virtue_n of_o this_o act_n and_o of_o the_o disbursment_n thereof_o and_o if_o the_o say_a collector_n and_o treasurer_n shall_v not_o within_o six_o week_n next_o after_o demand_n of_o such_o account_n give_v in_o the_o same_o according_o or_o if_o thereupon_o it_o shall_v appear_v that_o the_o say_a money_n shall_v not_o be_v due_o disburse_v in_o and_o about_o the_o say_a repair_n and_o the_o work_n for_o the_o secure_n and_o maintenance_n of_o the_o say_a harbour_n according_a to_o the_o intent_n of_o this_o act_n or_o if_o the_o say_a harbour_n shall_v within_o the_o time_n aforesaid_a be_v sufficient_o repair_v and_o secure_v that_o then_o the_o say_a master_n and_o warden_n shall_v inform_v the_o lord_n of_o his_o majesty_n privy_a council_n thereof_o who_o shall_v and_o may_v thereupon_o and_o to_o that_o purpose_n be_v hereby_o empower_v to_o suspend_v or_o cause_v all_o and_o every_o further_a payment_n by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n to_o cease_v and_o determine_v if_o they_o shall_v see_v cause_n regis_fw-la proviso_n for_o ship_n belong_v to_o weymouth_n melcomb-regis_a lime_n regis_fw-la provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o oath_n before_o the_o mayor_n and_o under_o the_o common_a seal_n of_o the_o say_v respective_a corporation_n that_o the_o say_a ship_n and_o vessel_n do_v proper_o belong_v thereunto_o and_o that_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o the_o say_v respective_a corporation_n be_v owner_n of_o the_o major_a part_n of_o the_o say_a vessel_n provide_v always_o and_o be_v it_o hereby_o enact_v that_o this_o act_n west-riding_a be_v and_o shall_v be_v as_o be_v hereby_o limit_v and_o appoint_v viz_o that_o every_o cloth_n call_v by_o the_o name_n of_o a_o end_n or_o half_a cloth_n shall_v be_v betwixt_o fifteen_o yard_n and_o eighteen_o yard_n in_o length_n in_o the_o water_n and_o not_o to_o excee_v and_o one_o yard_n and_o a_o half_a in_o breadth_n at_o the_o least_o within_o the_o list_n and_o book_n and_o paper_n by_o warrant_n under_o his_o majesty_n sign_n manual_n or_o under_o the_o hand_n of_o one_o or_o more_o of_o his_o majesty_n principal_a secretary_n of_o state_n or_o the_o master_n and_o warden_n of_o the_o say_a company_n of_o stationer_n or_o any_o one_o of_o they_o shall_v have_v power_n and_o authority_n with_o a_o constable_n to_o take_v unto_o they_o such_o assistance_n as_o they_o shall_v think_v needful_a and_o at_o what_o time_n they_o shall_v think_v fit_a to_o search_v all_o house_n and_o shop_n where_o they_o shall_v know_v or_o upon_o some_o probable_a reason_n suspect_v any_o book_n or_o paper_n to_o be_v print_v bind_v or_o stitch_v especial_o printing-house_n bookseller_n shop_n and_o warehouse_n and_o bookbinders_a house_n and_o shop_n and_o to_o view_v there_o what_o be_v imprint_v bind_v or_o stitch_v and_o to_o examine_v whether_o the_o same_o be_v license_v and_o to_o demand_v a_o sight_n of_o the_o say_a licence_n and_o if_o the_o say_a book_n so_o imprint_v bind_v or_o stitch_v shall_v not_o be_v license_v then_o to_o seize_v upon_o so_o much_o thereof_o as_o shall_v be_v find_v imprint_v together_o with_o the_o several_a offender_n and_o to_o bring_v they_o before_o one_o or_o more_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n who_o be_v hereby_o authorize_v and_o require_v to_o commit_v such_o offender_n to_o prison_n to_o bring_v the_o same_o unto_o the_o say_a lord_n archbishop_n of_o canterbury_n and_z lord_z bishop_n of_o london_n for_o the_o time_n be_v or_o one_o of_o they_o or_o to_o the_o secretary_n of_o state_n or_o one_o of_o they_o respective_o who_o shall_v take_v such_o further_a course_n for_o the_o suppress_n thereof_o as_o to_o they_o or_o any_o of_o they_o shall_v seem_v fit_a and_o be_v it_o ordain_v and_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o all_o and_o every_o printer_n and_o printer_n of_o book_n founder_n and_o founder_n of_o letter_n for_o printing_n and_o all_o and_o every_o other_o person_n and_o person_n work_v in_o or_o for_o the_o say_a trade_n punish_v offender_n against_o this_o act_n how_o to_o be_v punish_v who_o from_o and_o after_o the_o ten_o day_n of_o june_n in_o in_o the_o year_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o sixty_o and_o two_o shall_v offend_v against_o this_o present_a act_n or_o any_o article_n clause_n or_o thing_n herein_o contain_v and_o shall_v before_o any_o public_a vend_v of_o the_o say_a book_n bring_v they_o to_o the_o master_n of_o the_o company_n of_o stationer_n and_o deliver_v they_o to_o he_o one_o whereof_z shall_v be_v deliver_v to_o the_o keeper_n of_o his_o majesty_n