communication_n &_o commerce_n with_o god_n he_o find_v by_o experience_n the_o unspeakable_a dear_a sweetness_n of_o his_o love_n he_o enjoy_v a_o most_o lively_a feel_n of_o his_o presence_n his_o goodness_n and_o his_o mercy_n &_o he_o possess_v a_o most_o evident_a and_o joyful_a hope_n and_o very_o entire_a promptitude_n of_o devotion_n now_o it_o happen_v sometime_o that_o this_o man_n remain_v in_o this_o spiritual_a paradise_n and_o pass_v there_o a_o great_a part_n of_o his_o pilgrimage_n in_o this_o life_n god_n do_v so_o ordain_v concern_v he_o not_o only_o sometime_o but_o very_o often_o and_o long_o together_o that_o enable_v he_o still_o to_o maintain_v and_o hold_v the_o substantial_a part_n of_o his_o love_n which_o consist_v in_o love_v that_o which_o he_o love_v above_o all_o thing_n and_o in_o take_v contentment_n therein_o and_o in_o yield_a obedience_n to_o his_o commaundment_n and_o in_o carry_v a_o hatred_n against_o all_o sin_n and_o in_o use_v yet_o be_v it_o dry_v withal_o and_o sad_a and_o uncomfortable_a and_o full_a of_o fear_n and_o assault_v by_o dismay_v &_o doubt_n and_o though_o it_o be_v true_a that_o this_o soul_n have_v lose_v come_v towards_o he_o and_o awake_v he_o say_v save_v we_o lord_n for_o we_o perish_v our_o lord_n then_o rise_v up_o and_o have_v reprove_v they_o for_o their_o little_a faith_n he_o make_v the_o tempest_n cease_v by_o this_o do_v our_o lord_n discover_v to_o we_o the_o same_o mystery_n although_o in_o other_o term_n in_o that_o when_o christ_n our_o lord_n be_v on_o shipboard_n with_o his_o disciple_n a_o tempest_n rise_v we_o be_v teach_v that_o while_o he_o be_v present_a by_o grace_n with_o his_o seruamt_n who_o be_v just_a and_o holy_a man_n the_o tribulation_n &_o temptation_n &_o the_o seem_a to_o be_v abandon_v by_o almighty_a god_n rise_v up_o against_o they_o and_o though_o our_o lord_n do_v well_o discern_v the_o affliction_n wherein_o they_o be_v and_o have_v great_a care_n of_o they_o and_o will_v be_v sure_a not_o to_o let_v they_o perish_v yet_o to_o their_o think_n he_o have_v little_o better_o than_o forget_v they_o and_o it_o seem_v to_o they_o as_o if_o they_o be_v forsake_v and_o abandon_v by_o he_o and_o that_o they_o be_v in_o great_a danger_n of_o perish_v now_o our_o lord_n proceed_v thus_o with_o they_o for_o their_o great_a good_a to_o the_o end_n that_o they_o may_v the_o better_o know_v themselves_o and_o understand_v by_o experience_n of_o how_o little_a strength_n they_o be_v in_o time_n of_o tribulation_n and_o that_o be_v free_v from_o it_o by_o our_o lord_n upon_o who_o they_o call_v they_o may_v the_o better_a judge_n of_o the_o assistance_n and_o favour_n which_o he_o affoarde_n they_o and_o that_o they_o may_v confide_v more_o in_o he_o and_o more_o admire_v his_o goodness_n and_o power_n and_o divine_a providence_n and_o become_v more_o perfect_o subject_a to_o his_o heavenly_a will_n so_o say_v saint_n cyrill_n our_o lord_n permit_v that_o a_o tempest_n shall_v rise_v for_o the_o exercise_v of_o the_o apostle_n in_o virtue_n and_o that_o know_v and_o confess_v the_o danger_n wherein_o they_o be_v they_o may_v frame_v the_o high_a conceit_n of_o the_o power_n of_o the_o power_n of_o the_o same_o lord_n &_o may_v resort_v to_o he_o and_o place_n all_o their_o confidence_n in_o he_o and_o although_o they_o be_v in_o so_o great_a fear_n of_o perish_v yet_o in_o very_a deed_n they_o be_v safe_a nor_o be_v it_o possible_a that_o they_o shall_v be_v lose_v have_v that_o omnipotent_a lord_n so_o present_a with_o they_o as_o they_o have_v this_o be_v deliver_v by_o saint_n cyrill_n but_o that_o example_n of_o christ_n our_o lord_n which_o be_v most_o proper_a to_o comfort_v his_o servant_n in_o this_o kind_n of_o tribulation_n and_o to_o animate_v we_o to_o suffer_v it_o with_o patience_n be_v that_o abandon_v by_o the_o eternal_a father_n which_o christ_n our_o lord_n endure_v upon_o in_o his_o most_o holy_a soul_n so_o also_o his_o servant_n though_o they_o want_v those_o spiritual_a feeling_n and_o sensible_a comfort_n &_o though_o they_o be_v molest_v and_o afflict_a be_v not_o therefore_o depart_v from_o the_o amity_n &_o union_n with_o god_n nor_o have_v they_o lose_v any_o part_n at_o all_o of_o his_o grace_n and_o love_n but_o they_o continue_v still_o his_o friend_n to_o go_v forth_o &_o to_o remain_v in_o the_o air_n among_o man_n though_o yet_o withal_o for_o as_o much_o as_o concern_v themselves_o they_o carry_v the_o very_a pain_n of_o hell_n about_o they_o
