and_o convince_v they_o of_o the_o truth_n i_o mean_v of_o the_o truth_n of_o a_o more_o spiritual_a and_o sublime_a nature_n but_o only_o of_o a_o lightsome_a and_o rational_a discovery_n of_o such_o truth_n as_o the_o wood_n that_o be_v dry_a will_v ready_o take_v the_o fire_n and_o burn_v only_o by_o put_v coal_n of_o fire_n to_o it_o whereas_o that_o which_o be_v green_a require_v much_o puff_a and_o blow_v and_o many_o time_n will_v not_o burn_v at_o last_o though_o all_o this_o mean_n he_o use_v to_o it_o therefore_o the_o person_n that_o must_v have_v miracle_n and_o say_v they_o can_v thief_n so_o the_o opportunity_n that_o man_n offer_v the_o tempter_n who_o be_v carry_v on_o his_o interest_n in_o the_o world_n to_o render_v it_o as_o miserable_a as_o he_o can_v at_o present_a and_o as_o miserable_a as_o may_v be_v for_o eternity_n make_v he_o so_o busy_a with_o they_o whereas_o those_o who_o be_v fill_v with_o the_o spirit_n do_v upon_o the_o matter_n cut_v he_o off_o of_o all_o opportunity_n in_o this_o kind_n and_o consequent_o make_v he_o less_o careful_a or_o solicitous_a to_o spend_v his_o temptation_n upon_o such_o as_o these_o the_o reason_n hereof_o be_v because_o he_o have_v less_o hope_n to_o make_v any_o earning_n upon_o such_o man_n the_o excellent_a spirit_n for_o way_n and_o work_n of_o righteousness_n and_o holiness_n which_o he_o continual_o discover_v in_o these_o man_n break_v the_o heart_n of_o his_o hope_n of_o do_v any_o good_a upon_o they_o of_o prevail_v over_o they_o this_o observe_v of_o the_o wind_n keep_v he_o from_o sow_v his_o temptation_n in_o those_o field_n as_o a_o man_n though_o he_o have_v a_o quiver_n never_o so_o full_a of_o arrow_n care_v not_o to_o shoot_v they_o against_o a_o brazen_a wall_n so_o neither_o will_n satan_n the_o devil_n care_v to_o throw_v his_o fiery_a dart_n against_o those_o who_o be_v so_o hard_a to_o come_v at_o who_o be_v always_o up_o and_o out_o in_o the_o height_n of_o their_o spirit_n for_o god_n for_o as_o the_o scripture_n say_v 1_o cor._n 9.10_o he_o that_o plow_v or_o sow_v plow_v and_o sow_v in_o hope_n meaning_n that_o no_o man_n will_v either_o plough_n or_o sow_v but_o in_o hope_n to_o reap_v so_o neither_o will_n satan_n care_v to_o plough_v or_o sow_v but_o when_o he_o have_v a_o hope_n of_o a_o harvest_n now_o his_o harvest_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o the_o sin_n and_o wickedness_n of_o man_n and_o unless_o it_o be_v for_o this_o he_o will_v not_o care_v to_o tempt_v man_n god_n of_o old_a give_v this_o by_o way_n of_o motive_n and_o favour_n of_o god_n that_o they_o be_v frequent_a and_o constant_a in_o their_o importune_v of_o he_o before_o he_o will_v give_v they_o the_o thing_n they_o desire_v of_o he_o whereas_o those_o who_o be_v zealous_a for_o god_n have_v a_o more_o quick_a and_o ready_a audience_n christian_n of_o a_o low_a form_n and_o ordinary_a growth_n and_o stature_n as_o i_o say_v even_o now_o may_v be_v hear_v but_o they_o must_v put_v more_o strength_n to_o their_o prayer_n and_o wait_v long_a until_o they_o have_v their_o answer_n from_o god_n which_o be_v signify_v in_o these_o word_n seek_v and_o you_o shall_v find_v which_o show_v that_o if_o person_n have_v not_o that_o excellent_a qualification_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n to_o commend_v they_o in_o his_o love_n and_o favour_n they_o must_v work_v so_o much_o the_o hard_a and_o wait_v so_o much_o the_o long_o upon_o god_n shall_v he_o not_o avenge_v his_o elect_n who_o cry_v day_n and_o night_n unto_o he_o luke_n 18.7_o but_o noah_n
