occasion_v in_o the_o office_n of_o his_o majesty_n treasury_n of_o the_o navy_n on_o pay-day_n in_o london_n portsmouth_n and_o other_o place_n of_o meeting_n for_o the_o service_n of_o the_o say_a navy_n and_o that_o either_o by_o the_o unreasonable_a turbulence_n of_o seaman_n and_o other_o attend_v on_o or_o relate_v to_o that_o service_n or_o their_o creditor_n or_o by_o the_o rudeness_n of_o the_o officer_n entrust_v with_o his_o majesty_n store_n on_o land_n or_o in_o his_o royal_a ship_n when_o they_o be_v question_v by_o the_o principal_a officer_n and_o commissioner_n of_o the_o say_a navy_n either_o for_o neglect_n or_o imbezelment_n of_o his_o majesty_n provision_n ammunition_n or_o other_o equipage_n of_o the_o navy_n under_o their_o charge_n and_o that_o not_o only_o to_o the_o disturbance_n of_o the_o peace_n but_o sometime_o to_o the_o danger_n and_o hindrance_n of_o his_o majesty_n service_n both_o in_o point_n of_o husband_v his_o majesty_n revenue_n and_o also_o in_o dispatch_n of_o the_o ship_n on_o which_o the_o honour_n and_o safety_n of_o his_o majesty_n and_o kingdom_n so_o much_o depend_v which_o inconvenience_n require_v a_o spéedy_a remedy_n than_o the_o ordinary_a attendance_n on_o the_o session_n of_o the_o peace_n can_v give_v the_o party_n accuse_v or_o offend_a be_v many_o time_n bind_v to_o sea_n and_o the_o principal_a officer_n and_o any_o disturbance_n fight_v or_o quarrel_v in_o the_o yard_n stores_n or_o office_n aforesaid_a at_o pay-day_n or_o on_o other_o occasion_n relate_v to_o the_o naval_a service_n in_o such_o manner_n as_o follow_v that_o be_v to_o say_v that_o they_o or_o any_o two_o or_o more_o of_o they_o may_v punish_v any_o the_o say_a offence_n by_o fine_a imprisonment_n or_o either_o of_o they_o the_o fine_a the_o sum_n or_o sum_n so_o assess_v by_o the_o space_n of_o twenty_o day_n after_o demand_n as_o aforesaid_a where_o no_o sufficient_a distress_n can_v or_o may_v be_v find_v whereby_o the_o same_o may_v be_v levy_v in_o every_o such_o case_n three_o or_o more_o of_o the_o commissioner_n by_o this_o act_n appoint_v for_o any_o such_o city_n county_n or_o place_n be_v hereby_o authorize_v by_o warrant_n under_o their_o hand_n and_o seal_n to_o commit_v such_o person_n or_o person_n to_o the_o common_a goal_n there_o to_o be_v keep_v without_o bail_n or_o mainprize_n until_o payment_n of_o his_o royal_a progenitor_n or_o to_o be_v grant_v by_o his_o majesty_n to_o any_o person_n or_o person_n city_n borough_n or_o town_n corporate_a within_o this_o realm_n of_o any_o manner_n of_o liberty_n privilege_n or_o exemption_n from_o subsidy_n toll_n tax_n assessment_n or_o aid_n shall_v be_v construe_v or_o take_v to_o exempt_v any_o person_n or_o person_n city_n borough_n or_o meeting_n for_o the_o service_n of_o the_o say_a navy_n and_o that_o either_o by_o the_o unreasonable_a turbulence_n of_o seaman_n and_o other_o attend_v on_o seaman_n turbulence_n of_o seaman_n or_o relate_v to_o that_o service_n or_o their_o creditor_n or_o by_o the_o rudeness_n of_o the_o officer_n entrust_v with_o his_o majesty_n store_n on_o land_n or_o in_o his_o royal_a ship_n when_o they_o be_v question_v by_o the_o principal_a officer_n and_o commissioner_n of_o the_o say_a navy_n either_o for_o neglect_n or_o imbezelment_n of_o his_o majesty_n provision_n ammunition_n or_o other_o kingdom_n so_o much_o depend_v which_o inconvenience_n require_v a_o speedy_a remedy_n then_o the_o ordinary_a attendance_n on_o the_o session_n of_o peace_n can_v give_v the_o party_n accuse_v or_o offend_a be_v many_o time_n bind_v to_o sea_n and_o the_o principal_a officer_n and_o commissioner_n for_o want_n of_o authority_n to_o suppress_v such_o insolence_n and_o determine_v such_o case_n disturbance_n commit_v by_o seaman_n relate_v to_o the_o navy_n that_o the_o treasurer_n comptroller_n surveyor_n clerk_z of_o the_o act_n and_o the_o commissioner_n of_o the_o navy_n for_o the_o time_n be_v or_o any_o one_o or_o more_o of_o they_o have_v power_n and_o authority_n to_o examine_v and_o punish_v all_o such_o person_n and_o person_n who_o they_o upon_o their_o enquiry_n examination_n or_o on_o view_n in_o their_o presence_n shall_v find_v hereafter_o to_o make_v or_o have_v make_v any_o disturbance_n fight_v or_o quarrel_v in_o the_o yard_n stores_n or_o office_n that_o the_o examination_n of_o witness_n be_v upon_o oath_n before_o he_o or_o they_o which_o they_o any_o one_o or_o more_o of_o they_o be_v according_o empowered_a to_o administer_v and_o it_o be_v
