sir_n in_o our_o last_o letter_n we_o give_v you_o a_o account_n of_o our_o first_o and_o second_o wait_v on_o the_o king_n we_o write_v to_o you_o then_o that_o his_o majesty_n command_v we_o to_o attend_v he_o yesterday_o be_v thursday_n to_o hear_v what_o he_o say_v to_o the_o gentleman_n which_o a_o little_a before_o the_o meeting_n he_o second_v by_o a_o particular_a message_n be_v come_v thither_o his_o majesty_n cause_v the_o several_a message_n between_o he_o and_o the_o parliament_n mention_v in_o this_o enclose_v print_v paper_n to_o be_v read_v this_o be_v do_v with_o much_o hum_n and_o applause_n of_o the_o king_n message_n by_o some_o person_n who_o have_v place_v themselves_o near_o about_o where_o the_o king_n stand_v but_o when_o any_o thing_n from_o the_o parliament_n come_v to_o be_v read_v with_o so_o much_o hiss_v and_o revile_v the_o parliament_n that_o though_o in_o respect_n and_o duty_n to_o the_o king_n person_n we_o can_v not_o resent_v it_o as_o otherwise_o we_o shall_v have_v do_v yet_o have_v since_o expostulate_v and_o complain_v of_o it_o to_o his_o majesty_n some_o be_v so_o bold_a as_o to_o say_v open_o that_o the_o parliament_n man_n shall_v set_v their_o house_n in_o order_n for_o many_o of_o they_o shall_v short_o have_v their_o head_n of_o one_o of_o which_o as_o since_o we_o be_v credible_o inform_v be_v one_o hurst_n a_o servant_n to_o one_o master_n william_n crofts_n in_o this_o which_o be_v say_v by_o the_o king_n you_o will_v see_v what_o reason_n we_o have_v to_o vindicate_v ourselves_o and_o therefore_o we_o immediate_o repair_v to_o the_o dean_n house_n with_o all_o the_o other_o gentleman_n and_o there_o we_o take_v notice_n of_o the_o rough_a usage_n we_o have_v receive_v we_o tell_v they_o that_o it_o be_v neither_o indiscretion_n nor_o disobedience_n in_o we_o as_o his_o majesty_n be_v please_v to_o call_v it_o to_o deliver_v the_o parliament_n message_n or_o to_o stay_v here_o though_o command_v to_o the_o contrary_a since_o we_o conceive_v no_o man_n need_v to_o be_v satisfy_v in_o so_o clear_a a_o case_n as_o this_o that_o every_o member_n of_o each_o house_n ought_v to_o obey_v their_o command_n when_o they_o be_v please_v to_o employ_v they_o but_o since_o his_o majesty_n think_v fit_a to_o bid_v they_o take_v heed_n of_o we_o not_o know_v what_o doctrine_n of_o disobedience_n we_o may_v preach_v to_o they_o under_o colour_n of_o obey_v the_o parliament_n we_o appeal_v to_o every_o man_n whether_o we_o have_v in_o word_n or_o deed_n in_o public_a or_o in_o private_a do_v any_o thing_n that_o become_v not_o honest_a man_n and_o person_n employ_v from_o the_o parliament_n that_o we_o have_v communicate_v our_o instruction_n to_o his_o majesty_n be_v that_o we_o will_v avow_v all_o our_o action_n and_o that_o we_o be_v confident_a it_o will_v not_o be_v say_v we_o have_v transgress_v they_o this_o be_v very_o well_o take_v and_o justify_v by_o the_o country_n yesterday_o there_o come_v divers_a thousand_o of_o freeholder_n to_o this_o city_n though_o none_o but_o the_o gentry_n be_v summon_v but_o receive_v a_o command_n from_o the_o king_n not_o to_o come_v to_o court_n they_o forbear_v and_o stay_v in_o the_o castle_n yard_n yet_o send_v this_o petition_n enclose_v to_o his_o majesty_n and_o receive_v the_o answer_n annex_v thereunto_o there_o be_v likewise_o a_o committee_n of_o twelve_o gentleman_n appoint_v yesternight_o to_o consider_v of_o draw_v up_o a_o answer_n to_o the_o king_n proposition_n concern_v a_o guard_n but_o nothing_o can_v be_v then_o do_v because_o it_o be_v pass_v three_o a_o clock_n before_o the_o gentleman_n be_v admit_v to_o the_o king_n this_o morning_n the_o freeholder_n assemble_v again_o in_o the_o castleyard_n and_o there_o they_o make_v this_o protestation_n enclose_v of_o their_o right_n of_o vote_v in_o what_o concern_v the_o peace_n of_o the_o country_n as_o have_v their_o interest_n therein_o when_o we_o all_o meet_v this_o morning_n again_o at_o the_o dean_n