DIEV ET MON DROIT HONI SOIT QVI MAL Y PENSE By the King A PROCLAMATION For Incouragement of the further Discovery of the Popish Plot. CHARLES R. WE out of Our Princely Care for Securing the True Protestant Religion and to satisfie the minds of all Our Loving Subjects therein have thought fit for the more effectual Discovery and Suppression of the most Horrid and Execrable Popish Plot and the Incouragement of all Persons who have any knowledge thereof to make Discovery of the same to set forth this Our Royal Proclamation hereby Promising and Assuring Our Free and Gracious Pardon to all and every Person and Persons who within Two Months next ensuing the Date of these Presents shall come in and give further Information and Evidence concerning the said Popish Plot. Given at Our Court at Whitehall the Thirtieth day of October 1680. In the Two and thirtieth year of Our Reign God save the King LONDON Printed by John Bill Thomas Newcomb and Henry Hills Printers to the Kings most Excellent Majesty 1680.
