the_o habitation_n of_o thy_o holiness_n and_o of_o thy_o glory_n where_o be_v thy_o zeal_n and_o thy_o strength_n the_o sound_v of_o thy_o bowel_n and_o of_o thy_o mercy_n towards_o i_o be_v they_o restrain_v doubtless_o thou_o be_v our_o father_n though_o abraham_n be_v ignorant_a