house_n we_o who_o be_v your_o committee_n receive_v this_o message_n by_o sir_n edward_n stanhop_n that_o he_o come_v from_o his_o majesty_n to_o command_v we_o that_o we_o shall_v depart_v from_o this_o meeting_n and_o if_o we_o do_v stay_v his_o majesty_n will_v judge_v we_o guilty_a of_o that_o he_o speak_v on_o yesterday_o which_o be_v tamper_n notwithstanding_o which_o command_n we_o read_v the_o four_o article_n of_o our_o instruction_n to_o the_o whole_a company_n that_o be_v pertinent_a to_o the_o business_n we_o be_v then_o upon_o and_o desire_v they_o to_o consider_v whether_o the_o parliament_n have_v not_o express_v therein_o such_o a_o care_n of_o the_o king_n safety_n that_o there_o will_v be_v little_a need_n of_o guard_n we_o tell_v they_o that_o we_o have_v a_o good_a right_n of_o be_v there_o as_o freeholder_n of_o the_o county_n but_o that_o in_o obedience_n to_o the_o king_n we_o will_v depart_v for_o this_o time_n but_o whensoever_o there_o shall_v be_v occasion_n of_o our_o be_v there_o in_o pursuance_n of_o our_o instruction_n and_o command_n from_o the_o parliament_n we_o shall_v be_v ready_a the_o whole_a company_n receive_v great_a satisfaction_n and_o desire_v a_o copy_n of_o that_o instruction_n which_o we_o give_v they_o we_o be_v the_o more_o willing_a at_o that_o time_n to_o go_v from_o thence_o because_o we_o shall_v not_o only_o give_v obedience_n to_o the_o king_n command_n which_o otherwise_o he_o will_v have_v say_v we_o constant_o disobey_v but_o because_o the_o committee_n of_o twelve_o appoint_v yesternight_o be_v then_o to_o withdraw_v so_o that_o there_o be_v nothing_o for_o the_o present_a for_o we_o to_o do_v we_o immediate_o go_v to_o the_o king_n and_o befought_a he_o that_o since_o we_o be_v continual_o so_o discountenance_v by_o he_o in_o the_o face_n of_o our_o county_n that_o he_o will_v be_v please_v to_o let_v we_o know_v in_o particular_a wherein_o we_o have_v give_v the_o occasion_n for_o we_o otherwise_o conceive_v we_o be_v deprive_v of_o that_o liberty_n which_o be_v our_o due_n in_o respect_n of_o that_o interest_n we_o have_v here_o his_o majesty_n be_v please_v to_o tell_v we_o that_o if_o we_o will_v lay_v aside_o that_o condition_n of_o committee_n from_o the_o parliament_n he_o will_v not_o hinder_v we_o to_o be_v there_o as_o gentleman_n of_o the_o country_n we_o humble_o reply_v that_o we_o can_v not_o lay_v that_o down_o nor_o can_v we_o be_v absent_a from_o any_o meeting_n where_o our_o presence_n be_v require_v for_o the_o service_n as_o committee_n from_o the_o parliament_n to_o which_o his_o majesty_n say_v that_o indeed_o he_o think_v we_o can_v not_o lay_v it_o down_o neither_o that_o it_o be_v reasonable_a we_o shall_v have_v vote_n and_o be_v in_o a_o double_a capacity_n the_o committee_n have_v be_v together_o most_o part_n of_o this_o day_n but_o not_o agree_v six_o of_o they_o have_v draw_v up_o this_o answer_n enclose_v which_o they_o have_v communicate_v to_o the_o gentleman_n and_o freeholder_n the_o great_a part_n of_o the_o gentleman_n and_o all_o the_o freeholder_n have_v agree_v too_o and_o subscribe_v it_o the_o other_o six_o have_v conclude_v upon_o this_o other_o answer_n consent_v to_o a_o guard_n of_o horse_n but_o this_o we_o do_v not_o hear_v that_o they_o have_v get_v many_o name_n too_o nor_o can_v we_o get_v a_o copy_n of_o those_o name_n as_o yet_o though_o these_o be_v very_o few_o yet_o whether_o they_o can_v bring_v in_o any_o horse_n or_o no_o we_o can_v yet_o judge_v the_o king_n have_v receive_v both_o these_o resolution_n which_o with_o his_o answer_n to_o they_o you_o shall_v likewise_o have_v here_o enclose_v his_o majesty_n have_v declare_v himself_o yesterday_o that_o he_o will_v raise_v that_o regiment_n which_o be_v sir_n robert_n strickland_n for_o his_o foot_n guard_n but_o he_o have_v now_o lay_v aside_o that_o resolution_n the_o freeholder_n of_o the_o county_n be_v now_o new_o summon_v to_o attend_v his_o majesty_n about_o a_o week_n hence_o
