c_o r_o honi_fw-fr soit_fw-fr qvi_fw-fr mal_fw-fr y_fw-fr pense_fw-fr by_o the_o king_n a_o proclamation_n for_o recall_v private_a commission_n or_o letter_n of_o marque_n charles_n rex_fw-la whereas_o by_o his_o majesty_n authority_n for_o just_a and_o urgent_a cause_n he_o move_v private_a commission_n or_o letter_n of_o marque_n have_v be_v grant_v to_o some_o of_o his_o subject_n for_o the_o apprehend_n take_v and_o seize_v of_o the_o ship_n and_o good_n belong_v to_o the_o state_n of_o the_o unite_a province_n and_o the_o inhabitant_n there_o but_o the_o same_o do_v not_o extend_v nor_o be_v intend_v to_o be_v any_o way_n prejudicial_a to_o his_o majesty_n friend_n or_o ally_n nevertheless_o his_o majesty_n have_v receive_v divers_a advertisement_n and_o complaint_n from_o foreign_a minister_n that_o by_o colour_n of_o the_o say_v private_a commission_n or_o letter_n of_o marque_n the_o ship_n and_o good_n of_o the_o subject_n of_o his_o majesty_n friend_n and_o ally_n have_v be_v and_o be_v frequent_o take_v and_o seize_v to_o their_o great_a vexation_n and_o damage_n wherein_o his_o majesty_n do_v not_o deem_v it_o enough_o that_o they_o may_v have_v reparation_n in_o ordinary_a course_n of_o justice_n but_o for_o prevent_v all_o occasion_n of_o the_o like_a for_o the_o future_a and_o to_o the_o end_n when_o any_o other_o shall_v be_v hereafter_o grant_v care_n may_v be_v take_v for_o the_o better_a regulation_n and_o govern_n of_o they_o do_v by_o this_o his_o proclamation_n by_o the_o advise_v of_o his_o privy_a council_n declare_v and_o publish_v his_o will_n and_o pleasure_n to_o be_v that_o from_o and_o after_o the_o fourteen_o day_n of_o february_n now_o next_o come_n all_o private_a commission_n or_o letter_n of_o marque_n whatsoever_o grant_v to_o any_o who_o have_v thereupon_o set_v forth_o any_o ship_n or_o vessel_n out_o of_o the_o realm_n of_o england_n or_o ireland_n shall_v cease_v and_o determine_v and_o by_o that_o time_n be_v deliver_v up_o and_o vacate_v and_o from_o thenceforth_o his_o majesty_n do_v hereby_o recall_v and_o revoke_v and_o declare_v the_o same_o to_o be_v void_a and_o determine_v to_o all_o intent_n and_o purpose_n and_o his_o majesty_n do_v straight_o charge_n and_o command_n that_o the_o say_a commission_n or_o letter_n of_o marque_n be_v bring_v and_o deliver_v into_o the_o respective_a court_n of_o admiralty_n from_o whence_o the_o same_o issue_v by_o the_o time_n aforesaid_a there_o to_o be_v vacate_v hereby_o further_o declare_v and_o publish_v that_o from_o and_o after_o the_o say_v fourteen_o day_n of_o february_n all_o act_n and_o proceed_n by_o pretext_n of_o the_o say_a commission_n or_o letter_n of_o marque_n shall_v be_v take_v to_o be_v as_o without_o any_o warrant_n or_o authority_n and_o at_o the_o peril_n of_o the_o party_n who_o shall_v act_v by_o colour_n thereof_o and_o as_o if_o no_o such_o commission_n have_v be_v give_v at_o our_o court_n at_o oxford_n the_o 5_o day_n of_o january_n 1665._o in_o the_o seventeen_o year_n of_o our_o reign_n god_n save_o the_o king_n oxford_n print_v by_o leonard_n lichfeild_n printer_n to_o the_o university_n for_o john_n bill_n and_o christopher_n barker_n printer_n to_o his_o majesty_n anno_fw-la dom._n 1665._o
