obedience_n to_o christ_n and_o even_o hence_o we_o be_v oblige_v to_o hold_v as_o much_o brotherly_a fellowship_n with_o they_o as_o we_o can_v especial_o that_o of_o love_n and_o brotherly_n compassion_n for_o when_o we_o consider_v that_o even_o some_o of_o all_o sort_n of_o christian_n will_v rather_o die_v than_o base_o deny_v their_o lord_n and_o master_n we_o can_v but_o have_v fellowship_n with_o such_o in_o our_o spirit_n whilst_o it_o be_v the_o same_o and_o not_o a_o feign_a christ_n to_o who_o they_o show_v their_o utmost_a testimony_n of_o love_n and_o this_o consideration_n alone_o may_v suffice_v to_o take_v away_o that_o imbitteredness_n which_o be_v too_o often_o find_v among_o christian_n dissent_v one_o from_o another_o let_v their_o appellation_n be_v what_o they_o will_v so_o that_o they_o believe_v in_o the_o true_a christ_n and_o live_v well_o be_v also_o faithful_a to_o what_o they_o know_v and_o though_o they_o be_v never_o so_o angry_a with_o i_o for_o oppose_v they_o in_o their_o tradition_n or_o err_a notion_n otherwise_o yet_o i_o must_v have_v a_o brotherly_a tenderness_n towards_o they_o all_o for_o the_o truth_n sake_n which_o dwell_v in_o they_o but_o now_o for_o ample_a or_o full_a communion_n i_o see_v not_o how_o that_o can_v be_v attain_v and_o maintain_v but_o where_o there_o be_v antecedent_n to_o it_o a_o union_n both_o in_o doctrine_n and_o practice_n in_o thing_n necessary_a to_o the_o true_a constitution_n and_o government_n of_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n and_o see_v also_o our_o difference_n about_o these_o thing_n be_v not_o small_a or_o trivial_a it_o can_v i_o think_v be_v better_o order_v than_o that_o a_o friendly_a distinction_n and_o brotherly_a forbearance_n be_v permit_v as_o to_o ample_a communion_n for_o that_o man_n can_v comfortable_o nor_o peaceable_o join_v together_o till_o they_o be_v agree_v in_o these_o thing_n i_o see_v not_o that_o the_o difference_n betwixt_o paul_n and_o barnabas_n be_v so_o great_a as_o to_o the_o thing_n about_o which_o they_o differ_v as_o the_o thing_n about_o which_o christian_n differ_v in_o these_o day_n and_o yet_o its_o certain_a their_o contention_n be_v great_a for_o 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d 〈◊〉_d signify_v provoke_v gall_v and_o embitter_v speech_n and_o mind_n say_v the_o learned_a it_o be_v certain_a they_o can_v not_o transact_v their_o affair_n in_o the_o gospel_n together_o but_o apart_o and_o this_o be_v write_v perhaps_o to_o show_v that_o a_o competent_a unity_n in_o judgement_n must_v precede_v our_o actual_a communion_n and_o till_o that_o be_v attain_v among_o we_o there_o be_v a_o necessity_n in_o regard_n partly_o of_o human_a frailty_n and_o partly_o in_o regard_n of_o some_o precious_a truth_n to_o forbear_v one_o another_o without_o destroy_v the_o truth_n to_o which_o we_o have_v attain_v respective_o and_o this_o be_v the_o great_a love_n we_o can_v extend_v to_o one_o another_o under_o these_o difficult_a circumstance_n 1._o to_o pity_v and_o hearty_o to_o pray_v one_o for_o another_o for_o the_o servant_n of_o the_o lord_n must_v not_o strive_v but_o be_v gentle_a towards_o all_o man_n in_o meekness_n instruct_v those_o that_o oppose_v themselves_o 2._o there_o must_v be_v all_o patience_n exercise_v and_o compassion_n show_v to_o the_o ignorant_a and_o those_o that_o be_v out_o of_o the_o way_n especial_o where_o the_o scruple_n be_v tender_a and_o conscientious_a and_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n the_o faithful_a minister_n of_o god_n must_v hold_v fast_o the_o form_n of_o sound_a word_n he_o must_v teach_v the_o same_o doctrine_n which_o be_v commit_v to_o his_o trust_n by_o the_o apostle_n he_o must_v warn_v other_o that_o they_o teach_v no_o other_o doctrine_n he_o must_v not_o give_v place_n to_o jewish_a or_o other_o fable_n and_o the_o church_n must_v so_o walk_v in_o christ_n as_o they_o first_o receive_v he_o root_v in_o the_o foundation-principle_n establish_v and_o build_v up_o in_o he_o not_o carry_v about_o with_o every_o wind_n of_o doctrine_n but_o speak_v the_o truth_n in_o love_n must_v endeavour_v to_o grow_v up_o into_o christ_n in_o all_o thing_n in_o a_o word_n it_o be_v the_o duty_n of_o this_o brotherhood_n to_o stick_v close_o to_o the_o whole_a council_n of_o god_n and_o not_o to_o partake_v with_o other_o man_n sin_n or_o error_n in_o life_n or_o religion_n which_o can_v be_v do_v where_o contrariety_n in_o doctrine_n and_o practice_n about_o thing_n necessary_a to_o the_o true_a state_n and_o government_n of_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n be_v allow_v in_o the_o same_o fellowship_n or_o community_n love_v the_o brotherhood_n this_o fraternity_n be_v in_o a_o special_a manner_n to_o love_v one_o another_o 1._o
