that_o he_o shall_v keep_v we_o from_o the_o evil_a of_o punishment_n than_o we_o be_v careful_a for_o our_o own_o particular_a to_o keep_v ourselves_o from_o the_o evil_a of_o sin_n while_o we_o shall_v rush_v upon_o all_o temptation_n of_o sin_n and_o give_v ourselves_o room_n and_o scope_n in_o they_o without_o restraint_n we_o do_v thereby_o provoke_v god_n to_o expose_v we_o and_o to_o give_v we_o up_o to_o all_o manner_n of_o judgement_n and_o our_o prayer_n to_o be_v free_v and_o deliver_v from_o they_o in_o such_o a_o case_n as_o be_v not_o likely_a to_o prevayl_v for_o we_o if_o i_o regard_v iniquity_n in_o my_o heart_n the_o lord_n will_v not_o hear_v my_o prayer_n psal_n 66.18_o and_o when_o you_o make_v many_o prayer_n i_o will_v not_o hear_v you_o your_o hand_n be_v full_a of_o blood_n in_o esay_n 1.15_o jabez_n pray_v and_o keep_v himself_o from_o sin_n as_o it_o be_v probable_a and_o so_o obtain_v in_o prayer_n to_o draw_v to_o a_o end_n and_o conclusion_n see_v all_o these_o thing_n be_v so_o that_o god_n be_v so_o ready_a to_o grant_v our_o request_n as_o now_o we_o have_v hear_v both_o in_o the_o general_n and_o likewise_o in_o these_o particular_n what_o do_v this_o from_o hence_o teach_v we_o but_o so_o much_o the_o more_o faithful_o to_o depend_v upon_o he_o and_o to_o trust_v for_o time_n to_o come_v see_v he_o be_v so_o good_a at_o grant_v request_n we_o shall_v hence_o learn_v to_o put_v he_o to_o it_o and_o to_o follow_v he_o with_o they_o all_o we_o can_v as_o any_o occasion_n be_v offer_v unto_o we_o we_o see_v how_o it_o be_v with_o beggar_n here_o in_o this_o world_n they_o love_v to_o go_v to_o those_o door_n which_o be_v open_a to_o they_o without_o difficulty_n or_o denial_n and_o to_o ply_v they_o most_o and_o often_o and_o so_o shall_v we_o do_v with_o the_o door_n of_o mercy_n and_o the_o throne_n of_o grace_n here_o be_v a_o door_n of_o hope_n open_a to_o we_o which_o we_o may_v not_o well_o neglect_v without_o much_o hindrance_n and_o prejudice_n to_o ourselves_o and_o our_o own_o advantage_n and_o therefore_o let_v we_o be_v sure_a not_o to_o leave_v it_o or_o depart_v from_o it_o in_o any_o case_n whatsoever_o and_o further_o to_o close_v up_o all_o let_v we_o not_o only_o as_o jabez_n here_o in_o this_o text_n pray_v to_o god_n in_o our_o own_o particular_n that_o god_n will_v be_v please_v this_o place_n that_o god_n will_v grant_v we_o the_o thing_n which_o we_o have_v request_v and_o so_o as_o for_o the_o land_n in_o general_n so_o also_o for_o the_o university_n in_o particular_a it_o be_v the_o best_a refuge_n which_o we_o can_v have_v in_o all_o our_o fear_n and_o jealousy_n and_o suspicion_n and_o sad_a apprehension_n of_o any_o evil_n near_a unto_o we_o of_o any_o hand_n stretch_v out_o against_o we_o of_o any_o straightning_n or_o contract_n of_o we_o to_o betake_v ourselves_o to_o call_v upon_o god_n and_o a_o faithful_a dependence_n upon_o he_o to_o this_o purpose_n that_o he_o will_v in_o large_a our_o coast_n and_o that_o his_o hand_n may_v be_v with_o we_o and_o that_o he_o will_v keep_v we_o from_o evil_a that_o it_o may_v not_o hurt_v we_o and_o
