be_v preserve_v and_o deliver_v from_o this_o horrible_a plague_n for_o if_o god_n punish_v we_o because_o of_o sin_n it_o be_v good_a to_o consider_v that_o we_o must_v first_o acknowledge_v and_o eschew_v our_o sin_n in_o case_n that_o he_o shall_v withdraw_v and_o take_v away_o his_o wrath_n &_o sharp_a punishment_n from_o us._n for_o if_o we_o continue_v in_o our_o evil_n sinful_a and_o culpable_a life_n certain_o he_o will_v not_o cease_v with_o the_o punishment_n but_o go_v forth_o more_o and_o more_o till_o he_o give_v and_o recompense_v according_a to_o our_o work_n but_o if_o we_o knowledge_n our_o sin_n refrain_v from_o it_o repent_v and_o ask_v grace_n then_o shall_v he_o also_o take_v away_o his_o wrath_n and_o this_o horrible_a wrath_n with_o other_o heavy_a burden_n with_o this_o plague_n for_o man_n may_v hear_v on_o every_o side_n that_o some_o do_v shun_v and_o fly_v not_o only_o the_o sick_a but_o also_o the_o whole_a yea_o that_o which_o be_v more_o foolishness_n even_o the_o platter_n and_o candlestick_n which_o come_v out_o of_o strange_a house_n as_o though_o death_n do_v sure_o stick_v therein_o and_o out_o of_o such_o fond_a childish_a fear_n it_o come_v that_o not_o only_o some_o sick_a folk_n be_v suffer_v to_o die_v without_o any_o keep_n help_n and_o comfort_v but_o that_o woman_n also_o great_a with_o child_n be_v forsake_v in_o their_o most_o need_n for_o at_o such_o time_n few_o or_o none_o will_v come_v unto_o they_o yea_o a_o man_n may_v hear_v also_o that_o the_o child_n forsake_v their_o father_n and_o mother_n and_o one_o household_n body_n keep_v himself_o away_o from_o another_o and_o show_v no_o love_n unto_o he_o which_o nevertheless_o he_o will_v be_v glad_a to_o be_v show_v unto_o himself_o if_o he_o lie_v in_o like_a necessity_n how_o be_v it_o i_o suppose_v there_o come_v not_o many_o such_o chance_n to_o pass_v nevertheless_o i_o must_v speak_v thereof_o that_o it_o be_v do_v no_o more_o from_o henceforth_o for_o certain_o it_o be_v unwise_o and_o unchristianly_a handle_v and_o we_o need_v not_o think_v that_o the_o same_o be_v the_o way_n to_o escape_v this_o plague_n but_o rather_o a_o occasion_n that_o it_o reign_v more_o mighty_o over_o us._n for_o see_v it_o be_v sure_a as_o you_o have_v hear_v afore_o that_o such_o plague_n be_v send_v for_o punishment_n of_o our_o sin_n and_o christ_n have_v give_v we_o a_o new_a commandment_n that_o we_o shall_v love_v one_o another_o as_o he_o have_v love_v we_o it_o follow_v that_o the_o far_o we_o depart_v from_o the_o love_n of_o our_o neighbour_n the_o more_o we_o lade_v sin_n upon_o we_o and_o deserve_v this_o plague_n so_o much_o the_o more_o again_o the_o more_o diligent_o that_o we_o take_v heed_n unto_o the_o love_n of_o our_o neighbour_n the_o sure_a shall_v we_o be_v from_o this_o plague_n no_o man_n need_v to_o doubt_v thereof_o but_o here_o withal_o will_v i_o also_o counsel_n or_o compel_v no_o man_n to_o any_o unnéedeful_a danger_n that_o he_o be_v not_o bind_v unto_o by_o his_o call_n nor_o by_o love_n but_o only_o warn_v those_o which_o for_o fear_n leave_v that_o which_o they_o be_v bind_v to_o do_v pass_v and_o how_o we_o shall_v understand_v it_o it_o shall_v follow_v hereafter_o more_o clear_o this_o be_v now_o well_o to_o be_v mark_v also_o that_o the_o pestilence_n be_v a_o noisome_a sickness_n not_o because_o it_o bring_v death_n for_o that_o do_v all_o other_o mortal_a sickness_n likewise_o and_o death_n be_v no_o loss_n unto_o the_o faithful_a but_o advantage_n as_o paul_n say_v unto_o the_o philippian_n the_o first_o chapter_n but_o because_o that_o it_o take_v away_o the_o people_n very_o sudden_o unlooked_v for_o and_o unaware_o and_o thereout_o then_o follow_v strife_n law_v or_o business_n among_o sinner_n and_o of_o the_o common_a wealth_n as_o every_o man_n by_o himself_o can_v light_o perceive_v and_o understande_v therefore_o it_o be_v also_o a_o horrible_a punishment_n over_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o world_n which_o concern_v both_o they_o that_o die_v and_o they_o that_o be_v leave_v alive_a as_o hereafter_o it_o shall_v follow_v where_o as_o if_o there_o be_v now_o such_o a_o faith_n as_o gieve_v credence_n unto_o god_n he_o shall_v preserve_v he_o from_o all_o wicked_a imagination_n of_o man_n like_o wise_a from_o all_o noisome_a sickness_n and_o at_o the_o last_o shall_v he_o