library_n and_o the_o other_o two_o to_o be_v send_v to_o the_o vicechancellor_n of_o the_o two_o university_n respective_o for_o the_o use_n of_o the_o public_a library_n of_o the_o say_a university_n university_n proviso_n for_o the_o privilege_n of_o the_o two_o university_n provide_v always_o that_o nothing_o in_o this_o act_n contain_v shall_v be_v construe_v to_o extend_v to_o the_o prejudice_n or_o infringe_n of_o any_o the_o just_a right_n and_o privilege_n of_o either_o of_o the_o two_o university_n of_o this_o realm_n touch_v and_o concern_v the_o licens_v or_o print_v of_o book_n in_o either_o of_o the_o say_a university_n house_n peer_n house_n provide_v always_o that_o no_o search_n shall_v be_v at_o any_o time_n make_v in_o the_o house_n or_o house_n of_o any_o the_o péer_v of_o this_o realm_n or_o of_o any_o other_o person_n or_o person_n not_o be_v free_a of_o or_o use_v any_o of_o the_o trade_n in_o this_o act_n before_o mention_v but_o by_o special_a warrant_n from_o the_o king_n majesty_n under_o his_o sign_n manual_n or_o under_o the_o hand_n of_o one_o or_o both_o of_o his_o majesty_n principal_a secretary_n of_o state_n or_o for_o any_o other_o book_n than_o such_o as_o be_v in_o print_v or_o shall_v be_v print_v after_o the_o ten_o of_o june_n 1662._o and_o thing_n in_o this_o act_n to_o the_o contrary_a thereof_o in_o any_o wise_n notwithstanding_o london_n proviso_n for_o bookseller_n and_o stationer_n london_n provide_v also_o that_o neither_o this_o act_n nor_o any_o thing_n sell_v book_n or_o paper_n within_o westminster-hall_n the_o palace_n of_o westminster_n or_o in_o any_o shop_n or_o shop_n within_o twenty_o yard_n of_o the_o great_a gate_n of_o westminster-hall_n aforesaid_a before_o
or_o the_o like_a for_o the_o better_a carry_v on_o of_o this_o service_n pension_n not_o exceed_v six_o penny_n in_o the_o pound_n for_o their_o salary_n the_o revenue_n to_o be_v pay_v into_o the_o exchequer_n and_o not_o to_o be_v charge_v with_o any_o gift_n or_o pension_n as_o he_o and_o they_o shall_v think_v fit_a so_o as_o the_o salary_n and_o wage_n of_o all_o such_o officer_n to_o be_v appoint_v together_o with_o the_o salary_n or_o wage_n of_o his_o majesty_n say_v agent_n do_v not_o excee_v six_o penny_n in_o the_o pound_n of_o the_o revenue_n that_o shall_v hence_o arise_v and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o rent_n revenue_n and_o sum_n of_o money_n hence_o arise_v except_o what_o shall_v be_v allow_v for_o the_o wage_n and_o salary_n of_o such_o officer_n and_o minister_n which_o be_v not_o to_o excee_v six_o penny_n out_o of_o every_o pound_n thereof_o shall_v be_v due_o and_o constant_o pay_v and_o answer_v into_o his_o majesty_n receipt_n of_o exchequer_n and_o shall_v not_o be_v particular_o charge_v or_o chargeable_a either_o before_o it_o be_v pay_v into_o the_o exchequer_n or_o after_o with_o any_o gift_n or_o pension_n and_o his_o majesty_n say_v agent_n be_v hereby_o enjoin_v and_o require_v to_o return_v into_o the_o court_n of_o exchequer_n grant_v the_o agent_n to_o return_v into_o the_o exchequer_n in_o michaelmas_n &_o easter_n term_n what_o licenses_fw-la they_o have_v grant_v every_o michaelmas_n and_o easter_n term_n upon_o their_o oath_n which_o oath_n the_o baron_n of_o the_o exchequer_n syrup_n whatsoever_o nor_o put_v in_o any_o isinglass_n brimstone_n lime_n raisin_n juice_n of_o raisin_n water_n nor_o any_o other_o liquor_n nor_o ingredient_n nor_o any_o clary_n or_o other_o herb_n nor_o any_o sort_n of_o flesh_n whatsoever_o and_o that_o no_o merchant_n vintner_z wine-cooper_n or_o other_o person_n sell_v or_o retail_v any_o wine_n shall_v mingle_v or_o utter_v any_o french_a wine_n mingle_v with_o any_o rhenish_a wine_n or_o spanish_a wine_n cider_n perry_n stummed_a wine_n vitriol_n honey_n sugar_n syrup_n of_o sugar_n molass_n or_o any_o syrup_n whatsoever_o their_o executor_n administrator_n or_o assign_v successive_o without_o preference_n of_o one_o before_o the_o other_o and_o not_o otherwise_o and_o if_o any_o undue_a preference_n be_v make_v in_o enter_v of_o any_o gold_n or_o silver_n or_o deliver_v out_o of_o any_o money_n coin_v contrary_a to_o the_o true_a intent_n and_o meaning_n of_o this_o act_n by_o any_o officer_n or_o officer_n of_o the_o mint_n or_o mint_n penalty_n penalty_n then_o the_o party_n or_o party_n offend_v shall_v be_v liable_a by_o action_n of_o debt_n or_o in_o the_o case_n to_o pay_v the_o value_n of_o the_o or_o their_o deputy_n or_o deputy_n clerk_n or_o clerk_n without_o direction_n or_o privity_n of_o he_o or_o their_o master_n or_o master_n than_o such_o deputy_n or_o deputy_n clerk_n or_o clerk_n
