great_a need_n of_o a_o mediator_n promise_n and_o thus_o the_o law_n be_v give_v to_o further_a the_o promise_n namely_o that_o we_o through_o the_o law_n may_v be_v lead_v only_o unto_o christ_n for_o thus_o follow_v it_o in_o paul_n word_n 24._o and_o it_o be_v give_v of_o angel_n by_o the_o hand_n of_o a_o mediator_n a_o mediator_n be_v not_o a_o mediator_n of_o one_o only_a but_o god_n be_v one_o be_v the_o law_n then_o against_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n god_n forbid_v howbeit_o if_o there_o have_v be_v give_v a_o law_n which_o can_v have_v give_v life_n than_o no_o doubt_n righteousness_n shall_v come_v of_o the_o law_n but_o the_o scripture_n have_v shut_v up_o all_o under_o sin_n that_o the_o promise_n shall_v come_v by_o the_o faith_n on_o jesus_n christ_n give_v unto_o they_o that_o believe_v before_o faith_n come_v that_o be_v to_o say_v jesus_n christ_n in_o who_o we_o believe_v we_o be_v keep_v and_o shut_v up_o under_o the_o law_n unto_o the_o faith_n which_o shall_v afterward_o be_v declare_v thus_o be_v the_o law_n our_o schoolmaster_n unto_o christ_n that_o we_o may_v be_v make_v righteous_a by_o faith_n etc._n etc._n by_o these_o word_n of_o paul_n may_v every_o man_n understand_v now_o for_o what_o cause_n the_o law_n be_v give_v and_o how_o it_o be_v not_o contrary_a to_o the_o promise_n of_o the_o foresay_a seed_n but_o rather_o bring_v we_o from_o ourselves_o and_o from_o all_o creature_n only_o unto_o jesus_n christ_n the_o law_n therefore_o confirm_v the_o first_o promise_n concern_v the_o bless_a seed_n and_o teach_v that_o we_o obtain_v all_o salvation_n in_o he_o only_o by_o howbeit_o it_o be_v also_o a_o rule_n of_o our_o life_n inform_v we_o what_o we_o ought_v to_o do_v and_o what_o we_o ought_v to_o leave_v undo_v yet_o on_o our_o side_n be_v all_o unfruitful_a where_o faith_n be_v not_o but_o where_o faith_n be_v it_o cease_v not_o through_o love_n to_o work_v good_a according_a to_o the_o law_n all_o honour_n and_o praise_n be_v refer_v unto_o god_n to_o man_n nothing_o but_o unperfectnesse_n god_n also_o among_o his_o people_n wrought_v many_o thing_n whereby_o he_o set_v the_o cause_n of_o that_o afterward_o be_v ordain_v and_o appoint_v concern_v the_o tabernacle_n the_o priesthood_n and_o the_o oblation_n pertain_v to_o the_o sum_n of_o the_o first_o table_n for_o as_o much_o as_o the_o scripture_n and_o the_o mouth_n of_o god_n call_v it_o his_o law_n precept_n commandment_n use_n and_o statute_n ordinance_n and_o service_n question_n and_o if_o thou_o ask_v how_o can_v god_n which_o be_v a_o spirit_n be_v serve_v with_o outward_a visible_a and_o fleshly_a thing_n as_o the_o foresay_a ceremony_n of_o the_o jew_n be_v answer_n i_o answer_v such_o outward_a rite_n of_o the_o people_n of_o god_n be_v sacrament_n and_o token_n of_o heavenly_a invisible_a good_a thing_n and_o be_v not_o the_o heavenly_a riches_n themselves_o wherefore_o they_o neither_o serve_v nor_o please_v god_n
