your_o eye_n as_o a_o goad_n to_o stir_v you_o up_o to_o this_o obedience_n that_o in_o so_o do_v you_o shall_v not_o only_o please_v your_o parent_n but_o do_v a_o thing_n acceptable_a to_o the_o lord_n himself_o you_o parent_n abuse_v not_o your_o authority_n or_o the_o pliable_a mind_n of_o your_o child_n either_o by_o command_a thing_n unlawful_a or_o by_o hard_a usage_n of_o they_o to_o provoke_v they_o to_o any_o undutifulnesse_n towards_o you_o or_o to_o have_v no_o courage_n or_o comfort_n to_o do_v the_o thing_n require_v of_o they_o the_o sum_n of_o all_o which_o be_v a_o but_o from_o the_o lord_n after_o the_o apostle_n do_v set_v down_o a_o notable_a exposition_n 18._o verse_n 18._o of_o the_o five_o commandment_n 1._o beginning_n at_o the_o duty_n of_o the_o near_a bond_n and_o first_o he_o set_v the_o duty_n of_o the_o inferior_n to_o the_o superior_n and_o first_o he_o show_v forth_o the_o duty_n of_o those_o which_o owe_v common_a duty_n together_o one_o to_o another_o mutual_o as_o husband_n and_o wife_n and_o then_o the_o duty_n of_o they_o joint_o to_o those_o that_o be_v underneath_o they_o both_o and_o this_o be_v the_o order_n which_o the_o apostle_n use_v who_o have_v set_v down_o general_a duty_n of_o christianity_n before_o he_o now_o come_v to_o particular_a thereby_o insinuate_v that_o those_o that_o have_v labour_v to_o observe_v the_o general_a as_o of_o holiness_n temperancy_n long-suffering_a love_n etc._n etc._n they_o shall_v more_o easy_o perform_v these_o particular_a duty_n this_o be_v a_o notable_a doctrine_n and_o therefore_o we_o see_v jethro_n counsel_v moses_n to_o choose_v such_o 21._o exod._n 18._o 21._o ruler_n to_o help_v he_o as_o hate_a covetousness_n this_o be_v a_o general_a duty_n to_o hate_v covetousness_n note_v that_o if_o they_o be_v faithful_a in_o that_o they_o will_v be_v good_a governor_n and_o magistrate_n and_o captain_n and_o therefore_o we_o see_v joseph_n have_v all_o which_o his_o master_n have_v 9_o gen._n 39_o 5._o 9_o under_o his_o hand_n save_o his_o wife_n be_v say_v to_o have_v order_v all_o thing_n well_o the_o reason_n be_v because_o he_o fear_v god_n that_o be_v because_o he_o have_v the_o general_a duty_n again_o therefore_o we_o see_v that_o servant_n by_o the_o general_a duty_n of_o do_v their_o duty_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n be_v persuade_v to_o obedience_n to_o their_o master_n so_o that_o this_o be_v to_o teach_v we_o to_o labour_v principal_o for_o to_o have_v the_o love_n and_o fear_n of_o god_n and_o to_o do_v our_o duty_n as_o
