his_o majesty_n gracious_a letter_n to_o the_o privy_a council_n of_o scotland_n for_o adjourn_v the_o parliament_n william_n r._n right_o trusty_a and_o right_a entire_o belove_a cousin_n and_o counsellor_n right_o trusty_a and_o entire_o belove_a cousin_n and_o counsellor_n right_o trusty_a and_o right_a well_o belove_v cousin_n and_o counsellor_n right_a trusty_a and_o well_o belove_a cousin_n and_o counsellor_n right_a trusty_a and_o well_o belove_a counsellor_n and_o trusty_a and_o well_o belove_a counsellor_n we_o greet_v you_o well_o the_o earnest_a desire_n we_o have_v of_o bring_v all_o the_o counsel_n and_o deliberation_n of_o our_o parliament_n to_o a_o happy_a close_n and_o with_o as_o general_a satisfaction_n as_o be_v possible_a move_v we_o upon_o some_o very_a serious_a consideration_n to_o stop_v their_o proceed_n for_o a_o very_a short_a time_n until_o some_o matter_n before_o they_o be_v so_o prepare_v and_o some_o interest_n so_o adjust_v as_o their_o unanimity_n thereafter_o may_v encourage_v all_o good_a man_n and_o disappoint_v those_o who_o be_v as_o well_o enemy_n to_o our_o parliament_n as_o to_o we_o place_n much_o of_o their_o vain_a hope_n upon_o apparent_a division_n among_o they_o if_o our_o affair_n here_o have_v allow_v our_o presence_n with_o they_o as_o we_o once_o design_v we_o shall_v have_v judge_v this_o worthy_a of_o our_o immediate_a endeavour_n but_o in_o our_o absence_n we_o have_v recommend_v to_o the_o lord_n melvill_n our_o commissioner_n in_o who_o fidelity_n to_o we_o unstained_a affection_n to_o religion_n and_o to_o the_o national_a interest_n our_o parliament_n as_o well_o as_o we_o may_v just_o confide_v to_o take_v such_o method_n for_o remove_v these_o evil_n with_o their_o cause_n as_o may_v best_o conduce_v to_o prepare_v matter_n for_o their_o consideration_n and_o bring_v our_o good_a subject_n to_o that_o concord_n and_o unity_n in_o our_o service_n as_o shall_v make_v we_o hope_v that_o meet_v to_o be_v call_v the_o happy_a and_o heal_a parliament_n we_o therefore_o require_v you_o forthwith_o to_o adjourn_v the_o meeting_n of_o our_o parliament_n from_o the_o twenty_o seven_o day_n of_o march_n instant_n to_o the_o fifteen_o day_n of_o april_n thereafter_o and_o to_o issue_v forth_o a_o proclamation_n in_o our_o name_n continue_v and_o adjourn_v our_o parliament_n to_o the_o say_a day_n and_o require_v all_o the_o member_n thereof_o to_o be_v present_a then_o in_o the_o usual_a manner_n at_o the_o accustom_a place_n and_o under_o the_o certification_n appoint_v by_o our_o law_n for_o do_v whereof_o this_o shall_v be_v to_o our_o commissioner_n and_o to_o you_o a_o sufficient_a warrant_n and_o so_o we_o bid_v you_o hearty_o farewell_o give_v at_o our_o court_n at_o kensingtoun_n the_o twenty_o day_n of_o march_n 1689_o 90._o and_o of_o our_o reign_n the_o first_o year_n
