sense_n of_o all_o the_o book_n and_o creature_n in_o the_o world_n to_o employ_v his_o thought_n upon_o he_o never_o need_v to_o want_v matter_n for_o his_o meditation_n that_o have_v god_n to_o meditate_v on_o he_o need_v not_o want_v matter_n of_o discourse_n whether_o mental_a or_o vocal_a that_o have_v god_n to_o talk_v of_o though_o he_o have_v not_o the_o name_n of_o any_o other_o friend_n to_o mention_v all_o our_o affection_n may_v have_v in_o he_o the_o high_a and_o most_o pleasant_a work_n the_o soul_n of_o man_n can_v have_v a_o more_o sweet_a and_o excellent_a work_n than_o to_o love_v he_o he_o want_v neither_o work_n nor_o pleasure_n that_o in_o his_o solitude_n be_v take_v up_o in_o the_o believe_a contemplation_n of_o eternal_a love_n and_o of_o all_o his_o bless_a attribute_n and_o work_n o_o then_o what_o happy_a and_o delightful_a converse_n may_v a_o believer_n have_v with_o god_n alone_o he_o be_v always_o present_a and_o always_o at_o leisure_n unthankfulness_n for_o so_o great_a a_o benefit_n as_o a_o godly_a friend_n nor_o for_o the_o neglect_n of_o your_o duty_n in_o improve_n the_o company_n and_o help_v of_o friend_n two_o be_v better_a than_o one_o the_o communion_n of_o saint_n and_o help_v of_o those_o that_o be_v wise_a and_o faithful_a be_v a_o mercy_n high_o to_o be_v esteem_v and_o the_o undervalue_v of_o it_o be_v at_o least_o a_o sign_n of_o a_o decline_a soul._n 2._o you_o must_v not_o hence_o fetch_v any_o pretence_n to_o slight_v your_o friend_n and_o disoblige_v they_o or_o neglect_v any_o duty_n that_o you_o weariness_n of_o converse_n with_o man_n be_v oft_o conjunct_a with_o a_o weariness_n of_o our_o duty_n and_o a_o retire_n voluntary_o into_o solitude_n when_o god_n do_v not_o call_v or_o drive_v we_o thither_o be_v oft_o but_o a_o retire_n from_o the_o place_n and_o work_v which_o god_n have_v appoint_v we_o and_o consequent_o a_o retire_n rather_o from_o god_n than_o to_o god_n like_o some_o idle_a servant_n that_o think_v they_o shall_v not_o work_v so_o hard_o because_o it_o be_v but_o worldly_a business_n and_o think_v their_o master_n deal_v not_o religious_o by_o they_o unless_o they_o let_v they_o neglect_v their_o labour_n that_o they_o may_v spend_v more_o time_n in_o serve_v god_n as_o if_o it_o be_v no_o serve_v god_n to_o be_v faithful_a in_o their_o master_n service_n i_o deny_v not_o but_o very_o holy_a person_n have_v live_v in_o a_o state_n of_o retirement_n from_o humane_a converse_n in_o such_o case_n as_o these_o iâ—_n may_v become_v a_o duty_n 1._o in_o case_n of_o such_o persecution_n as_o at_o present_a leave_v we_o no_o opportunity_n of_o serve_v or_o honour_v god_n so_o much_o in_o any_o other_o place_n or_o state_n 2._o in_o case_n that_o natural_a infirmity_n or_o disability_n or_o any_o other_o accident_n shall_v make_v one_o less_o serviceable_a to_o god_n and_o his_o church_n in_o society_n than_o he_o be_v in_o solitude_n 3._o in_o case_n he_o have_v commit_v a_o sin_n so_o heinous_a and_o of_o indelible_a scandal_n and_o reproach_n as_o that_o it_o be_v not_o fit_a for_o the_o servant_n of_o christ_n any_o more_o to_o
