his_o master_n son_n begin_v his_o matter_n with_o prayer_n gen._n 24._o 12._o etc._n etc._n so_o do_v isaac_n also_o as_o it_o appear_v in_o the_o same_o chapter_n verse_n 60._o when_o any_o have_v determine_v with_o themselves_o to_o marry_v and_o have_v use_v all_o diligence_n thereto_o require_v they_o must_v desire_v of_o god_n by_o humble_a and_o earnest_a prayer_n good_a and_o prosperous_a shall_v have_v charge_n of_o as_o commit_v to_o their_o trust_n and_o keep_n they_o careful_o see_v such_o thing_n so_o well_o and_o orderly_o place_v and_o lay_v up_o that_o if_o there_o shall_v be_v to_o check_v and_o reprove_v she_o before_o witness_n for_o indeed_o thereof_o it_o come_v that_o woman_n not_o be_v able_a to_o bear_v that_o disgrace_n will_v reply_v and_o so_o ptovoke_v strife_n and_o dissension_n in_o open_a presence_n which_o will_v redound_v to_o great_a reproach_n and_o offence_n and_o therefore_o as_o the_o husband_n must_v not_o flatter_v his_o wife_n so_o he_o must_v not_o reprove_v she_o before_o stranger_n a_o wise_a husband_n and_o one_o that_o seek_v to_o live_v in_o quiet_a with_o his_o wife_n must_v observe_v these_o three_o rule_n often_o to_o admonish_v seldom_o to_o reprove_v and_o never_o to_o smite_v she_o let_v the_o husband_n also_o remember_v that_o the_o infirmity_n of_o his_o wife_n must_v be_v either_o take_v away_o or_o bear_v witball_n so_o that_o he_o that_o can_v take_v they_o quite_o away_o make_v his_o wife_n far_o more_o commodious_a and_o fit_a for_o his_o purpose_n and_o he_o that_o can_v bear_v with_o they_o make_v himself_o with_o he_o under_o the_o conduct_n and_o government_n of_o her_o head_n and_o in_o that_o respect_n the_o husband_n be_v not_o to_o command_v his_o wife_n in_o such_o manner_n as_o the_o master_n his_o servant_n but_o as_o the_o soul_n do_v the_o body_n as_o be_v conjoin_v in_o like_a affection_n and_o good_a wil._n for_o as_o the_o soul_n in_o govern_v the_o body_n tend_v to_o the_o benefit_n and_o commodity_n of_o the_o same_o so_o ought_v the_o dominion_n and_o commandment_n of_o the_o husband_n over_o his_o wife_n to_o tend_v to_o rejoice_v and_o content_v she_o to_o conclude_v as_o god_n have_v testify_v his_o singular_a goodness_n unto_o man_n in_o create_v he_o a_o helper_n to_o assist_v he_o so_o let_v he_o consider_v in_o how_o many_o sort_n she_o be_v to_o he_o a_o helper_n to_o pass_v over_o this_o life_n in_o blessedness_n and_o let_v this_o daily_a seek_v of_o such_o a_o benefit_n receive_v at_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n induce_v and_o stir_v he_o up_o to_o render_v thanks_o and_o to_o dispose_v himself_o to_o use_v it_o well_o to_o his_o own_o comfort_n and_o salvation_n and_o not_o to_o abuse_v it_o to_o the_o destruction_n both_o of_o himself_o and_o his_o servant_n and_o earnest_a prayer_n to_o god_n that_o the_o devil_n prevail_v not_o against_o they_o by_o such_o too_o early_a disagreement_n for_o as_o two_o board_n if_o at_o the_o first_o they_o be_v not_o well_o couple_v and_o join_v together_o be_v never_o fasten_v right_o afterward_o but_o if_o the_o first_o couple_v and_o join_v together_o be_v good_a then_o can_v there_o afterward_o no_o violence_n drive_v the_o board_n asunder_o yea_o the_o whole_a board_n do_v soon_o break_v than_o the_o glew_v of_o they_o together_o even_o so_o the_o husband_n and_o wife_n must_v be_v very_o careful_a and_o diligent_a that_o their_o first_o cohabitation_n and_o dwell_n together_o be_v love_v delectable_a and_o friendly_a and_o not_o separate_v through_o any_o well_o spiteful_a contention_n or_o discord_n so_o shall_v the_o whole_a estate_n of_o their_o marriage_n be_v more_o comfortable_a and_o prosper_v the_o better_a so_o long_o as_o they_o shall_v live_v and_o though_o there_o happen_v to_o arise_v any_o spark_n of_o discord_n betwixt_o they_o yet_o let_v they_o beware_v that_o at_o the_o last_o there_o be_v not_o too_o much_o displeasure_n disdain_n and_o inconvenience_n kindle_v thereby_o for_o if_o at_o the_o first_o dwell_v together_o there_o shall_v fall_v out_o such_o unto_o wardness_n and_o uncomely_a discord_n then_o will_v it_o now_o and_o then_o be_v break_v out_o even_o as_o it_o fare_v with_o great_a wound_n and_o break_a leg_n or_o arm_n which_o seldom_o be_v so_o thorough_o heal_v but_o sometime_o they_o have_v pain_n at_o the_o change_n of_o the_o weather_n so_o likewise_o if_o marry_a folk_n behave_v themselves_o thus_o untoward_o and_o unhonest_o the_o one_o towards_o the_o other_o at_o the_o first_o and_o if_o larre_n and_o discord_n be_v once_o begin_v between_o they_o the_o old_a canker_n of_o hatred_n will_v breed_v again_o though_o it_o be_v scale_v afterward_o let_v the_o one_o therefore_o learn_v betimes_o to_o be_v acquaint_v with_o the_o nature_n and_o condition_n of_o the_o other_o and_o to_o apply_v themselves_o according_a to_o the_o same_o in_o as_o much_o as_o they_o must_v needs_o dwell_v together_o one_o to_o enjoy_v another_o and_o the_o one_o to_o live_v and_o die_v with_o the_o other_o and_o so_o steadfast_o and_o unfeigned_o to_o love_v one_o the_o other_o that_o neither_o of_o they_o have_v any_o thing_n so_o dear_a which_o they_o can_v be_v content_a to_o give_v and_o bestow_v one_o upon_o the_o other_o yea_o even_o their_o own_o life_n if_o need_v require_v and_o therefore_o husband_n and_o wife_n must_v even_o at_o the_o begin_n of_o their_o marriage_n give_v their_o diligence_n that_o all_o injury_n &_o offence_n may_v be_v avoid_v for_o tender_a and_o lose_a love_n be_v soon_o dissolve_a and_o break_v so_o that_o this_o new_a love_n and_o conjunction_n of_o the_o mind_n must_v be_v nourish_v
with_o benign_a sweet_a and_o gentle_a conversation_n until_o it_o be_v so_o increase_v and_o fasten_v that_o no_o great_a storm_n be_v able_a to_o dissolve_v and_o break_v it_o and_o all_o suspicion_n must_v be_v at_o all_o time_n but_o especial_o at_o the_o begin_n of_o matrimony_n eschew_v and_o shun_v lest_o they_o shall_v first_o begin_v to_o hate_v or_o ever_o they_o begin_v to_o
