against_o another_o because_o of_o their_o differ_a sentiment_n in_o and_o about_o some_o principle_n of_o religion_n render_v their_o brethren_n odious_a to_o the_o world_n backbiting_a reproach_v and_o scandalize_a each_o other_o to_o the_o great_a dishonour_n of_o god_n and_o shame_n of_o their_o sacred_a profession_n one_o while_o charge_v and_o condemn_v the_o innocent_a and_o yet_o acknowldege_v not_o their_o evil_n and_o at_o another_o time_n strive_v to_o vindicate_v and_o clear_v such_o as_o be_v great_o guilty_a before_o god_n both_o which_o be_v abominable_a and_o hateful_a in_o his_o sight_n who_o will_v judge_v righteous_o and_o render_v to_o every_o man_n at_o last_o according_a to_o his_o work_n certain_o there_o be_v sarce_o a_o worse_a sin_n than_o the_o sin_n of_o backbiting_a he_o that_o hate_v his_o brother_n rob_v he_o of_o his_o good_a name_n out_o of_o malice_n and_o envy_n be_v a_o murderer_n and_o no_o murderer_n have_v eternal_a life_n abide_v in_o he_o to_o they_o in_o their_o detestable_a fashion_n and_o covetous_a practice_n do_v not_o many_o of_o they_o appear_v to_o love_v son_n and_o daughter_n more_o than_o christ_n or_o his_o sink_a of_o god_n they_o will_v spare_v more_o to_o gratify_v the_o pride_n and_o base_a lust_n of_o their_o child_n than_o they_o will_v spare_v to_o supply_v the_o necessity_n of_o the_o poor_a saint_n or_o to_o support_v the_o interest_n of_o christ_n and_o his_o gospel_n many_o pound_n shall_v go_v for_o the_o first_o use_n when_o a_o shilling_n be_v think_v a_o great_a deal_n with_o some_o of_o they_o for_o the_o second_o they_o think_v nothing_o too_o much_o to_o enrich_v and_o uphold_v their_o own_o family_n whilst_o the_o family_n of_o god_n suffer_v want_v and_o the_o cause_n of_o christ_n languish_v in_o their_o hand_n o_o how_o little_a do_v the_o power_n of_o grace_n and_o true_a godliness_n shine_v among_o this_o sort_n what_o formality_n and_o lukewarmness_n be_v there_o account_v so_o that_o the_o consideration_n of_o this_o must_v needs_o make_v their_o eternity_n if_o it_o be_v possible_a a_o double_a eternity_n nay_o many_o eternity_n for_o one_o hour_n under_o the_o great_a extremity_n of_o misery_n seem_v ten_o time_n nay_o a_o hundred_o time_n long_o than_o a_o hour_n time_n in_o the_o enjoyment_n of_o the_o sweet_a delight_n and_o pleasure_n a_o eternity_n of_o joy_n be_v long_o in_o respect_n of_o duration_n but_o seem_v short_a say_v a_o worthy_a divine_a in_o respect_n of_o apprehension_n so_o on_o the_o other_o hand_n say_v i_o a_o eternity_n of_o pain_n torment_v and_o misery_n be_v long_o in_o respect_n of_o duration_n but_o seem_v much_o long_o in_o respect_n of_o apprehension_n quest_n but_o shall_v there_o not_o be_v a_o end_n of_o the_o torment_n of_o the_o damn_a will_v infinite_a goodness_n be_v so_o severe_a with_o his_o offend_a creature_n can_v this_o stand_v consistent_a with_o the_o sweetness_n of_o his_o nature_n and_o infinite_a mercy_n answ_n i_o answer_v there_o be_v a_o perfection_n in_o every_o one_o of_o god_n divine_a attribute_n as_o his_o love_n be_v infinite_a to_o such_o who_o be_v his_o