save_v he_o that_o continue_v not_o without_o fruit_n but_o break_v out_o with_o right_a love_n and_o faithfulness_n towards_o his_o neighbour_n &_o desire_v also_o to_o bring_v he_o unto_o that_o point_n that_o he_o may_v believe_v and_o be_v partaker_n of_o all_o such_o goodness_n and_o benefit_n of_o god_n therefore_o do_v the_o prophet_n turn_v his_o word_n now_o also_o unto_o his_o neighbour_n and_o say_v furthermore_o he_o shall_v cover_v thou_o with_o his_o feather_n and_o thy_o hope_n shall_v be_v under_o his_o wing_n that_o be_v if_o thou_o also_o will_v put_v thy_o trust_n in_o he_o thou_o shall_v find_v it_o so_o likewise_o for_o he_o show_v such_o his_o benefit_n unto_o all_o and_o every_o one_o that_o put_v their_o trust_n in_o he_o as_o for_o the_o cover_n of_o his_o feather_n and_o hope_v under_o his_o wing_n your_o charity_n have_v hear_v enough_o before_o what_o it_o be_v now_o though_o all_o the_o faithful_a look_n for_o such_o help_n at_o god_n &_o it_o happen_v unto_o they_o yet_o be_v it_o not_o do_v without_o a_o special_a battle_n of_o faith_n for_o such_o help_n do_v he_o promise_v we_o in_o his_o holy_a word_n that_o we_o shall_v believe_v it_o and_o if_o we_o believe_v it_o it_o happen_v unto_o we_o according_a to_o our_o faith_n therefore_o say_v the_o prophet_n moreover_o his_o truth_n be_v spear_n &_o shield_n that_o be_v his_o godly_a promise_n which_o be_v sure_a &_o true_a and_o neither_o lie_n nor_o deceive_v those_o be_v our_o weapon_n wherewith_o we_o fight_v and_o overcome_v all_o adversity_n but_o like_a as_o spear_n and_o shield_n be_v not_o profitable_a unto_o he_o that_o can_v or_o will_v not_o use_v they_o even_o so_o also_o do_v not_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n profit_v he_o that_o can_v fight_v therewith_o and_o will_v not_o believe_v thereon_o for_o that_o be_v the_o right_a science_n in_o this_o battle_n when_o misfortune_n adversity_n or_o tentation_n come_v that_o we_o look_v out_o all_o for_o according_a unto_o god_n word_n namely_o what_o comfort_n and_o promise_n he_o have_v make_v unto_o we_o in_o such_o a_o case_n and_o with_o a_o right_a belief_n to_o take_v hold_n of_o the_o same_o as_o of_o a_o shield_n and_o to_o comfort_n and_o defend_v ourselves_o therewith_o so_o can_v there_o no_o mischance_n do_v we_o harm_n as_o the_o holy_a saint_n paul_n in_o the_o last_o chapter_n of_o his_o epistle_n to_o the_o ephesian_n teach_v and_o say_v before_o all_o thing_n take_v the_o shield_n of_o faith_n where_o with_o you_o may_v quench_v all_o the_o fiery_a dart_n of_o the_o wicked_a against_o the_o same_o namely_o against_o satan_n our_o head_n enemy_n be_v such_o word_n of_o god_n even_o the_o right_a spear_n wherewith_o we_o wound_v and_o overcome_v he_o for_o no_o bodily_a weapon_n hurt_v and_o hinder_v man_n so_o sore_o as_o the_o word_n of_o god_n stop_v and_o hinder_v satan_n if_o it_o be_v thrust_v under_o his_o nose_n against_o his_o venomous_a deal_n and_o tentation_n for_o if_o a_o servant_n that_o deal_v wrongful_o and_o unthrifty_o in_o his_o master_n good_n and_o business_n be_v afraid_a vex_v and_o pierce_v through_o the_o hart_n when_o a_o simple_a man_n say_v unto_o he_o thou_o unthrift_n why_o do_v thou_o so_o that_o be_v not_o thy_o master_n will_n and_o meaning_n he_o do_v not_o so_o command_v thou_o how_o much_o more_o go_v it_o through_o satan_n hart_n when_o a_o virtuous_a christian_a man_n hold_v the_o word_n of_o god_n under_o his_o eye_n and_o bring_v witness_n over_o he_o that_o he_o as_o a_o wicked_a creature_n deal_v against_o his_o maker_n and_o against_o his_o choose_a child_n therefore_o do_v holy_a saint_n paul_n call_v god_n word_n also_o the_o sword_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o the_o lord_n christ_n defend_v himself_o only_o with_o the_o same_o against_o all_o temptation_n of_o satan_n in_o the_o wilderness_n now_o when_o thou_o take_v hold_v thus_o of_o god_n promise_n thorow-faith_n and_o use_v they_o for_o spear_n and_o shield_n to_o defend_v thyself_o and_o to_o smite_v satan_n then_o out_o of_o the_o same_o it_o follow_v as_o the_o prophet_n say_v far_a that_o thou_o need_v not_o to_o fear_v for_o the_o horriblenesse_n of_o the_o night_n for_o the_o arrow_n that_o fly_v in_o the_o day_n time_n for_o the_o pestilence_n that_o come_v privy_o in_o the_o dark_a for_o the_o sickness_n that_o destroy_v in_o
