he_o this_o therefore_o shall_v calm_v our_o spirit_n why_o may_v there_o not_o be_v some_o difference_n in_o judgement_n without_o division_n in_o affection_n for_o it_o be_v as_o impossible_a that_o all_o judgement_n shall_v be_v of_o the_o same_o extent_n as_o all_o our_o face_n to_o be_v of_o the_o same_o colour_n and_o figure_n therefore_o consider_v what_o a_o injury_n it_o be_v to_o our_o profession_n how_o do_v it_o obscure_v the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o lustre_n of_o our_o religion_n three_o do_v not_o the_o public_a enemy_n rejoice_v over_o we_o i_o mean_v the_o papist_n do_v must_v be_v a_o effect_n of_o infinite_a power_n in_o the_o great_a god_n this_o raise_n of_o christ_n sometime_o it_o be_v attribute_v to_o the_o son_n be_v god_n equal_a with_o the_o father_n but_o here_o it_o be_v attribute_v to_o god_n and_o therefore_o when_o the_o scripture_n will_v speak_v with_o the_o great_a magnificence_n of_o the_o power_n of_o god_n it_o express_v it_o thus_o that_o for_o a_o man_n to_o be_v right_a in_o moral_a thing_n and_o to_o know_v and_o cleave_v to_o that_o which_o be_v truth_n in_o morality_n yet_o the_o truth_n that_o we_o be_v here_o call_v upon_o to_o hold_v fast_o they_o be_v divine_a truth_n supernatural_a truth_n truth_n in_o religion_n truth_n in_o the_o thing_n of_o god_n second_o again_o religious_a and_o divine_a truth_n truth_n of_o god_n they_o be_v either_o such_o as_o be_v so_o in_o name_n and_o in_o the_o estimation_n of_o some_o man_n or_o else_o they_o be_v such_o truth_n as_o be_v truth_n of_o god_n in_o the_o truth_n and_o reality_n of_o the_o thing_n now_o when_o i_o say_v that_o christian_n be_v to_o hold_v fast_o the_o truth_n they_o have_v receive_v the_o meaning_n be_v not_o that_o what_o ever_o any_o man_n or_o company_n of_o man_n offer_v as_o truth_n shall_v be_v receive_v and_o hold_v fast_o for_o than_o we_o must_v hold_v fast_o many_o error_n but_o what_o
triumphant_a manner_n he_o do_v not_o with_o so_o much_o sorrow_n and_o trouble_n to_o himself_o and_o his_o disciple_n go_v to_o as_o triumphant_o come_v from_o the_o grave_a so_o can_v god_n with_o be_v worthy_a to_o be_v consider_v because_o of_o its_o epithet_n call_v here_o everlasting_a covenant_n there_o be_v a_o temporal_a covenant_n god_n make_v with_o the_o people_n of_o israel_n and_o that_o be_v seal_v and_o confirm_v by_o the_o blood_n of_o bullock_n etc._n etc._n christ_n take_v not_o on_o he_o this_o covenant_n he_o do_v not_o bind_v man_n to_o stand_v by_o those_o term_n contain_v in_o that_o covenant_n for_o indeed_o christ_n come_v to_o make_v it_o void_a there_o be_v a_o eternal_a covenant_n and_o that_o be_v nothing_o else_o but_o those_o term_n of_o grace_n and_o favour_n which_o be_v propose_v to_o we_o in_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n which_o amount_v to_o this_o who_o ever_o repent_v shall_v be_v save_v he_o that_o repent_v and_o forsake_v his_o sin_n shall_v find_v mercy_n and_o that_o he_o will_v be_v merciful_a to_o all_o on_o these_o condition_n in_o all_o part_n of_o the_o world_n for_o these_o term_n god_n will_v not_o repent_v of_o which_o be_v in_o the_o spirit_n of_o man_n i._n e._n when_o the_o understanding_n exercise_v a_o coercion_n and_o restraint_n over_o our_o licentious_a appetite_n when_o all_o our_o inferior_a account_n this_o title_n be_v give_v to_o he_o by_o way_n of_o eminency_n and_o propriety_n as_o 1_o he_o be_v alone_o able_a to_o allow_v and_o dispense_v this_o peace_n to_o we_o for_o all_o our_o
