withal_o a_o king_n too_o to_o rule_v over_o we_o and_o subdue_v we_o if_o so_o be_v we_o will_v not_o be_v reconcile_v and_o come_v in_o unto_o he_o therefore_o these_o two_o word_n lord_n and_o jesus_n be_v here_o and_o in_o diverse_a other_o place_n elsewhere_o join_v together_o and_o so_o saint_n peter_n give_v he_o two_o the_o like_a title_n say_v that_o he_o be_v a_o prince_n and_o a_o saviour_n not_o a_o saviour_n only_o but_o also_o a_o prince_n to_o they_o that_o will_v not_o that_o he_o shall_v reign_v over_o they_o 31._o so_o that_o we_o must_v mark_v this_o then_o we_o do_v not_o preach_v christ_n in_o the_o gospel_n a_o saviour_n only_o but_o a_o prince_n and_o a_o lord_n also_o and_o they_o that_o love_v he_o must_v be_v content_a to_o take_v he_o as_o both_o aswell_o a_o lord_n and_o king_n as_o a_o jesus_n and_o saviour_n as_o a_o wife_n take_v her_o husband_n to_o honour_n and_o obey_v he_o aswell_o as_o to_o love_v he_o or_o have_v he_o keep_v and_o cherish_v she_o in_o sickness_n and_o in_o health_n and_o thus_o if_o we_o be_v content_a to_o take_v christ_n upon_o these_o condition_n than_o we_o shall_v have_v he_o with_o all_o his_o influence_n all_o the_o fruit_n and_o benefit_n of_o his_o passion_n but_o otherwise_o thou_o have_v no_o part_n nor_o portion_n therein_o christ_n shall_v profit_v thou_o nothing_o but_o thou_o be_v and_o shall_v be_v accurse_v to_o the_o death_n notwithstanding_o he_o die_v it_o may_v be_v thou_o will_v say_v object_n thou_o care_v not_o for_o that_o but_o let_v i_o ask_v thou_o one_o question_n sol._n do_v thou_o know_v what_o it_o be_v to_o be_v so_o accurse_v if_o thou_o do_v consider_v more_o serious_o of_o it_o if_o thou_o do_v not_o know_v it_o be_v this_o first_o he_o curse_v thy_o soul_n and_o that_o in_o a_o double_a respect_n of_o grace_n glory_n first_o he_o curse_v it_o from_o the_o excellency_n of_o grace_n that_o be_v from_o the_o effectual_a and_o powerful_a work_n of_o it_o so_o that_o thou_o shall_v be_v never_o the_o better_a 5._o but_o rather_o the_o worse_a for_o all_o the_o mean_n of_o grace_n and_o salvation_n and_o shall_v go_v on_o in_o thy_o impenitency_n and_o hardness_n of_o heart_n which_o can_v repent_v etc._n etc._n but_o thou_o will_v still_o say_v that_o be_v nothing_o object_n be_v it_o not_o so_o than_o second_o he_o curse_v thou_o from_o his_o presence_n in_o who_o presence_n be_v the_o fullness_n of_o joy_n and_o at_o who_o right_a hand_n etc._n etc._n so_o he_o do_v cain_n 16._o the_o text_n say_v he_o go_v out_o from_o the_o presence_n of_o the_o lord*_n that_o he_o cast_v off_o all_o care_n of_o he_o as_o it_o be_v in_o this_o life_n so_o as_o let_v what_o will_v befall_v he_o he_o will_v never_o pity_v nor_o protect_v he_o but_o it_o may_v be_v thou_o will_v say_v object_n that_o be_v nothing_o neither_o be_v it_o not_o so_o sol._n be_v it_o not_o a_o great_a grief_n for_o a_o man_n to_o be_v confine_v to_o his_o house_n so_o that_o and_o thou_o thyself_o out_o to_o have_v thy_o portion_n with_o the_o devil_n and_o his_o angel_n and_o therefore_o the_o schoolman_n be_v not_o afraid_a to_o say_v that_o the_o punishment_n of_o loss_n be_v great_a than_o the_o punishment_n of_o sense_n but_o thou_o will_v say_v object_n these_o be_v all_o spiritual_a thing_n we_o feel_v not_o these_o curse_n and_o so_o as_o we_o have_v no_o cross_n nor_o curse_n in_o our_o outward_a man_n our_o estate_n our_o good_n and_o good_a name_n we_o care_v not_o a_o straw_n for_o these_o we_o neither_o feel_v nor_o fear_v they_o to_o this_o therefore_o i_o answer_v solu_fw-la that_o you_o shall_v not_o escape_v so_o but_o even_o in_o your_o outward_a man_n in_o your_o body_n and_o good_n shall_v you_o be_v curse_v also_o for_o the_o thou_o shall_v be_v a_o vagabond_n and_o a_o runagate_n upon_o the_o face_n of_o the_o earth_n all_o the_o day_n of_o thy_o life_n and_o whosoever_o meet_v thou_o shall_v slay_v thou_o as_o the_o lord_n also_o say_v to_o caine._n but_o thou_o will_v say_v yet_o again_o object_n we_o see_v no_o such_o matter_n as_o i_o speak_v of_o for_o you_o know_v they_o that_o love_v he_o as_o little_a as_o yourselves_o and_o yet_o they_o thrive_v and_o do_v well_o enough_o yea_o better_o than_o many_o other_o that_o love_v he_o a_o great_a deal_n better_o to_o which_o i_o answer_v it_o be_v true_a it_o consider_v serious_o of_o eternity_n what_o a_o lamentable_a thing_n it_o be_v that_o when_o thou_o have_v be_v there_o ten_o thousand_o time_n ten_o thousand_o year_n thou_o shall_v yet_o be_v as_o far_o from_o ever_o come_v out_o or_o have_v of_o any_o end_n of_o thy_o torment_n as_o thou_o be_v at_o the_o very_a first_o moment_n thou_o wente_v thither_o and_o therefore_o remember_v for_o
