and_o be_v naught_o in_o their_o own_o particular_a it_o particular_a come_v not_o from_o a_o true_a principle_n for_o they_o that_o will_v side_n with_o god_n side_n with_o god_n in_o their_o own_o heart_n and_o be_v good_a man_n in_o their_o own_o particular_n therefore_o i_o beseech_v you_o try_v yourselves_o by_o this_o likewise_o 〈◊〉_d man_n estâ—em_v sin_n god_n enemy_n wâ—â—â—esoever_o when_o he_o give_v to_o they_o that_o which_o he_o give_v to_o none_o else_o shall_v we_o imagine_v god_n to_o be_v our_o god_n by_o common_a gift_n and_o common_a grace_n no_o for_o thou_o come_v to_o hear_v the_o word_n so_o herod_n do_v thou_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n so_o do_v judas_n so_o do_v simon_n magus_n thou_o hear_v the_o truth_n with_o some_o joy_n so_o do_v the_o three_o towards_o man_n full_a of_o love_n which_o argue_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o self-denial_n when_o a_o man_n can_v love_v other_o with_o denial_n of_o his_o own_o profit_n and_o ease_n he_o that_o have_v a_o humble_a believe_v lowly_a proud_a heart_n have_v more_o than_o all_o the_o world_n beside_o for_o he_o have_v god_n peculiar_a gift_n many_o poor_a soul_n complain_v as_o if_o god_n have_v no_o regard_n to_o they_o and_o yet_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n they_o have_v humble_a break_a heart_n which_o be_v more_o than_o if_o they_o have_v all_o the_o wealth_n and_o worâ—h_n that_o the_o world_n have_v which_o have_v proud_a heart_n never_o break_v the_o return_n of_o these_o favour_n will_v be_v comfort_n in_o death_n and_o glory_n in_o heaven_n what_o will_v the_o fruit_n of_o a_o believe_a heart_n be_v he_o have_v god_n and_o christ_n if_o he_o have_v a_o lowly_a large_a heart_n to_o do_v good_a he_o do_v that_o which_o in_o the_o issue_n shall_v further_o his_o account_n at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n and_o there_o be_v the_o love_n of_o god_n show_v in_o his_o special_a favour_n 2._o so_o the_o love_n of_o god_n especial_o shall_v be_v a_o special_a peculiar_a comfort_n that_o the_o world_n be_v ignorant_a of_o especial_o in_o time_n of_o extremity_n inward_a peace_n of_o conscience_n inward_a joy_n and_o love_n inward_a comfort_n these_o be_v sign_n of_o love_n sanctify_a correction_n to_o have_v correction_n when_o they_o be_v seasonable_a when_o we_o be_v in_o a_o way_n of_o stray_v and_o god_n will_v bring_v we_o home_o by_o correction_n and_o when_o we_o have_v sanctify_v correction_n we_o find_v by_o experience_n that_o all_o be_v turn_v to_o our_o good_a if_o i_o find_v any_o thing_n turn_v i_o to_o my_o god_n i_o know_v i_o be_o he_o if_o my_o cross_n be_v seasonable_a and_o sanctify_a he_o be_v my_o god_n for_o he_o take_v that_o course_n with_o i_o which_o he_o take_v with_o his_o own_o people_n these_o be_v singular_a sign_n of_o god_n love_n when_o he_o bestow_v the_o grace_n of_o his_o spirit_n his_o comfort_n peace_n and_o joy_n though_o not_o large_o yet_o so_o much_o as_o shall_v sustain_v the_o soul_n and_o then_o when_o he_o seasonable_o meet_v we_o and_o will_v not_o suffer_v we_o to_o thrive_v in_o a_o evil_a couâ—se_n oh_o it_o be_v a_o judgement_n of_o judgement_n to_o be_v harden_v in_o sinful_a course_n of_o life_n acknowledge_v god_n to_o be_v their_o father_n and_o their_o god_n and_o therefore_o answer_n satan_n i_o ought_v not_o to_o abuse_v and_o break_v off_o and_o deny_v my_o interest_n in_o god_n as_o my_o father_n and_o my_o god_n for_o any_o sin_n because_o the_o disciple_n do_v not_o so_o and_o christ_n have_v teach_v how_o to_o make_v use_n of_o god_n and_o to_o acknowledge_v he_o for_o my_o shall_v we_o think_v then_o to_o preserve_v respect_n with_o god_n without_o much_o industry_n and_o holiness_n it_o can_v be_v and_o therefore_o give_v all_o diligence_n not_o a_o little_a to_o make_v your_o call_v and_o election_n sure_a it_o require_v all_o diligence_n it_o be_v worth_a your_o pain_n we_o live_v on_o this_o that_o he_o be_v our_o god_n and_o will_v be_v our_o god_n to_o death_n and_o in_o death_n for_o ever_o more_o that_o god_n be_v our_o god_n to_o everlasting_a that_o he_o be_v of_o a_o equal_a extent_n with_o the_o soul_n he_o live_v to_o fill_v it_o and_o make_v
