flock_n but_o seldeine_a yet_o that_o will_v do_v they_o much_o good_a for_o i_o pray_v you_o let_v i_o ask_v you_o this_o question_n if_o one_o of_o they_o have_v 2._o benefice_n in_o both_o which_o he_o can_v at_o one_o time_n be_v resident_a if_o he_o spend_v half_a in_o another_o be_v it_o not_o almost_o as_o good_a as_o if_o he_o be_v always_o at_o one_o of_o they_o gen._n this_o difference_n there_o be_v that_o where_o as_o the_o careful_a minister_n be_v always_o resident_a to_o defend_v his_o sheep_n from_o their_o enemy_n the_o devil_n which_o do_v continual_o watch_v for_o spoil_n be_v ready_a to_o devour_v they_o may_v stand_v they_o in_o as_o good_a steed_n as_o a_o strong_a defence_n against_o all_o the_o assault_n of_o satan_n so_o such_o a_o one_o as_o you_o speak_v of_o that_o be_v a_o long_a time_n from_o they_o may_v have_v in_o his_o absence_n his_o flock_n scatter_v and_o so_o he_o himself_o be_v find_v a_o negligent_a shepherd_n par._n but_o he_o may_v so_o apply_v they_o at_o his_o be_v among_o they_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v able_a to_o spare_v he_o a_o while_n without_o any_o danger_n gen._n true_o m._n parson_n i_o can_v tell_v you_o the_o devil_n be_v a_o subtle_a bird_n and_o the_o shepherd_n shall_v no_o soon_o be_v from_o his_o flock_n but_o he_o will_v be_v among_o they_o and_o if_o the_o minister_n have_v two_o benefice_n when_o he_o be_v at_o one_o the_o devil_n will_v be_v at_o another_o so_o that_o you_o may_v now_o see_v how_o needful_a it_o be_v for_o the_o pastor_n to_o be_v always_o among_o his_o flock_n since_o satan_n be_v so_o greedy_a to_o work_v they_o their_o utter_a destruction_n par._n but_o if_o all_o this_o that_o i_o have_v tell_v you_o will_v not_o suffice_v yet_o if_o the_o worst_a fall_n out_o they_o that_o have_v so_o many_o livinge_n that_o they_o can_v be_v at_o they_o all_o at_o one_o time_n may_v in_o their_o absence_n place_n honest_a minister_n that_o may_v supply_v their_o rooure_n almost_o as_o well_o as_o themselves_o gen._n what_o do_v you_o mean_v that_o other_o shall_v feed_v an_o they_o will_v sheer_a that_o they_o shall_v have_v the_o hire_n and_o other_o do_v the_o work_n that_o they_o shall_v but_o bear_v the_o name_n of_o pastor_n and_o live_v by_o the_o sweat_n of_o other_o man_n brow_n be_v this_o that_o you_o mean_v by_o other_o supply_v of_o the_o room_n par._n true_o my_o meaning_n be_v that_o in_o the_o absence_n of_o the_o pastor_n he_o shall_v place_v one_o among_o his_o flock_n that_o may_v keep_v they_o in_o order_n gen._n what_o will_v you_o that_o he_o and_o therefore_o he_o will_v have_v a_o minister_n not_o to_o be_v 3.6_o be_v 1._o time_n 3.6_o a_o young_a scholar_n but_o such_o a_o one_o as_o be_v 10._o be_v ver_fw-la 10._o already_o able_a to_o take_v care_n of_o his_o charge_n and_o 2.24_o and_o 2._o time_n 2.24_o apt_a to_o teach_v before_o he_o take_v so_o weighty_a a_o matter_n in_o hand_n par._n then_o if_o it_o be_v so_o that_o he_o must_v first_o be_v a_o good_a scholar_n and_o able_a to_o teach_v before_o he_o take_v on_o he_o the_o ministry_n there_o be_v good_a reason_n that_o he_o shall_v use_v the_o mean_n that_o he_o may_v continue_v his_o knowledge_n and_o therefore_o he_o may_v lawful_o be_v allow_v two_o or_o three_o benefice_n that_o he_o may_v furnish_v himself_o like_o a_o scholar_n and_o provide_v he_o book_n without_o the_o which_o he_o can_v study_v gen._n why_o be_v they_o now_o so_o dear_a that_o they_o must_v sell_v soul_n to_o buy_v book_n you_o do_v not_o see_v how_o you_o overshoote_v yourself_o in_o your_o talk_n master_n parson_n for_o you_o think_v it_o no_o matter_n though_o many_o soul_n go_v to_o the_o devil_n so_o that_o one_o man_n study_n may_v be_v well_o furnish_v par._n i_o know_v there_o be_v some_o that_o can_v answer_v you_o for_o these_o matter_n if_o they_o be_v here_o and_o prove_v that_o they_o may_v lawful_o have_v more_o benefice_n than_o you_o be_v willing_a that_o will_v do_v some_o good_a do_v you_o not_o think_v so_o gen._n i_o think_v the_o name_n of_o a_o preacher_n only_o will_v do_v the_o people_n so_o much_o good_a as_o the_o smell_n of_o a_o mess_n of_o pottage_n to_o a_o hungry_a body_n or_o a_o empty_a pot_n to_o a_o thirsty_a soul_n which_o be_v no_o good_a at_o all_o but_o do_v cause_v he_o to_o languish_v in_o vain_a with_o a_o earnest_a desire_n to_o have_v that_o which_o he_o can_v not_o obtain_v if_o this_o be_v all_o that_o you_o can_v say_v master_n parson_n i_o perceive_v you_o want_v skill_n to_o defend_v so_o bad_a a_o cause_n
