so_o no_o room_n shall_v be_v leave_v for_o idleness_n in_o the_o world_n and_o though_o some_o have_v a_o near_a relation_n to_o god_n service_n than_o other_o and_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o nature_n of_o their_o call_v be_v more_o usual_o and_o proper_o honour_v with_o the_o title_n of_o god_n servant_n such_o as_o be_v all_o chief_a ruler_n and_o magistrate_n and_o the_o minister_n of_o god_n holy_a word_n and_o sacrament_n both_o which_o sort_n of_o person_n be_v emphatical_o call_v the_o servant_n of_o god_n those_o in_o govern_v and_o protect_v these_o in_o teach_v and_o instruct_v the_o people_n yet_o every_o honest_a and_o lawful_a employment_n do_v give_v a_o man_n a_o title_n to_o that_o honour_n too_o and_o what_o call_v or_o profession_n soever_o a_o man_n be_v of_o whether_o it_o be_v honourable_a or_o ignoble_a in_o outward_a appearance_n yet_o if_o he_o do_v but_o prosecute_v his_o business_n provide_v that_o it_o be_v a_o lawful_a business_n industrious_o and_o diligent_o and_o faithful_o according_a to_o the_o rule_n of_o christian_a prudence_n with_o sobriety_n and_o moderation_n he_o be_v even_o then_o about_o the_o service_n of_o god_n although_o he_o seem_v most_o busy_a about_o his_o own_o concern_v but_o 4._o four_o the_o last_o thing_n which_o i_o shall_v mention_v wherein_o god_n may_v be_v serve_v by_o we_o be_v a_o religious_a worship_v of_o he_o which_o consist_v in_o put_v up_o our_o fervent_a prayer_n to_o he_o and_o hearty_a praise_n of_o he_o supplicate_v his_o mercy_n and_o grace_n deprecate_v his_o wrath_n and_o vengeance_n call_v upon_o his_o holy_a name_n and_o attentive_o read_v or_o hear_v his_o holy_a word_n and_o that_o not_o only_o public_o when_o we_o be_v in_o the_o house_n of_o god_n but_o private_o also_o when_o we_o be_v seclude_v from_o company_n and_o all_o this_o be_v to_o be_v do_v in_o the_o most_o humble_a and_o devout_a posture_n the_o bend_n of_o our_o knee_n the_o bow_v of_o our_o body_n the_o lift_v up_o of_o our_o hand_n and_o eye_n and_o the_o like_a which_o be_v the_o most_o proper_a act_n whereof_o god_n outward_a worship_n do_v consist_v and_o whereby_o we_o testify_v our_o inward_a acknowledgement_n of_o that_o great_a and_o most_o adorable_a majesty_n which_o we_o come_v to_o worship_n the_o do_v of_o all_o which_o do_v often_o of_o its_o self_n bear_v the_o name_n of_o god_n service_n and_o indeed_o we_o can_v be_v true_o say_v to_o serve_v he_o whilst_o we_o wilful_o neglect_v or_o be_v very_o deficient_a in_o this_o duty_n and_o he_o that_o never_o or_o perhaps_o but_o seldom_o do_v thus_o worship_v the_o lord_n his_o maker_n he_o that_o be_v so_o intent_n upon_o his_o worldly_a concern_v as_o that_o he_o can_v or_o will_v not_o allow_v himself_o some_o time_n for_o the_o public_a and_o private_a worship_n of_o god_n do_v not_o in_o truth_n serve_v god_n but_o mammon_n now_o in_o these_o particular_n do_v the_o duty_n of_o serve_v god_n chief_o consist_v which_o that_o it_o may_v be_v the_o more_o acceptable_a unto_o he_o shall_v be_v attend_v with_o such_o qualification_n as_o these_o first_o with_o reverence_n for_o we_o shall_v continual_o carry_v about_o with_o we_o such_o a_o awful_a sense_n and_o apprehension_n of_o he_o as_o to_o make_v we_o walk_v humble_o with_o he_o such_o honourable_a and_o worthy_a thought_n as_o be_v suitable_a to_o the_o eminency_n of_o his_o state_n to_o his_o divine_a perfection_n to_o all_o his_o wise_a work_n and_o action_n such_o as_o be_v due_a unto_o and_o befit_v the_o majesty_n of_o so_o holy_a so_o pure_a and_o so_o glorious_a a_o god_n second_o with_o godly_a fear_n not_o a_o servile_a or_o a_o slavish_a fear_n such_o as_o the_o devil_n and_o all_o wicked_a man_n have_v for_o in_o that_o respect_n we_o shall_v serve_v god_n without_o fear_n but_o a_o fear_n which_o proceed_v from_o a_o love_n of_o he_o and_o a_o desire_n to_o please_v he_o such_o a_o fear_n as_o make_v we_o dread_v nothing_o more_o than_o to_o offend_v and_o displease_v he_o and_o last_o with_o gladness_n and_o cheerfulness_n of_o heart_n for_o it_o do_v not_o become_v the_o servant_n of_o god_n the_o great_a and_o the_o best_a of_o master_n who_o service_n be_v perfect_a freedom_n to_o do_v his_o business_n and_o to_o go_v about_o his_o work_n with_o heavy_a and_o mournful_a heart_n as_o if_o they_o serve_v a_o cruel_a and_o austere_a master_n but_o rather_o with_o all_o the_o cheerfulness_n and_o alacrity_n that_o they_o can_v and_o god_n himself_o in_o several_a place_n in_o his_o holy_a word_n have_v exhort_v we_o to_o rejoice_v to_o be_v glad_a to_o delight_v ourselves_o in_o he_o make_v it_o thereby_o sufficient_o evident_a that_o to_o serve_v he_o with_o gladness_n and_o cheerfulness_n of_o heart_n be_v agreeable_a to_o his_o will_n so_o as_o that_o we_o may_v serve_v god_n and_o be_v cheerful_a too_o and_o thus_o have_v show_v what_o it_o be_v to_o serve_v god_n wherein_o that_o duty_n do_v consist_v and_o what_o be_v the_o proper_a qualification_n of_o it_o i_o come_v now_o to_o ii_o the_o second_o thing_n which_o i_o propose_v to_o do_v and_o that_o be_v
