that_o fruit_n and_o comfort_n that_o come_v in_o time_n of_o trouble_n unto_o which_o time_n god_n often_o reserve_v our_o 9_o great_a feeling_n because_o it_o be_v the_o most_o needful_a time_n of_o very_o gentle_o have_v lose_v the_o fruit_n of_o it_o afterward_o very_o negligent_o for_o many_o courteous_a nature_n be_v as_o soft_a as_o wax_v soon_o able_a to_o receive_v the_o simile_n impression_n of_o a_o admonition_n but_o less_o able_a to_o retain_v it_o again_o a_o more_o heroical_a nature_n be_v as_o the_o hard_a wax_n not_o so_o soon_o admit_v the_o print_n as_o sure_o keep_v the_o print_n be_v make_v many_o notwithstanding_o have_v rather_o sleep_v in_o the_o whole_a skin_n of_o their_o senslesnes_n of_o sin_n and_o therefore_o give_v entertainment_n unto_o flatterer_n our_o natural_a corruption_n yet_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n may_v be_v so_o resident_a and_o dwell_v in_o we_o that_o it_o shall_v not_o only_o keep_v we_o from_o gross_a outward_a outrage_n and_o offence_n but_o also_o will_v hold_v down_o &_o keep_v short_a our_o natural_a corruption_n neither_o must_v we_o think_v it_o enough_o to_o sell_v the_o fruit_n of_o our_o corrupt_a nature_n but_o we_o must_v also_o sell_v the_o corruption_n itself_o for_o as_o we_o see_v so_o long_o as_o the_o tree_n remain_v there_o will_v always_o spring_v forth_o some_o bud_n even_o so_o of_o the_o child_n of_o god_n so_o long_o as_o the_o corruption_n of_o the_o nature_n reign_v in_o they_o so_o long_o do_v they_o burst_v out_o into_o some_o offence_n or_o other_o but_o most_o man_n make_v either_o little_a or_o no_o conscience_n at_o all_o of_o these_o little_a fault_n but_o it_o must_v be_v otherwise_o with_o we_o or_o else_o we_o can_v but_o displease_v god_n great_o for_o as_o a_o river_n dry_v up_o unto_o the_o fountain_n yet_o if_o we_o do_v rest_n from_o all_o empty_n of_o it_o it_o will_v increase_v again_o so_o except_o the_o child_n of_o god_n do_v keep_v down_o we_o will_v abhor_v he_o but_o when_o it_o come_v out_o that_o they_o may_v â—eale_v less_o thing_n as_o wood_n and_o corn_n and_o that_o not_o of_o necessity_n but_o even_o of_o greediness_n of_o mind_n think_v it_o not_o to_o be_v subject_a to_o so_o high_a a_o punishment_n they_o will_v make_v no_o conscience_n of_o it_o but_o if_o adam_n be_v cast_v out_o of_o paradise_n for_o the_o bite_n unrighteousness_n but_o if_o we_o feel_v ourselves_o to_o be_v indifferent_a person_n and_o come_v what_o come_v may_v we_o care_v not_o great_o undoubted_o we_o be_v of_o no_o religion_n for_o if_o thou_o do_v not_o hate_v a_o atheist_n thou_o love_v not_o god_n if_o thou_o hate_v not_o heresy_n thou_o do_v sin_n not_o love_v god_n law_n if_o thou_o hate_v not_o adultery_n thou_o be_v not_o not_o or_o else_o hear_v very_o negligent_o and_o therefore_o whosoever_o shall_v now_o come_v and_o blow_v a_o illusion_n in_o their_o ear_n he_o shall_v be_v hear_v how_o shall_v we_o know_v a_o grow_v in_o godly_a understanding_n we_o may_v grow_v also_o in_o hatred_n of_o falsehood_n this_o verse_n may_v seem_v to_o have_v some_o contrariety_n with_o the_o verse_n a_o little_a go_v before_o where_o he_o say_v i_o have_v abstain_v from_o every_o evil_n that_o i_o may_v keep_v thy_o law_n but_o indeed_o there_o be_v none_o because_o no_o true_a mortification_n both_o here_o and_o in_o
