excellency_n in_o grace_n though_o certain_o a_o righteous_a man_n as_o the_o text_n have_v it_o be_v more_o excellent_a than_o his_o neighbour_n yet_o notwithstanding_o a_o wicked_a wretch_n that_o be_v neighbour_n to_o a_o godly_a man_n he_o think_v not_o so_o of_o he_o nor_o answerable_o be_v he_o affect_v towards_o he_o what_o do_v thou_o not_o think_v a_o godly_a man_n better_o than_o thyself_o i_o speak_v to_o a_o wicked_a wretch_n nor_o be_v thou_o answerable_o affect_v towards_o he_o and_o the_o lord_n say_v so_o direct_o there_o righteous_a 〈◊〉_d be_v more_o excellent_a than_o his_o neighbour_n what_o be_v person_n more_o willing_a to_o be_v bad_a and_o vile_a then_o to_o be_v so_o account_v and_o so_o call_v yet_o how_o many_o be_v there_o that_o can_v endure_v to_o be_v evil_a speak_v of_o who_o yet_o will_v do_v most_o vild_o most_o unworthy_o and_o concern_v a_o excellency_n in_o grace_n many_o a_o one_o be_v afraid_a to_o be_v too_o hot_a and_o zealous_a for_o god_n lest_o that_o he_o shall_v be_v scorn_v and_o deride_v by_o the_o wicked_a of_o the_o world_n i_o wish_v it_o may_v not_o be_v find_v true_a of_o many_o a_o one_o that_o the_o praise_n account_n and_o opinion_n of_o man_n have_v not_o too_o much_o byace_v the_o matter_n so_o that_o they_o dare_v not_o strict_o conform_v in_o all_o thing_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n in_o their_o life_n lest_o they_o shall_v hear_v ill_a of_o those_o of_o who_o they_o will_v be_v commend_v thus_o man_n do_v err_v in_o their_o judgement_n they_o shall_v prefer_v the_o testimony_n of_o their_o conscience_n in_o please_v the_o god_n of_o heaven_n before_o the_o praise_n and_o commendation_n of_o all_o the_o man_n and_o woman_n in_o the_o world_n where_o find_v we_o among_o these_o man_n that_o i_o be_o speak_v of_o such_o a_o man_n as_o that_o heathen_a be_v of_o who_o it_o be_v say_v that_o soâ—ner_n a_o man_n may_v pluck_v the_o suâ—ne_a ouâ—_n of_o his_o sâ—hear_n then_o draw_v he_o aside_o out_o of_o the_o course_n of_o justice_n oh_o this_o great_a idol_n in_o the_o world_n this_o esteem_v and_o repute_n it_o draws_z person_n aside_o wonderful_o anâ—_n they_o think_v it_o â—_o disgraceful_a thing_n sometimes_o to_o do_v that_o which_o god_n command_v yea_o add_v one_o thing_n more_o when_o man_n be_v ashamed_a and_o afraid_a to_o be_v too_o good_a and_o yet_o they_o be_v neither_o ashamed_a nor_o afraid_a to_o be_v too_o bad_a it_o be_v a_o old_a say_n and_o it_o be_v a_o true_a one_o qui_fw-la timet_fw-la â—sse_fw-la bone_fw-la non_fw-la timet_fw-la esse_fw-la maâ—us_fw-la if_o you_o see_v a_o man_n afraid_a to_o be_v good_a that_o man_n sure_o be_v not_o afraid_a to_o be_v evil_a and_o as_o for_o that_o singularity_n in_o goodness_n which_o indeed_o be_v the_o excellency_n that_o i_o be_o speak_v of_o how_o be_v that_o evil_n speak_v of_o many_o a_o man_n be_v afraid_a to_o be_v think_v such_o a_o one_o it_o be_v the_o observation_n of_o a_o learned_a godly_a divine_a person_n say_v he_o will_v be_v singular_a in_o every_o thing_n but_o in_o one_o thing_n that_o be_v in_o grâ—â—e_n in_o goodness_n and_o in_o godliness_n for_o wealth_n a_o man_n will_v be_v the_o rich_a man_n in_o the_o parish_n nay_o for_o pride_n person_n will_v be_v above_o any_o in_o the_o city_n what_o do_v man_n affect_v ungularity_n this_o way_n in_o riches_n and_o in_o pride_n and_o yet_o when_o they_o shall_v come_v to_o be_v singular_a for_o goodness_n they_o will_v be_v as_o their_o neighbour_n then_o they_o be_v afraid_a to_o be_v too_o good_a yet_o they_o be_v noâ—_n afraid_a to_o be_v too_o proud_a this_o for_o the_o first_o use_n use_v 2._o this_o look_v dâ—â—ectly_o on_o god_n people_n be_v this_o a_o truth_n that_o though_o many_o do_v virtuous_o yet_o some_o do_v excel_v in_o grace_n then_o for_o the_o people_n of_o god_n thus_o be_v they_o strong_a or_o be_v they_o weak_a in_o respect_n of_o themselves_o or_o in_o regard_n of_o other_o they_o may_v learn_v something_o from_o hence_o for_o those_o that_o be_v strong_a in_o the_o high_a form_n let_v they_o first_o walk_v humble_o among_o the_o grace_n that_o make_v person_n to_o shine_v and_o to_o be_v rare_a humility_n be_v one_o you_o know_v what_o the_o apostle_n speak_v who_o make_v thou_o to_o differ_v and_o the_o same_o apostle_n write_v a_o whole_a chapter_n &_o all_o
