spiritual_a peace_n refresh_v consolation_n ineffable_a joy_n and_o the_o bless_a composure_n of_o assurance_n without_o some_o taste_n and_o experience_n of_o these_o thing_n profession_n be_v heartless_a lifeless_a useless_a and_o religion_n itself_o a_o dead_a carcase_n without_o a_o animate_v soul._n the_o peace_n which_o some_o enjoy_v be_v a_o mere_a stupidity_n they_o judge_v not_o these_o thing_n to_o be_v real_a which_o be_v the_o substance_n of_o christ_n present_a reward_n and_o a_o renunciation_n whereof_o will_v deprive_v the_o church_n of_o its_o principal_a supportment_n and_o encouragement_n in_o all_o its_o suffering_n it_o be_v a_o great_a evidence_n of_o the_o power_n of_o unbelief_n when_o we_o can_v satisfy_v ourselves_o without_o a_o experience_n in_o our_o own_o heart_n of_o the_o great_a thing_n in_o this_o kind_n of_o joy_n peace_n consolation_n assurance_n that_o be_v promise_v in_o the_o gospel_n for_o how_o can_v it_o be_v suppose_v that_o we_o do_v indeed_o believe_v the_o promise_n of_o thing_n future_a namely_o of_o heaven_n immortality_n and_o glory_n the_o faith_n whereof_o be_v the_o foundation_n of_o all_o religion_n when_o we_o do_v not_o believe_v the_o promise_n of_o the_o present_a reward_n in_o these_o spiritual_a privilege_n and_o how_o shall_v we_o be_v think_v to_o believe_v they_o when_o we_o do_v not_o endeavour_v after_o a_o experience_n of_o the_o thing_n themselves_o in_o our_o own_o soul_n but_o be_v even_o content_v without_o they_o but_o herein_o man_n deceive_v themselves_o they_o will_v very_o desirous_o have_v evangelical_a joy_n peace_n and_o assurance_n to_o countenance_v they_o in_o their_o evil_a frame_n and_o careless_a walk_n and_o some_o have_v attempt_v to_o reconcile_v these_o
