a_o objection_n that_o this_o distinction_n concern_v not_o truth_n or_o error_n but_o the_o manner_n of_o hold_v or_o divulge_v master_n cotton_n affirm_v the_o distinction_n to_o speak_v express_o mean_n and_o power_n of_o christ_n jesus_n and_o i_o further_o ask_v if_o faithful_a admonition_n be_v not_o one_o good_a mean_n of_o heal_a and_o if_o that_o lie_v not_o in_o the_o church_n power_n and_o if_o the_o hypocrite_n after_o faithful_a admonition_n once_o or_o twice_o submit_v not_o to_o the_o voice_n of_o christ_n jesus_n i_o ask_v where_o the_o lord_n jesus_n command_v to_o make_v a_o stop_n and_o not_o to_o cast_v forth_o and_o reject_v whosoever_o wilful_o obstinate_a peace_n doubtless_o dear_a truth_n many_o will_v be_v apt_a to_o say_v master_n cotton_n intend_v secret_a and_o close_a hypocrisy_n truth_n and_o i_o doubt_v not_o but_o himself_o will_v say_v that_o this_o be_v not_o our_o question_n but_o of_o know_v and_o unmask_v hypocrisy_n as_o himself_o have_v former_o declare_v and_o such_o as_o here_o he_o express_v come_v under_o ordinance_n of_o heal_a peace_n but_o further_o say_v master_n cotton_n it_o be_v not_o true_a that_o antichristian_o be_v to_o be_v let_v alone_o until_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n why_o because_o christ_n command_v excommunication_n etc._n etc._n truth_n i_o be_o astonish_v and_o wonder_v why_o master_n cotton_n here_o speak_v of_o excommunication_n a_o spiritual_a ordinance_n of_o christ_n jesus_n in_o his_o spiritual_a kingdom_n or_o city_n when_o the_o dispute_n only_o concern_v temporal_a excommunication_n or_o cut_v off_o let_v they_o alone_o that_o be_v in_o civil_a state_n i_o wonder_v also_o how_o he_o shall_v imagine_v the_o discusser_v in_o this_o chapter_n to_o affirm_v that_o antichristian_o be_v to_o be_v let_v alone_o in_o the_o church_n unto_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n when_o it_o be_v the_o very_a scope_n of_o his_o argument_n in_o this_o chapter_n to_o prove_v that_o the_o speech_n of_o christ_n jesus_n let_v they_o alone_o must_v needs_o be_v understand_v of_o let_v idolater_n and_o antichristian_o alone_o in_o the_o civil_a state_n and_o in_o the_o world_n because_o otherwise_o if_o he_o have_v mean_v let_v they_o alone_o in_o the_o church_n he_o shall_v contradict_v himself_o who_o have_v appoint_v mean_n for_o the_o disturb_v and_o purge_v out_o the_o corrupt_a leaven_n both_o of_o person_n and_o practice_n out_o of_o his_o church_n and_o kingdom_n peace_n the_o same_o answer_n indeed_o will_v easy_o be_v return_v to_o his_o last_o supposition_n of_o any_o popish_a spirit_n conspire_v against_o the_o life_n of_o king_n and_o parliament_n the_o whole_a scope_n of_o this_o book_n profess_v and_o in_o this_o chapter_n the_o discusser_v profess_o argue_v that_o christ_n jesus_n have_v appoint_v that_o civil_a offender_n against_o the_o civil_a state_n ought_v not_o to_o be_v let_v alone_o but_o master_n cotton_n add_v if_o popish_a priest_n and_o jesuit_n be_v right_o expound_v to_o be_v the_o river_n and_o fountain_n of_o water_n which_o drive_v the_o dead_a sea_n of_o antichristian_a pollution_n up_o and_o down_o
