holy_a intimacy_n and_o acquaintance_n with_o god_n we_o maintain_v the_o more_o we_o be_v at_o peace_n in_o ourselves_o and_o i_o be_o sure_a the_o more_o we_o be_v at_o peace_n in_o ourselves_o and_o estrangement_n to_o grow_v up_o between_o he_o and_o we_o and_o indeed_o my_o beloved_n it_o be_v a_o sad_a and_o amaze_a thing_n to_o think_v how_o sudden_o and_o imperceptible_o distance_n and_o estrangement_n will_v grow_v up_o between_o god_n and_o a_o man_n soul_n for_o my_o own_o part_n shall_v i_o have_v hear_v of_o it_o only_o by_o the_o hear_n of_o the_o ear_n and_o have_v not_o find_v it_o by_o too_o many_o sad_a and_o woeful_a experience_n i_o can_v not_o have_v believe_v how_o sudden_o and_o imperceptible_o distance_n and_o estrangement_n will_v grow_v up_o between_o god_n and_o a_o man_n soul_n yea_o and_o that_o after_o the_o near_a lively_a and_o most_o intimate_a acquaintance_n and_o communion_n with_o he_o which_o call_v upon_o we_o to_o be_v very_o watchful_a and_o circumspect_a as_o to_o this_o thing_n and_o my_o beloved_n as_o you_o will_v die_v with_o boldness_n and_o comfort_n let_v i_o advise_v and_o persuade_v you_o to_o give_v all_o diligence_n to_o keep_v up_o constant_a intercourse_n and_o acquaintance_n with_o god_n and_o watch_v narrow_o against_o all_o distance_n between_o he_o and_o you_o which_o of_o we_o that_o know_v any_o thing_n of_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n know_v not_o that_o we_o suffer_v distance_n and_o estrangement_n to_o grow_v up_o between_o god_n and_o we_o we_o can_v tell_v how_o with_o any_o tolerable_a boldness_n and_o comfort_n to_o look_v he_o in_o the_o face_n in_o a_o duty_n or_o scarce_o to_o think_v of_o he_o with_o delight_n much_o less_o shall_v we_o be_v able_a to_o look_v he_o in_o the_o face_n with_o comfort_n in_o death_n in_o case_n we_o suffer_v distance_n to_o grow_v up_o between_o he_o and_o we_o moreover_o take_v this_o for_o a_o sure_a rule_n that_o the_o more_o you_o be_v verse_v in_o communion_n with_o god_n and_o do_v maintain_v a_o holy_a intimacy_n and_o correspondence_n with_o he_o the_o more_o boldness_n and_o comfort_n you_o will_v have_v when_o you_o come_v to_o die_v than_o you_o will_v be_v able_a to_o say_v i_o be_o now_o go_v to_o be_v and_o live_v for_o ever_o immediate_o with_o that_o god_n with_o who_o i_o have_v live_v in_o much_o sweet_a and_o intimate_a communion_n here_o i_o be_o now_o go_v to_o converse_v more_o full_o with_o he_o in_o heaven_n with_o who_o i_o have_v enjoy_v much_o sweet_a converse_n here_o on_o earth_n shall_v death_n find_v a_o man_n under_o distance_n and_o estrangement_n between_o god_n and_o he_o it_o must_v necessary_o be_v uncomfortable_a unto_o he_o but_o when_o there_o be_v a_o holy_a intimacy_n keep_v up_o between_o god_n and_o the_o soul_n than_o the_o soul_n need_v not_o fear_n or_o be_v ashamed_a to_o look_v death_n and_o judgement_n both_o in_o the_o face_n little_a child_n say_v john_n abide_v in_o he_o that_o when_o he_o shall_v appear_v we_o may_v have_v boldness_n and_o not_o be_v ashamed_a before_o he_o at_o his_o come_n 1_o john_n 2.28_o we_o be_v put_v into_o christ_n by_o faith_n at_o our_o first_o conversion_n and_o we_o abide_v in_o he_o by_o after-act_n of_o faith_n and_o communion_n and_o this_o abide_n in_o he_o be_v the_o way_n to_o have_v boldness_n before_o he_o at_o his_o come_n intercourse_n of_o love_n those_o bless_a act_n of_o communion_n keep_v up_o between_o god_n and_o you_o that_o be_v wont_a to_o be_v keep_v up_o between_o he_o and_o his_o watchful_a close_o walk_v saint_n and_o in_o order_n hereunto_o take_v three_o or_o four_o short_a hint_n first_o look_v upon_o and_o esteem_v converse_n and_o communion_n with_o god_n to_o be_v as_o indeed_o it_o be_v your_o high_a happiness_n both_o here_o and_o in_o heaven_n the_o high_a happiness_n soul_n be_v capable_a of_o here_o be_v to_o live_v in_o
